Cool builds! I’m planning something similar to the range build, but taking Kourend instead of the Desert. My thinking is: - T6 range makes ranged accuracy irrelevant. So offensively, void > masori. Defensively, torva > masori - Take the thieving relic instead of the agility one. Asgarnia gives access to flippers, so underwater thieving is going to be better agility XP than the agility relic itself - The Drygore blowpipe is an awesome weapon for a secondary style, since it gets its full speed at tier 3- but its accuracy passive is nullified by range tier 6. Crossbows rune+ are easier to get and more powerful when combined with an offhand and enchanted bolts - CoX also gives rigour without grimoire, DHCB, and the twisted buckler, all hugely useful
I think probably AFZ? A has lots of skilling options and synergises well with power miner to create lots of knives for early combat F mostly provides bonuses for reaching the crossbow tier. Vorkath and Muspah both give lots of solid progression, and it’s nice to have an assembler before switching to high-tier bolts. Plus golden god goes great with the Keldagrim construction shop to max out magic, prayer, construction, and gp Zeah also has lots of skilling options, but the main ranged upgrades come from CoX so I’m fine taking it last
That does sound fun! Though watch out that justi chestpiece prevents Ava’s devices from working, so ammo will run out 5x as fast while you’re wearing the full set
For the range build, it's better to do thieving relic than agility one. Asgarnia gives you flippers which will give you insane agility with never-fail thieving underwater
I think I'll be going for kandarin purely cause of the afk clues with the thieving relic, that combined with the clue teleports will make it so I might actually complete all the clue related tasks this league
An extremely balanced and strong range+mage setup: Kandarin, desert, fremmy. 0/4/6 for combat masteries. drygore blowpipe plus full masori or d hide is really good dps, and healing. you dont even need more range masteries than 4 for it. pick 4 range for an early game boost untill you get a shadow to drop. early game range weapons are rune crossbow, bone crossbow, or any darts/knives. 6 mage is super strong with a shadow, and you can get virtus plus tormented bracelet and fremmy jewelry to boost magic damage. this full setup deals similar damage to drygore masori. the max hit is something like 114. both this ranged and mage setup kills jad in under 8 seconds, its a setup that capitalizes on how strong ranged is for early game, and grows into a very powerful mage setup for any bosses that resist your drygore, or need longer range. pick any skilling relics you want, clue teleport is best.
@@Nextia_ yea pretty much. i dont like picking it either personally. i might end up changing it for a region that has content i enjoy more, but youd be missing 10% dps on your mage setup. its honestly not that big of a deal to lose. kandarin is just a chill skilling region.
My idea is to go AFM with dodgy deals, overgrown, bankers note, and a 5/5/0 mastery. You can get void armor very early, arma/barrows mid, and good late game raid gear for melee. I think taking dodgy deals allows you to potentially skip golden god and go for maybe a clue relic if they offer one this leagues, and you won’t need the prayers because the DPS difference is very small with how masteries give you double accuracy. Fremmy gives best in slot jewelry and lunar spells, and you won’t need the ancient magics from grimoire either. The reveal today was that plants grow 5x faster so seeds with overgrown won’t be as much of a chore and you can get a ton of potion supplies with the allotments that my 3 regions offer. Fremmy also gives some good stuff for ranging and construction. Hopefully this helps someone out there
Especially the last build is good. No, you won't get best in slot but the amount of variety there makes going for good gear less grindy. On previous leagues, alot of people including me, focussed on getting the one set of end game gear we wanted. This just resulted in burnout. Looking forward to your leagues series!
5:30 note on corner cutter is that you can also knock out agility really fast with underwater thieving if you have dodgy deals. and overall i'd say dodgy deals is better for gathering certain supplies. the only way i see corner cutter being usefull is if they have do 2000 laps on the monkey course but they already stated they will be cutting those tasks.
Stupid question but why would dodgy deals help out w the underwater training? Grinded out merfolk trident but dont see any upside besides the 11 by 11 area multi loot mechanic 😗
Fyi: instead of doing ZTA, a better combo for both melee AND range, is ZFA. Just use the twisted buckler + plain dragon darts, and use the fremmy jewelry + ava's device. That improves dps greatly, and you don't even have to grind out the blowpipe. After all, Zulrah has nothing for you other than just the blowpipe, so it's a bit of a waste. Bonus here is that venator bow is BIS against slayer monsters; not only for its bounce attack, its max hit is just plain better than the tbow.
