As a mom in the thick of newborn postpartum life, I can’t describe how comforting it is to hear you talk about your experience as a mom and feeling like yourself again.
I’ve never commented on a single RUclips video but just wanted to say I loved this. I’ve watched for years and I’m roughly the same age, same stage of life. This so resonated- I felt like I was chatting with my best friend. Atta girl
This past fall I purchased a Verilux Happylite at Costco and I have been using it faithfully every morning for 45 minutes while drinking my coffee. I live in the coldest area in Canada, winter is a good 6 months long and OMG, what a difference in my mood/feelings using this light!! It has made such a difference for me🥰
Love that you suggest the library. Too many think they’re irrelevant. Not true. Even if you don’t read they have so much to offer: programs, streaming, hotspots… all free. Love your channel!
Moved from upstate NY, to near Tampa, FL for 10 years & now in middle TN. For me I got the opposite, when it was just brutal sun day in day out, oppressive heat that made even grocery shopping absolutely abysmal, I got depressed😣. I would get excited for cloudy cooler days. My fave beach days were a staycation to New Smyrna Beach & St. Augustine in unexpected 60° misty cloudy gray weather, it was so perfect🙌 and one of my fave staycations we did while living there.
I will second the Happy Light - per my psychiatrist, I start in October and do it pretty much every morning through spring. This is obviously for diagnosed depression but I’m sure it could help anyone with winter blues. They say it’s important to do it consistently and to start earlier in the Fall before the sun has been gone for too long.
I have been watching several YTers for a long time but I've come to realize that you have become one of my favs. Your family is so lovely and I feel you and Tyler do a great job balancing everything. Kudos to you! ❤
👆🎁👆Thank you for watching and commenting, Congratulations! You have been selected among my winners🎊 Reach out to me on Nicegram to claim your prize ✨❤️
Floridian here! I've never experienced the winter blues, but I have experienced the summer exhaustion when it's so hot and humid that everything you do seems like effort. Our glory days are in the Winter and Spring. Sunny skies, low humidity and cool to chilly weather. It's perfection.
16:36 this chat about just wearing what you want to wear without waiting until you look or feel a certain way is right on time for me!! I’m 9 weeks postpartum and definitely needed to hear that
What I learned from my 3 kids is that kids are all different and what works for one may not work for the others. Even though I am a total planner and love a schedule I spend most of my life winging it. 😂 We learn as we go. My 14 year old son and I just had a conversation that he will make mistakes as a new teenager and I will make mistakes as a “new” mom to a teenage boy. We have to give each other grace, communicate, forgive and learn from and with each other. ❤
Mom guilt is so real! I always say babies are born with a side order of guilt that no one ordered but you can't send back! And no matter what you do...working mom or stay at home mom, it's there. I was a full time stay at home mom, and my guilt was so wrapped up in not helping financially...maybe we could do more trips to Disneyland, bigger birthday celebrations, more fun classes for them. I agonized at times that I was denying them some of these things, while my working mom friends cried when they missed first steps and couldn't go to class parties or snuggle them at all hours of the day. So, ALL moms deal with it. I like to think it means we love our kids enough to want it all for them :-)
Cappuccino are ‘supposed’ to be made with a rule of thirds. 1/3 espresso, 1/3 milk and 1/3 foam. Latte is mostly milk and should have about 1cm of foam :) Love this style of video ❤
Hey! I have a June baby too and we kept her back a year. So this year is her second time in Kindergarten (first year in public school, last year was a private church program) and we are SO glad we did! She is now so much more confident and has taken on a leadership role for her class. I read someone say they held their kid back and it helped them so much as teenagers. Their kid was more emotionally mature and became the friend that everyone went to for guidance and it also helped bypass a lot of peer pressure issues. That sold me! Hardest and best parenting decision we’ve made so far! ❤
The Ciate single eyeshadow in “Peach Party”is a DUPE for Luscious in the peach palette!!!! It’s actually smoother…but it doesn’t smell like peaches. It’s gorgeous!
