Yes! No way. That is professional rigged and tested. No easy task on making this video I can tell you that. We are very proud on this to give viewers an outside of the Jet views FIRST TIME in 8K 360 in VR.

A lot of the clips weren't long enough to let me look all 360 degrees on my tv before it changed to the next clip. Otherwise I enjoyed the video. Pretty awesome that she's a pilot too!

Great video!!! but I think that stabilization takes away from the experience. I would love to see it without fixed horizon stabilization to feel the rolls and loops.
Good point! We tested it in VR and it is too much for most viewers. We left some of it at the end. I personally want to have more that shots - but the shaking + crazy turn - very fast to make people rig off the headset lol.
@@hughhou This is simply because of the lack of camera alignments and the horizon lock. I would love to see another edit with horizon lock off and all the cameras pointed at the front of the plane. And, remove the flight map insert. :)

@@hughhou Apparently this video was made with an Insta360 RS 1 inch and upscaled with Topaz. But it seems that you used the standard profile and my the vivid as you advised in your test of the RS 1 inch. I am wrong ?
Nice! I also have the 360 VR 4K video of the Blue Angels during Fleet Week, while **swimming** 🏊♂below the jets!! Search for "Crete Swim Blue Angels" on RUclips. The thundering sound 🌩 is incredible with the Meta Quest 2. Fleet Week is always amazing.
You captured Blue Angels!? We were supposed to capture them instead but their planes are not designed for camera rigging and they go even faster - so it is almost impossible to rig camera outside :(
@@hughhou I shot my 360 footage while swimming in the San Francisco Bay just below the Blue Angels show near Ghirardelli Square.

It had some artifacts in places of the video. Any idea why that happens?
Good eyes. It is stitching the 2 lens and fast movement create artifacts

It would have been a better VR experience if you would have aligned all your cameras to the same heading so when you made your cuts the viewer would be looking in same direction. The edit was fine for someone watching in a 2d window but completely useless in an immersive VR headset. It will make you nauseous watching because of the change in directions.
Good feedback! The video has more views on Meta Quest TV - b/c the resolution is higher in 8K :)

On phone or on desktop? 8K only on desktop mode with 4K + screen