Ps: you mentioned DTA, but void is actually *better* than masori, at tier 6 range. So you don't need the masori, and the twisted buckler is actually the exact same range strength as the drygore blowpipe. Drygore is only stronger below tier 6 range. So at that point, Z is just as good as D for ranged, as long as you've got A as well.
what do you plan to use melee for? I feel like if you got t6 range there is very little reason to use melee because I feel like all melee stuff below t5 just isn'r keeping up

@@DayrusBPB hm yea I guess it helps with the spec. the drygore blowpipe only gives 10 range strength when charged, so the only benefit of it over just throwing darts by hand with a twisted buckler is accuracy, which doesn't matter at tier 6 anymore. dragonfire ward is 8 range strength but the ring and amulet add 15 range strength each and assembler gives 2, so that's 40 range strength vs 12 (10 from.the blowpipe and 2 from tbe venator ring) masori adds 8 total range strength spread over body, legs and helm. so, desert gives you a total of 20 range strength from body, top, helmet, ring and drygore while fremennik gives you 40. both get the base strength of the darts added on top, so that's 35 from dragon darts meaning 75 range strength with fremennik and 55 with desert. so just fir tier 6 range dps, fremennik alone beats A and D combined just because of how OP fremennik is so, in your case I would probably add fremennik to taht choice because then you get a total of: 15 from amulet, 15 from ring, 2 from helmet, 4 from body, 2 from legs, 2 from assembler, 10 from the blowpipe and 35 from the dart, so 48+dart which is 83 it's crazy how strong the fremennik jewelry is. it makes up over third of that total range strength, even counting in the actual weapon plus, the melee and mage stats pg them are crazy aswell so they will help the dogsword spec aswell as your mage training. I don't know what to go for yet haha maybe TFM 5-5-0 range, melee hybrid maybe VFM 6-0-4 meleer with a strong mage off style. or 6-4-0 with strong range maybe 0-6-4 VFM to be a very strong range tank with the option to switch to decent mage

Was thinking of desert because unlocking ancient spellbook seems important, and would be kinda cool to try out ToA. @@OnlyTrails thanks for the feedback, I may end up swapping out morytania for fremmenik though, those items seem to good to pass up? Esp if I'm going range?
I think you cooked with the endgame Varla/Tir/Mory build. I was going to take Fremennik bc bis jewelry=bigger dh max hits, but crystal armour with blessing sounds too strong to pass up for scythe. Both araxxor and vardorvis are available for next-bis jewelry as well, only 6 less str bonus. Even with last stand's ideal of 255 str, that's at most 6 max hits according to my calc: 223>217.

The only thing that stresses me out about leagues is potentially locking myself into a suboptimal path and feeling like I've ruined the account.
I think I’m going with Wildy/Varly/Mory build with Strong focus melee and a mid focus range build. I’m not sure on Colosseum and Inferno even with leagues buffs I am still a bad gamer. But hopefully with enough practices I can make it through.

Do you think it’s worth doing both Wilderness(instead of Tirannwn) & Asgarnia for a melee build? Third region would Kourend. It doesn’t seem to make sense (to me) to have two OP melee weapons when you can only use one at a time
I'm struggling here to comprehend a "beginners build" that requires raids and CG personally. I cannot find anyone anywhere who can recommend a good build that doesn't involve these things (or other extreme endgame PVM like Nex/DT2 bosses).
Any “build” is gonna require you doing some PVM that isn’t typically your cup of tea. CG is extremely mid game content that most players can do. If you aren’t looking for raids or CG you are locked to like Fremmy, Asgarnia, Wildy and Kandarin. Each of these each bosses are relatively easier but if you want the “good” loot you will need to do some type of raids. ToA is probably the easier of the three raids as you an control how difficult you make it. This league is extremely PVM focused with the Echo bosses so unless you wanna skill only, you will need to dip your toes into the end game pvm. If this is your first leagues, you will steam roll a lot of content that you normally would struggle with due to the power of the combat masteries. Don’t sweat it mate, you will do fine and go out of your comfort zone. Also Zeah is a good region cause of Hespori being the echo boss and not being the most difficult boss.