I lived in FL from ages 6-30, I feel like I had reverse seasonal depression. I HATED going outside in the heat, it made me miserable. I would be so unhappy during the year but when we got the occasional winter weather I would be ecstatic. We just moved to WA in September & I’ve never been happier, I love the weather here! I’m sure I’ll get tired of it sometimes but I’ll take it over the FL heat/humidity any day. Different preferences I guess! ☺️
I love this for you! I grew up in Seattle but now I live in Eastern Washington where it gets HOT in the summer. I get so happy when fall rolls around and there is a chill in the air. A rainy day is my absolute favorite. I totally have opposite seasonal depression. It’s a real thing. 😂
Completely agree! I've lived in Florida my whole life and South Florida for most of it. I loathe summer here. It's 9-10 months out of the year. The sun is so bright, oh the headaches! I have come to absolutely love cloudy days. We are season-deprived here and it's the same for too much time. Winter is a nice break from some of the heat but it's very hit or miss. It's hard to regulate the cold when it drops quickly and leaves the next day. We are moving to North Carolina in a few months and I can't wait to have seasons!
Same here! I'm from Sydney, Australia and despite living here my entire life, I can never get used to the heat. It makes me lethargic, grouchy, and just makes me stay inside. We've had more gentle summers these past 2 -3 years so it's been such a blessing!
I am just arriving in FL right now to surprise my son to a day at Epcot and I just feel happier feeling the warm weather and the sun on my skin. It just makes me feel better!
I love what you said about clothes, fashion, and wearing things in the body you have today instead of waiting on some future self. And most importantly saying “who cares?!” if it’s perfect or not. That really resonated with me so thank you.
I held my son back last year from starting kindergarten and I’m SO GLAD I DID!! This year I can honestly say he’s READY!! And last year he just wasn’t and I knew it. Definitely will never regret it.
Do you mind sharing how you knew he wasn’t ready? My son will be 5 in July and the cut off is August. He tells me he’s nervous about it and I feel so conflicted
@@kristioster8403 I taught Pre-k for 11 years before having my boys so I was just able to go through a mental check list of things he’d need to know. My first could have skipped KDG but my second was so different. Where my fist picked up school related things effortlessly he’s not much into gross motor activities but my second is SO interested in gross motor activities that he gets frustrated when I try to work with him on ABC 123 activities. But if it’s one thing I’ve learned it’s that they are ALL so different and it’s finding a way to teach them through what they are interested in. My second child just wasn’t picking up the alphabet very well, wasn’t understanding rhyming, patterning and a few others that I knew from my son previously being in kindergarten (and helping out in his class) that he’d absolutely need to know. So I made the decision to give him another year in Pre-k. It’s a decision I will never ever regret. I have said in many many many parent teacher conferences that it’s better for them to be over ready then not comprehending it at all. To be honest last year I said to my husband that I honestly feel if we send him to kindergarten now it’s like putting him in the middle of the ocean without a life vest. And I would say if any parent has that feeling then don’t send them. There is no shame in keeping them back a year. In the end it greatly helps them improve and starts them off with confidence vs feeling overwhelmed. Like I said, with my first there was no question he was ready…he was already spelling, reading and doing simple math. My second completely different and that’s ok. We finally figured out what worked and he’s thriving now. I found some fun locks on lakeshore’s website where the upper case letter was on the lock and the lower case letter was on the key and the locks actually work!! He was thrilled and didn’t even realize we were working on the alphabet….MOM WIN 🥇 I apologize for this being so long. I hope it helps. And if I didn’t explain something very well or you have more questions PLEASE reach out!! I’ll do my best to help out 🙂
Yes we are in Michigan and the last few weeks of those "fake" spring days have been wonderful! It makes your soul feel so good with the sun beaming on you! But now here we are back to winter! 😮💨... few more weeks till we spring forward though!! Yayyyy!!!
