Flags are *meant* to catch your eyes. You probably wouldn't want to stare at the german flag in your background while you were writing something for hours and hours.

I actually really like hot dog stand, ngl. I think where VS Code's theme Red goes wrong is it should make the code window yellow, not red.
these themes are infinitely better than standard dark/light themes nowadays

CTRL+SHIFT+P, then type theme and it'll come up.

the vscode theme is worse than the original themme because the vscode theme uses yellow text on a red background whereas the original theme uses i black/grey/white text

It's truly the perfect theme, because not only is it the perfect, glorious communist colors. It is also exactly as functional as real communism. And has the exact same colors as the insides of the enemies of the communist state. It's the trifecta of communist themes. ❤

I was using CTRL+SHIFT+P to open the command pallette, then just search for "theme" and you'll find it.
Their high contrast Light mode ones are just as worse if not worse. Pretty sure I have grounds to sue them for that one. I can't remember around a whole year of my childhood. I think it singed my brain.

Ahh, sweet communist VS Code theme. Basically anyone who commits to open source is obliged to use it. Also each time you open Code with this theme on, it starts playing anthem for 3 minutes before you can actually start coding, just so you feel more passionate building the world communism, or, well, at least WWW communism 🫡