@ I only care about accumulating points. So I’m fine with not pushing new PVM content. I can do CG but my iron is literally at CG and I hate it, so the last thing I want to do is grind it in leaves. I just want to play and skill, get tons of points from medium and lower PVM as well as tons of skills/activities and not “try new content” … I have no friends that play and just have no interest
Here’s a good one, where the hardest challenge is beating a regular fight caves (which is way easier in leagues): Basically, the T6 range mastery is busted. 100% accuracy on range means that all ranged accuracy is totally irrelevant. Masori, Armadyl, Karils? Nope! The highest DPS range armor in the game is void knight armor. So: Start with Asgarnia. Pick the Mining relic for tier 1, supercharge it with the mining guild and mining gloves, make lots of cannonballs and the best knives you can. Getting tier 3 range mastery is pretty easy (55 slayer) and turns those knives into a powerful 1-tick weapon. Kill Scurrius for Tier 4 ranged Unlock Frem second. Get Ava’s accumulator, pick golden god, and use it in the Keldagrim construction shop for unlimited money, and max out construction, magic, and prayer with it. It should be easy to get combat level 100, which unlocks Tier 5 ranged A rune crossbow is your most powerful weapon now. Get the limbs by killing regular dragons, smith and fletch runite bolts. Ideally get black d’hide armor and an archers helm. You should be massively overpowered for the fight caves now Kill jad, get tier 6 range, and get void knight gear from pest control- this is your best in slot armor for the whole rest of the game! At this point you’ll be stupid powerful, and can take on anything, and what’s next is all up to you: - Better crossbows from god wars? - Dragon crossbow from rune/adamant dragons? - Better ammo from muspah or vorkath? Venator bow from muspah would be your bis multi combat weapon - Daganoth king echoes for the new jewellery? For your third region, pick whatever seems fun! Zeah or Desert if you want to pick up a raid and maybe get a tbow. CoX has lots of good ranged rewards
I simply gave the option for the simplest/easiest to learn with friend raid. I’m merely putting the information out there and you can for sure mix and match regions!
@@JaredHess188 This where the OSRS community is kinda out of touch imo lol. CG is definitely late game content. Most people recommend 90s in combats to do it comfortably, you need to be pretty efficient with your prep to get T2 gear, and Corrupted Hunllef is a definite skill check for PVMers, fast paced, pray switches, weapon switches, pretty precise movement, fairly consistent chip damage, and it can be hugely punishing if you misclick or mess up your pray switches. That said, I would urge OP to try some TOA in leagues, its much more chill and easily soloable (and echo Hunllef allows you to fully skip the prep phase if that sweetens the deal). You have more dps, defence, better loot, life steal, better food. With bankers note you can last forever too. TOA with no invos you have no time limit, and infinite attempts too. And if you really don't want to try new content, just pick your favourite bosses or regions and ignore the guides. Just have fun!
I'm pretty sure the crystal blessing doesn't require the armor to be worn. Could be wrong though - Edit: Also not sure if everyone gets a purple, it just triggers the chance for multiple purples in HMT or 500+ invo ToA
It was confirmed that you do need to wear the armour with the blessing for it to work with melee weapons. Like range, you gain the bonus per piece of armour you wear with the blessing
Maybe a stupid question but you mention T-bow in the range build but don't pick Kourend. How can you obtain a t-bow without acces to Chambers of Xerath, which is in Kourend?
I'm thinking VTM and DAF on the main and alt. TOA is much easier to solo than Tob so i don't have to worry about leagues going dead if i start that later
It's one thing for endgame but what about before that? I distinctly remember people suffering from going dry on shadow last league so what's the plan before bis? Am going for the full ranged one of desert asgarnia and fremmy.
@@Mejoree113 The issue is that i want to pick desert for the solo-friendly raid for endgame and mory has its own raid im not touching... Will likely go asgarnia, desert and fremmy with ranged build due to drygore blowpipe tho unsure about earlier game.
@@runelt99 I'm having a bit of a similar issue, for me I think I'm going either Varlamore or Morytania for Moons/Barrows, but I similarly want Desert for Toa... Then Fremmy/Tirannwn as others I'm considering... Decisions are hard lol
I want to do the last build so bad because it seems the most fun but I have 0 raid experience and never tried the sol heretic boss. CG is about my level, think I will still be happy going this route ?
If you can do CG consistently in the main game, then you should absolutely do the last build if you want to. I think you’ll be just fine with the extra power from relics/mastery. It’s what I was planning on doing before watching this so now I’m even more sure of my plan.
@@AlexByars Yeah it seems like the most fun regions if you are able to do most the content, also I feel like Melee is just what I have the most fun doing. I ran TOA a lot last leagues and had it down pretty good
@OnlyTrails thanks for the reply. I followed your beginner guide last leagues (my first) and really enjoyed it. Completely forgot GWD was Asgarnia when I posted the comment, for some reason I was thinking it was Frem (probably cause kill 1 of each boss is a Frem diary task). Good Luck with your leagues!
Seen some people talking about going zeah fremmy kandarin. Name of the game for mage build is max hits and what’s better than best jewelry’s, ancestral, shadow, with added bonus of swapping to Kodai and using surge spells with devil element whenever you fight a monster with weakness to an element(weakness doubled means you’re gonna be hitting HARD). To be fair, in my opinion there’s not really too much endgame content to choose from here, so it kind of seems counterproductive to go such an endgame focused build without an endgame to use it with.