I agree. I’m a new mom and struggled with the schedules and feeding etc. The over complication of raising kids comes from being constantly inundated with contradictory information and judgement from social media, friends, other moms etc. And like you said every baby is different so advice from others can only go so far. I’ve only started to become more confident once I just paused, watched and learned what my baby wanted and how they thrived so sometimes you just have to observe and follow their lead! ❤
The talk about kids/ babies was SO relatable. I have a 3 month old and have been so guilty about doing the “wrong” thing, like comfort nursing to sleep, contact napping, etc. it’s so silly because if it’s working for us, who cares!?
Yes, living in a sunny location does help with that Seasonal Affective Disorder. I’ve experienced winter in both sunny and classic northeast overcast locations. The sunlight truly matters, even on equally cold days. And yes, I do think the “happy lights” work as well - it did for me.
Being a native Floridian, that’s recently relocated to South Dakota, living through my first Winter. My answer to your Winter blues question is, “no, I did not feel that while living in Florida. I will say, I sometimes felt a bit fatigue from living in what felt like a one-note type of climate, but it’s not the same as this unexplained sadness or grim out of nowhere that I’ve felt off and on this Winter in South Dakota.
I was a stay at home mom and still had mom guilt and now I feel like I have grandma guilt. 😂 I think we are our own worst critics - we need to to encourage each other as women as we are all trying to do our best! I think you are doing awesome - love watching all your adventures as a family.
I moved from NY to FL two years ago and the year round sun absolutely helps with my mental health. Its also a much better life for my young children who can be outside year round. NY winters were hard with a toddler.
I live in Florida, originally from NY, and honestly I miss winter!!! I know it sounds crazy but I actually get the opposite where I feel like I’m super bummed and frustrated because it’s always so hot, and sticky, and my hair is always in a bun to keep it off my neck, and I just miss sweaters and boots and that crisp cold air. Hoping we move out of here soon!(army family)
Same here! I'm originally from Ohio, have lived in Florida most of my life though, and I miss the 4 seasons. The humidity is horrible here in Florida! I have the Rainy Day Blues at times too, when we get days of rain and clouds.
Same. I was from central California with brutal summers that seemed to last forever. For the last year my husband and I are traveling looking for less extreme heat. One thing I have figured out is if the weather keeps me from getting outside that sends me into the blues. These last two months I’ve been in the mountains in the snow in Colorado and I hated it. So far at the top of my list I’d Washington/Oregon. The rain didn’t bother me surprisingly.
Here in Florida! I don't get winter blues for prolonged periods, but we do often have say, a week or so that is gloomy, rainy and/or cold. And that does get to me. But then it'll be bright and sunny the next week! So thankfully it doesn't last long. The upside to living in paradise is that you don't have that, but you also barely get seasons. I'm in central Florida so we actually do get short freezes in the winter and that's way more season than my family in Tampa get lol. Miami gets almost no changes, just slightly cooler weather than the scorching summer.
Really enjoyed this chat Jessica. I actually remember going to my first day of kindergarten many moons ago and I remember my daughters first day of kindergarten, they're 16 months apart so they got to go to all schools together. I can see it like it was yesterday, my goodness lol! Jessica, dress in the clothes you love, there's nothing shallow about that at all. In fact someone told me every item in your closet should be a "wow" piece for you because you deserve that. I've been through the guilty feeling way too much and honestly I still get the guilt feeling because old habits are hard to break but you are worth it, everyone is. I'm sending lots of hugs and positive energy, prayers and love your way, you are the best Jessica, these chats are helping so many of us. Talking to others about stuff always makes me feel so good and that's what you're doing, thank you!
My husband and I lived in South Dakota while he was in the military and it is absolutely beautiful! I miss it so much! If you do end up taking a long road trip don’t skip it, you’ll love it too I can guarantee it!
