- Hey Everyone! This is #1 in a series of 12 playthroughs that I filmed for the album Revenge of the Fifth. I will be releasing 2 every Monday, in album order, for the next 6 weeks. The video and drums were recorded on January 16th and 17th, 2017 at Echo Base Studio in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. The drums for the entire record were re-recorded then remixed and mastered, specifically to highlight the drums for these videos. For those of you who requested drum playthroughs, I hope this helps! Haha he really is, I'm a 42 yr old man who's been playing drums for a while but I've never practiced like i should have all these years but men like your son inspire me to get better. I also have a pop punk band with my 19 yr ild son who plays guitar and sometimes my younger brother who is a drummer as well and when he does i hop on bass. It's awesome to see your child rock out isn't it!
Yes and his dad is an amazing bass player. Also lives to sing especially harmonies. Musical families hey!

I'm a huge Graham Churchill fan so I was wary about a change on the new Belvedere album, but you really bring your own technique and sound. Awesome work.
napalm06 Thanks, man, that means a lot. Graham is an absolute monster, and his shoes were not easy to fill, so I'm glad I'm doing justice. :)
I didn't listen to belvedere prior to this album...but your drumming is amazing and really makes the entire album tight as hell. Very impressive!
In my opinion after 20+ years, Belvedere has finally "found their sound" for lack of a better phrase. This, without a doubt, is their best album to date. Everything on this album has reached a new level. The playing is tighter, the singing and harmonies are tighter than they've ever been, the production is phenomenal, and the songwriting is better than ever too!

I would say this drummer (sorry i don't evwn know his name just the music) has taken over where the old Fat Wreck Chords type drummers used to rule like Derrick Plourde from LagWagon.
YES! His name is Casey and this is exactly what I said when I first heard him. He reminded me of Derrick also, one of the best of all time.

What era is that Z Ride from? The drummer from Mute use's one like that, I got one of the newer Mega Bells a while back but it was too thin and washy and the bell sounded terrible. I know a lot of the older Zildjians were heavier and gave you that nice ride sound.
1thess523 I bought it around 2012, I think. It is a Z Custom Mega Bell, 21".