Thanks for advice! My end game would be to do zuk, do maybe i could try it with mage instead of ranged - but mainly ye zuk is my end game other then that hard too see what else i could do
tier 6 relic makes drygore blowpipe worse than the regular one. it makes no sense, hard pass on desert. you can also skip masori for full tank gear or just throwing darts bcus accuracy is ignored with T6 range.

Here’s a good one, where the hardest challenge is beating a regular fight caves (which is way easier in leagues):
Basically, the T6 range mastery is busted.
Kill Scurrius for Tier 4 ranged
Unlock Frem second. Get Ava’s accumulator, pick golden god, and use it in the Keldagrim construction shop for unlimited money, and max out construction, magic, and prayer with it. It should be easy to get combat level 100, which unlocks Tier 5 ranged
A rune crossbow is your most powerful weapon now. Get the limbs by killing regular dragons, smith and fletch runite bolts. Ideally get black d’hide armor and an archers helm. You should be massively overpowered for the fight caves now
Kill jad, get tier 6 range, and get void knight gear from pest control- this is your best in slot armor for the whole rest of the game!
At this point you’ll be stupid powerful, and can take on anything, and what’s next is all up to you:
- Better crossbows from god wars?
- Dragon crossbow from rune/adamant dragons?
- Better ammo from muspah or vorkath? Venator bow from muspah would be your bis multi combat weapon
- Daganoth king echoes for the new jewellery?
Like range, you gain the bonus per piece of armour you wear with the blessing
it was confirmed that if 1 person gets a purple everyone gets a purple flat out
when playing melee, it allows the crystal bonuses to apply to any melee weapon. so you'll definitely want it if you go melee T
Both things are comfirmed :)
Maybe a stupid question but you mention T-bow in the range build but don't pick Kourend. How can you obtain a t-bow without acces to Chambers of Xerath, which is in Kourend?
All 3 raids drop megarare vouchers which can be exchanged for any of the 3 megarares.
Barrows with gloves of the damned can probably shred a lot of late game content honestly
You mentioned swapping Tirannwn with Wilderness, then showed the ZCB with full crystal at 3:40?
It’s cuz i initially was gonna swap zeah for wilderness, was in a bit of a rush 🙃 good catch tho mb
Does hespori grow quicker in leagues??
I want to do the last build so bad because it seems the most fun but I have 0 raid experience and never tried the sol heretic boss. CG is about my level, think I will still be happy going this route ?
If you can do CG consistently in the main game, then you should absolutely do the last build if you want to. I think you’ll be just fine with the extra power from relics/mastery. It’s what I was planning on doing before watching this so now I’m even more sure of my plan.
If there’s one time to try it’s during the league brotha!
@@OnlyTrails I agree I just don’t want to get there and not be able to complete it and just ruin my build/ waste time. Thanks for the reply man
@@AlexByars Yeah it seems like the most fun regions if you are able to do most the content, also I feel like Melee is just what I have the most fun doing. I ran TOA a lot last leagues and had it down pretty good
"Let's get into it"...
Why Asgarnia on the Range build please?
Zaryte crossbow, Armadyl, better leveling and all around I didnt want to make it too end game heavy since that's what the last one is for :)
We love leagues! Wahooo
your spreadsheet doesnt work anymore.
Any idea for mage build, strategy
Seen some people talking about going zeah fremmy kandarin. Name of the game for mage build is max hits and what’s better than best jewelry’s, ancestral, shadow, with added bonus of swapping to Kodai and using surge spells with devil element whenever you fight a monster with weakness to an element(weakness doubled means you’re gonna be hitting HARD).
To be fair, in my opinion there’s not really too much endgame content to choose from here, so it kind of seems counterproductive to go such an endgame focused build without an endgame to use it with.
Thanks for advice! My end game would be to do zuk, do maybe i could try it with mage instead of ranged - but mainly ye zuk is my end game other then that hard too see what else i could do
You can’t total recall outside of instance?
You can teleport TO the outside, you can’t telly INSIDE an instance
If you go desert AND 6 ranged you’re trolling
Has everyone at toa gets a purple been confirmed?
IF a 500+ invo raid, yes
Going WMF
tier 6 relic makes drygore blowpipe worse than the regular one.
it makes no sense, hard pass on desert.
you can also skip masori for full tank gear or just throwing darts bcus accuracy is ignored with T6 range.
Going ZTF 4/6/0
not to burst some peoples plans but ur not going to do rogues chest in wildly lol not peacefully for more than 2 minutes
see you there