I grew up in MN, than moved to Los Angeles. I terribly missed the seasons. I now have moved back to MN and really hate winters, but have learned to deal with it much better ( winter running) and really appreciate the seasons. I love being able to appreciate those 60 degree days in March and good thunderstorms in the summer.
As someone with a complicated body issue (EDNOS and chronic illness), finding clothes that actually fit my body and I feel good in has been such a journey. But I am tired of waiting for a different body, I am trying to enjoy living in the body I have. Its not always easy but getting dressed and feeling cute has helped mental health quite a bit
I'm a winter person and i get so sad when it's coming to a close, but I hate to wish my life away by putting my head down and just pushing through summer. I need to learn to appreciate every season.
👆🎁👆Thank you for watching and commenting, Congratulations! You have been selected among my winners🎉 Reach out to me on Nicegram to claim your prize♥️❤️
My husband and I are taking Fred Astaire dance lessons this winter and it is the best thing we have ever done for our marriage. Helping the winter pass quickly and when we aren’t running out the door after work to a class we are at home practicing dancing together! Can’t wait to show off all of our moves during all the summer wedding season!
I also live in Florida, and am originally from New York and while in New York I never had the “winter blues” or Seasonal Affective Disorder, SAD. I loved the snow and whenever it snowed I would be outside playing in it with one of my dogs. Or shoveling. I also used to going skiing a lot upstate with my husband and enjoyed that as well. I do prefer the sunnier and warm days of winter here, now that I’m older, but never had any issues with New York’s cold winters.
Bright Light Therapy, BLT or full spectrum light during the winter or fall months was proven to increase the body’s reuptake of seratonin which improved the depression or seasonal affective disorder, SAD, people dealt with during these seasons. So is not a psychological response but a physiological one to the lack of sunlight. Maybe you should try your full spectrum light to see if it helps. I know in later years while living in New York, I used to use a full spectrum light to try and reduce my chronic pain because it was known to help that as well.
Here in Tucson, I get Summer blues. In the middle of June when it is horrifically hot, I cannot wait for our rains to come in July. Feb can be cold, but most weeks we have a few sunny lovely days and March is magic.
Florida here, and yes! In July when you feel the heat coming from the ground and for us, the humidity feels suffocating, I look forward to Fall and Spring.
California (LA/OC area) and I also get summer blues. While beach days are nice… kinda with crowds.. I just hate the sun and heat. With traffic, it makes the trips in the car sufferable
Hey, Jess!! I'm loving the Car Vlog!! I love when Taylor does them too! "Mom or Parent Guilt" never goes away...never!! I have 3 grown Sons, all in their 30's, and I still have Mom guilt when something happens or goes wrong with them. They are all happy and living wonderful lives... Thank God! Deciding to hold Gigi back is a wonderful decision!! I was a Teacher's Asst. and I've seen many more advantages than disadvantages to doing that. You and Tyler are totally awesome parents!!! Take care, Jess! ❤️
3:09 I live in central Florida and we absolutely feel the winter blues. Especially during the time change. Even though I live in the sunshine state, if it is “nice” out I are working during that time. Once I leave work and head home it’s dark out. March-November is the best time here.
So many of your answers resonated with me, but especially the clothing/body positivity answer. I gained a little weight in the pandemic and have been in a rut of wearing oversized shirts and leggings. Thank you for the encouragement to move forward even if I'm not as skinny as I was a few years ago. Also - a US roadtrip is my dream!! So many states I have not been to.
I live in Miami and I absolutely love the winter because there's sunshine and it's not too hot. I grew up in the midwest and always had seasonal depression in February. SAD is very real and any extra light is helpful. Florida has been good for me.
I seriously loved this Chat! And the intro cracked me up. I just love your chill/nuanced perspective on things. Your coffee chats are one of my mental health resources, so thank you!! Also, I lived in FL until I was 30, I used to get the summer blues from the murderous heat. My partner and I moved to Idaho recently to escape the heat and get 4 season weather. Taking your family on an American Road Trip sounds so fun!!!
