Been riding and dieing for Gucci fragrances since 2017. Guilty had its wave and Guilty Parfum had one too. GG Elixir is hyped and the bandwagons are definitely back. We see you, us real ones see you and we'll also see you jumping on the next one too. I wear all types of frags but I find myself going back to GGE for my everyday, go to signature scent.
@TheFragranceChannel Yeah, that price shocked me at first until I compared the price to PDM Darley and Pegasus. I own and love both of those. So, if we can get a 100/125/150ml for $250-$300, I'd say it's worth it. No different than paying those prices for Dior Sauvage Elixir. So, it's all in what you're willing to pay for the DNA. I guess if I simply wanted something within the basic overall DNA, I could've gone with super cheapies like Maison Alhambra Perseus or Armaf's Craze. But, I just haven't given them a chance. So, I guess, until then, I have to continue being okay paying these exorbitant prices. Because let's be honest, Dior, YSL, Chanel, etc, are not going to lower their prices, just as Ford, Chevrolet won't drop their prices. Not in 2024. 🤣
@TheFragranceChannel So, "Quality" is difficult to assume. Just because Darley and Pegasus have more "Middle Eastern" spices, doesn't mean it's higher quality. Overall, yes, there "feels like" there is more depth in Pegasus and Darley, for the first 15 to 30 minutes or so. However, after about 4 hours, Guilty is more perceivable in the air compared to Pegasus and Darley. My issue is we say contradicting statements, like, the notes are more perceivable in the air in Fragrance A, but "Fragrance B is smoother, therefore, "better blended". 🙄 So, which is it?? 🤣 My opinion, for what Gucci Guilty Elixir is trying to accomplish, it does a fantastic job. When we consider Amouage Reflection Man, JPG Le Male, PDM Darley, PDM Pegasus, all live within the vicinity of each other, having an alternative with just as much complexity and density of these aforementioned fragrances for a relatively decent price, I'd consider that a W for Gucci. Again, just needs to be released in a larger bottle. ❤️
@@TheFragranceChannel Lol, I'm not the only one with that opinion on this fragrance. Sometimes I wonder why companies and perfumers come out with shit like this.
After further wearing and experimenting with Gucci Guilty Elixir, it finally hit me! This fragrance smell like Cream Soda. 🍻
