Its documentaries like this that makes me realized these people live a much more relaxed and rewarding life than we do, makes you just want to find some remote area and get away from it all, technology is great, thus I am seeing this but oh, to be carefree .sigh.
Relaxed? Do you want to go and live this life? I’m sure it’s so tiresome and stressful for you to, like, work in a ventilated office each day. NOT hunting animals that fight back.
His reaction to the raising of the flying foxes says it all.. I could instantly see him smiling and then he replies with something along the lines of "it's meat" lol..
Whats most fascinating about this is is realizing that that no matter how evolved or civilized humans are, what color they are and despite of culture, communication is universal past the language barrier through the same emotional expressions, gestures, body movements and vocal sounds. I mean it is well known that even animals know from your expression and behavior whether your friendly a threat, sad in need of help or neutral. Now what's left to answer if this works upwards too. Theoretically meeting extraterrestrial lifeforms that are much more evolved than us and might communicate in more complex ways among them but still rely on those basics and enable them to also successfully communicate with us.
It's almost as if being fit is the natural state of a human, or any animal, and we have put ourselves in a completely unnatural pathological direction with overuse of technology!
The documentary where they took these guys to London was the best thing I ever saw, struggling to find the doc. They worship Prince Phillip and said the best food they’ve ever had was KFC.

Fascinating to observe the hunters’ craftsmanship, skill, and patience. The host and camera crew also deserve credit for climbing through all that brush! Question though: if the tribe’s best hunter is 90 percent successful, how is the tribe 95 percent successful 😛(Maybe they were differentiating species?)
Maybe not only this specific tribe but many groups of this tribe together. It could also be seen as efficacy over a timespan (lets say 50 years or something)

I saw some comment and there are ignorant bunch with comment like "tribe man can speak english?" just because they live in primitive tribe doesn't mean they can't communicate, usually it is just they choose to live that way instead of join the regular society so I bet the kids going to school and some of them will live in the city while some will return to the tribe because they might not like the loud noises from bunch of vehicles, pollution, etc so it is usually tribe people just choose to live that way but most of them are already educated.
You are right, im from a similar ethnicity as these people and my father was raise in a village but was sent to school by his parents where he learnt english etc. Cheers for your comment
The navigational skills in the jungle by the natives is not to be overlooked. They are incredible to say the least. Chopping, running thru the jungle looking up for birds or down for tracks. Very easy to be lost and disoriented to say the least.
This is so cool. As an avid American hunter I totally respect the risks these men take. Crazy crazy idea. Bring one of these men to America to hunt wild hogs, deer , squirrels with a crazy southern American! Mostly me. I would love to show them our way of getting fish, deer , and hogs. Hayden rolls his eyes at the hunter after he shows him how he hunts bats with a stick. Hayden says “yea that’s gonna work” sarcastically. Few minutes later, this dude climbs five stories high up on the top of a tree and chucks the stick, cracking the fox out of the sky. My man Hayden don’t know who he’s messing with