I’m right there with you in rediscovering my personal style! I’m 5 months pp with baby #2, but I feel like I lost myself in terms of style when I was pregnant with baby #1 in 2020. Such a good feeling to prioritize yourself and feeling good again ❤
January depression was HORRIFIC for me. The past few years have been worse than ever. I don’t know what it is. Michigan had maybe 2 days of sunshine. I was so so depressed and almost to the point that I needed to get meds. But now Feb is here, we have sunshine! It’s great. I am happy to be back to normal-ish..
Jess, I love all your formats, and just enjoy watching you. I watched your wedding and it looked like such a fun, relaxed but meaningful wedding. You are beautiful inside and out.
I held back both my daughter and son back a year,June and August birthdays. I never once regretted it. Felt like it was especially good for my son but there is no need to start kids so early, wait until they are ready. Good job mom, you know what she needs.
I currently live in the PNW and we moved from Florida….I’m very fair, so the constant sunshine made me so sad because I couldn’t go outside much. Literally went to the beach and ended up with 2nd degree burns in less than 3 hours. I love the grey of the PNW, it also really makes you appreciate the sun. I feel like I live in perma-fall and it’s so good for my soul.
We would drive to Texas to visit relatives when I was young. Drove from Iowa. There were a couple places we would always stop: The Big Well in Kansas and Running Indian in New Mexico. I always looked forward to it. We always got to pick something out to take home.
I don't get a lot of winter blues, but when I do, pops of bright color seem to help me a lot! Yellow flowers, hot pink lipstick, bright blue clothes (my fav) all help! Also (oddly) citrus fruit in any form. Lemon bars for the win!
We just moved to Fl last May from NC and I miss wearing my sweaters and boots. I love the warm weather and so I stay confused lol. When my son was little he had asthma and was sick a lot and I sent him to half a day kindergarten and than the next year when he should have gone to 1st grade he went to a regular kindergarten. He was born in June and the youngest so that added to my decision and I have never regretted it. You know your children and I do not think there are any wrong decisions.
We are in Cincinnati and schedule a trip to Disney every year the last week of February for this exact reason. We are always in the midst of the winter blues and this helps get us through to spring.

From Mexico City here. Pretty much all year round it’s sunny, even if it’s cold, so the concept of winter blues or seasonal depression is honestly very terrifying 😅
I live in israel so it's warm here most of the year. On winter it's mostly cold and it gets a bit rainy once in a while, and I do feel a little winter blues. I think chronic illnesses could get a bit worse when it's cold, so that doesn't help things either... We do have seasons here, but I think seasons gets to long. When we are deep in winter, we miss summer. But then summer gets old and we can't wait to get fall or winter again with all the coziness and nice warm sweaters
When I had my year end conference with my son’s kindergarten teacher about whether to send my son to 1st grade or readiness (a full day class for students not quite ready for 1st grade, I asked the teacher what she would do, she said “ I would want my child to be the “ big fish in the pond” leading others, than be the “ smallest fish in the pond” always trying to catch up to others. That always stuck with me and I am so glad I kept him back. Academics are important, but so is social and emotional readiness.
My daughter turned 5 the end of July. She started that year skipped a grade high school (many credits ahead) graduated at 16 and started college 2 weeks after her 17th birthday. You have to determine where your children are. Anna is a college senior this year and thriving.
I live in Palm Springs CA. It's sunny allllll theeeee tiiiiiiiime! I actually get excited when we get rain (only 4 inches a year). I do not get seasonal affective disorder here. When I lived in Portland, I would cry because the rain didn't stop for months on end. I got the blues BAD. That's a huge reason why I moved to SoCal. I had to get out of the grey.
