The only yard above ground is Angrignon (green line) but at this time, it's ain't an access to get rolling stock in or out. It's only to park the trains.
Otherwise, the only access for new rolling stock is through the Ateliers Youville (big & small repairs shop at corner St-Laurent blvd. & Cremazie blvd.)

is it true that the STM doesn't have the plate or dunno exactly what for the brake so they use some kind of wood ( and that would be the reason why is smells like burning wood in the station sometimes ? )

NAINPORTEKI there is a track that goes off the side between berri and beadry. Do you know anything about that. I belive there is another track that goes off between Viau and Pie 1X
That track you saw is an auxiliary track that goes to the Orange and Yellow Lines, it is currently used to move the trains and equipment to the other 3 lines. the ones you saw betwee nViau and Pie-IX are also auxilliary tracks that are rarely used in case of service disruption. the tracks on the other side (Angrignon side) are used for the maintenance equipment to access the parking garage between the 2 stations
The one between Pie-IX and Viau is for maintenance of way equipment. There are at least 3 others: Duvernay, in the connection between the green and orange lines near Lionel-Groulx; Snowdon; and the main track shop at Youville.
A while ago like 10 years ago and before then I remember seeing a funny looking metro, it had 3 cars, closed windows and one car was the MR 63. Anyone have a video of that? What was the Metro used for? Cargo? And is it still being used??

its an auxiliary track that lead to the Orange and Yellow Lines!
Connects the northbound mains of the orange and yellow lines with each other and with the eastbound main of the green line. That tunnel lies in the southeast quadrant of the Berri-de Maisonneuve intersection. de Maisonneuve was formerly called de Montigny; hence the original name Berri-de Montigny for what's now Berri-UQAM station.
There are similar but shorter connecting tracks between the orange and green lines near Lionel-Groulx, and between the orange and blue lines near Snowdon.

Because it was cheaper to build one big tunnel instead of two tunnels.
Lionel-Groulx metro station has a central platform. The east side is the green line and the West side is the orange line

Je relance ma question...sur la vidéo qui part de la voie 2 à partir de Henri-Bourassa je comprend le chemin,mais ce que je me demande c'est est-ce que cette vidéo a été faite avant ou après la mise en service de la nouvelle voie 4 à Henri-Bourassa? Par e que si c'est avant ça fonctionne,mais si c'est après la je ne comprends pas ou passe la voie 4 et ou elle ressort pour rejoindre la voie 2 ? Merci

Yes most of the train depots are underground except for the Angrignon Depot and the Youville Maintenance Shops!

this train was used for the collect at the beginning,after,thecollect was gived to the Brinks..the,the train was used to collect garbages over the subway network..now,this train are no longer used..

M P because it's the maximal speed they can go inside those tracks! if they were going fast and there was a track switch on, the MR-73 would've derailed!