Hey Jessica, I live in Florida and I do feel the winter blues. Obviously for me is not about the cold or cloudy days, it’s about getting dark early. I don’t do well when I leave work and the sun is going down. I get tired and sleepy and don’t even want to cook or eat. I just want to go to sleep. I love when I get home and I still have a couple of hours of daylight. It gives me the energy to do more.
I live in south Florida and during winter is when i feel my happiest. You’re not sweating on the walk from the front door to your car lol If it’s a really rainy hurricane season I’ll weave in and out of a little bit of depression. So although it doesn’t get cold, there are definitely stretches of time where the weather affects my mood.
I'm from Atlanta, GA and we moved to New Mexico for a few years. The weather there is interesting. LOL. They have heat and snow - it would snow overnight, like 2 to 3 feet, but be gone by noon the next day. It gets into the low 100s in the summer, but there's always a breeze and there is NO humidity, so it doesn't feel as hot as Florida where low humidity means it's under 80%! We live in Jacksonville, FL right now and I can't wait to move. It's hot and sticky and winter is one week where it might dip into the 40s. Please. I'll take seasons any day. Atlanta is humid, but nothing compared to this. And we actually had winter there. I miss it! Oh, and NM doesn't get much rain. It rained less than five times in the three years we were there. I really missed the thunderstorms!
Yeah in Canada we're still about 3 months until spring 😅 I hate the "5 year plan" question too. I always just say "I'm vibing and trying not to die" it's worked for me for a while now 😅
Always love hearing from you. So interesting to hear about your parenting style. Oddly enough I don't tend to be super schedule oriented but I thrived on that with my son and used babywise. It helped me a ton dealing with my post partum depression and anxiety but now I do struggle as he is getting older with being flexible. Just like kids every parent is different! Thanks for sharing your experience! You are a Rockstar mama!
We traveled a lot with our daughter when she was little and she doesn’t remember much. Wait till they are a tad bit older and they will remember so much more!
Thank you about your comments about sleep training etc. it caused me so much stress and anxiety the first few months of having my first baby 6 months ago. Thank you so much!!!!
Love the video! Just wanted to say I never thought I was the kind of person who needed a schedule but when I had a baby turns out I do and thrived once I got her sleep trained and on a nap schedule. Who knew! We learn so much about ourselves when we become parents. ❤
I live in Florida…ZERO winter blues over here!!! And we get to have “hurricane parties”…🌊☀️BUT I grew up in Noblesville, IN and definitely experience the winter doldrums!! It’s real
Living in SoCal we definitely still feel it! It’s probably just not to the same extreme since we don’t actually have real seasons. 🤔 I think the fact that it gets dark early that affects me more than anything!
I do live in Florida, specifically Orlando…. I don’t get ❄️🥶Winter Blues obviously, but I get winter highs! When it’s cold here, it’s so exciting because we rarely get it. The summer however is another story, I get the summer blues! ☀️☔️🌧️ I know we are spoiled here with beautiful weather, we do get so sick and tired of HOT HOT HOT every darn day…..LOL and the HUMIDITY and RAIN, summer is terrible here lol & after so many days of it, I’ll be done and need some cold fresh air in my lungs and hitting my face😊🥰 the month of February is the best time to come to to Disney in my opinion, weather speaking👌🏻👍🏻
Growing up we went on a road trip to South Dakota/Wyoming (we’re from Ohio) and it was a long drive but I still have so many good memories from that trip!
There is also the "summer blues", which is what I get. I live in Mississippi and if any other person from the south tells "Oh no, the humdity isn't that bad"-please know that they do not speak for all southerners. I cannot stand the heat and humidity and our fall/winter can feel anywhere between a little bit of cold weather and 100 degrees. The weather down here is psychotic. If I could talk my husband into leaving for a cooler climate, I would gladly pack it all and go. Also, Too Faced still sells the Sweet Peach palette; I received it in my November Ipsy Glam Bag X. :)
I find it interesting that I always look forward to weather getting chilly and weather getting warmer. I don’t love the middle of summer or the middle of winter. But fall and spring are my favorite (minus the pollen - if you’re in Georgia…you KNOW). I think it’s the mindset change that comes along with the weather change. I love watching your coffee chat videos while I enjoy my mid-afternoon coffee! ☕️
I live in the tropics, where we only have 2 seasons: rainy and dry. Generally and from an early age and because of the frequency of rains during the rainy season, we've learned to literally dance in and enjoy the rain. So long as the rains come and don't cause floods or drown out crops, we generally have a positive attitude towards overcast, gray, and rainy skies. We've always associated gray rainy skies with time to self-reflect, to listen to our favorite songs, to slow down, to cook up heart warming meals, or to prepare traditional hot chocolate that is shared by the family indoors with warm conversations. But we can do all of these and enjoy the rains because we are certain that the sun always come out. And the best thing had always been because after the strong heavy rains, the air is always crisper and fresher and the sun so much warmer and welcoming.
I felt the wearing what you want to wear in my soul! My second baby just turned one, and I finally feel like I can wear what I wanna wear! You’re right we’re not getting any younger wear the cute jeans! ❤
Born and raised here in FL, our weather has been so messed up for so long now that we don't have a real winter season, it's just all over the place. We do get the blues with so many people moving here and the snowbirds lol. That's what gets us. When we have weeks of rain in the summer that is tough too.
My daughter is in kindergarten this year. Seeing her development and when things started clicking. I now 100% recommend holding kids back. Each child is different of course.
You may look into these as dupes for Too Faced Luscious! Colourpop Unsupervised, it comes as a single and also is in the Golden State of Mind palette! I also have the Colourpop Of Quartz palette and it has several similar type shades that I LOVE!! ❤️
Floridian here but born and raised in Virginia! I definitely experienced the winter blues in Virginia, but I don't here in Florida. However, I joke that I experience reverse seasonal depression because we're so cooped up in the summer, it starts to get depressing. I find that my mental health is typically the worst in August/early September because of that.
Lattes are mostly milk and then just topped with foam while Cappuccinos have more foam. Loved this coffee chat! I'm not a mom bit am also feeling better in my body and enjoying picking out outfits, wearing jeans again, after quite a few years not feeling great about myself.
I love how you and Taylor mention each other in literally every video 😂 it just warms my heart to see a connection between 2 of my favorite youtubers
Same! Always makes me smile
Me too!
What a beautiful friendship between 2 ambitious girls!!!
I hope you don't mind me asking, who is Taylor ? What is her channel?
This 💯
There's nothing shallow about wanting to look good & feel good in our clothes!
As a mom in the thick of newborn postpartum life, I can’t describe how comforting it is to hear you talk about your experience as a mom and feeling like yourself again.
Same. My baby just turned 3 months old and I’m starting back at work next week. I’m an emotional mess knowing that I won’t be staring at her all day.💔
I love the format of car chats. Feels good to "be" outside and feels like we're besties running errands together or something. ❤
I’ve never commented on a single RUclips video but just wanted to say I loved this. I’ve watched for years and I’m roughly the same age, same stage of life. This so resonated- I felt like I was chatting with my best friend. Atta girl

Latte is mostly milk and should have about 1cm of foam :)
Love this style of video ❤
My very favorite coffee/espresso drink is a latte! The milk/cream is life, lol! :)
@@stephanielaws9826 I agree 💯
@@stephanielaws9826 yes!!!
I hang out in the car for coffee/meals with fam or friends or FaceTime - it’s so lovely and intimate!! We dubbed them car picnics 20 years ago ☺️💕💕💕💕
I live in Phoenix… the summer is the hardest time of the year for me!
Saaaame! I’m in Laurel MS and so much of the year I hate the weather.
I am just arriving in FL right now to surprise my son to a day at Epcot and I just feel happier feeling the warm weather and the sun on my skin. It just makes me feel better!
Boy you just made me feel so old! Gigi being old enough to go to preschool, I remember when you were pregnant.
He was thrilled and didn’t even realize we were working on the alphabet….MOM WIN 🥇
I apologize for this being so long.

Temptalia says the Sephora eyeshadow in shade 31 "demanding" is a 95% dupe for the Peaches shade Lushious. :)
I haven't felt well all week and I'm soooo thankful for all your uploads this week keeping me company! Thanks Jessie! ❤️
Same here....feel better soon 😘
@@patriciaburns2223 You too! Prayers for you! 🥰❤️🙏
Same! I was miserable in the heat and humidity in Florida and since moving to a colder climate, I have never been happier!
Me too! I'm in CA and I wish we had seasons here.
YES!! Same, so sick of the heat. Lol

Hello from Arizona as well! I feel you ❤
Hello to my fellow “hot” ladies and gents. 🫶
Agree. March in Arizona is perfection.
California (LA/OC area) and I also get summer blues. While beach days are nice… kinda with crowds.. I just hate the sun and heat. With traffic, it makes the trips in the car sufferable
we’re gonna have to do an IRL car chat together one of these days 🖤
I love the cold weather. I'll take it over 100 degrees ANYDAY
3:09 I live in central Florida and we absolutely feel the winter blues. Especially during the time change. Even though I live in the sunshine state, if it is “nice” out I are working during that time. Once I leave work and head home it’s dark out. March-November is the best time here.
Cappuccino is third espresso, third, milk, third foamed milk. Latte is espresso, mostly milk, and topped off with foam.
My favorite Jean brand right now is Kut from the Cloth. I love the fit so much, I love all their options, totally recommend.
Even in Hawaii when we have our 1-2 months of constant rain. My happy light is a must.
This style was good. I love the T. Wynn inspired chat
I’m from South Dakota! Highly recommend taking a trip to the black hills! Lots of family friendly things to do and beautiful landscape
Yay, road trip, def. Come to MN! There is so much here!
Makes total sense! I’m 51 and still feel that way. Thank you for your conversations & videos!!
I'm super sick and have the winter blues. Your video really cheered me up. Thanks Jess.
I always just say "I'm vibing and trying not to die" it's worked for me for a while now 😅
We drove from DC to Seattle last summer. It was fabulous. I highly recommend Colorado, Wyoming, Montana, Idaho, and Washington we’re AMAZING!
Born and raised in Miami and I love our winters cause we only get a few cold days but it's cooler and the air gets crisp and it's just nice.
We traveled a lot with our daughter when she was little and she doesn’t remember much. Wait till they are a tad bit older and they will remember so much more!
I really enjoy this chatty visit style of video. Thanks for taking us along on your day.
Thank you about your comments about sleep training etc. it caused me so much stress and anxiety the first few months of having my first baby 6 months ago. Thank you so much!!!!
For the shark/Dyson the best way I have found to make curls stay is mousse ! It helps so much
Do you put mousse in while your hair is wet or dry? Thanks
@@ryanfitzgerald3202 wet !! Right after getting out of the shower
I’m so glad I found your channel lol you’re one of my new favs!!
Yeah I love coffee car chats , Taylor Wynn does these as well .
My parents took my sister and I on road trips growing up. We drove to every state and it’s some of the best memories I have of my childhood!

Born and raised here in FL, our weather has been so messed up for so long now that we don't have a real winter season, it's just all over the place. We do get the blues with so many people moving here and the snowbirds lol. That's what gets us. When we have weeks of rain in the summer that is tough too.
I live in southwest GA and it is very similar to Florida weather and you definitely still feel the winter blues! I get it every year
My daughter is in kindergarten this year. Seeing her development and when things started clicking. I now 100% recommend holding kids back. Each child is different of course.
Hello from Chicago!!! Seasonal depression/moods are 💯!! Your videos make me feel like I am listening to a friend!
