That armor with the air gaps is also known as spaced armor, commonly used in older tanks. WWII tanks for an example.
now you need to do abattleship combat on next multiplayer monday with these cannons
For a challenge could you do a 2 v 2 plane challenge were 2 of you fly in a plane ones on a turret and ones the pilot

Team tanks - One player builds the drive system and steers
the other player builds the turret and operates weapons
For an added twist - switch partners and swap turrets between rounds, or take turns steering, or both..
Good to see the gang still playing scrap mechanic i always wanted them to join in on the futuristic base world as enemys but i think thats not gonna happen
kan it boggles the mind how you thought it was a good idea to face hug scrap man on the side of his tank where he had a preaimed shot right into not only you cannon but also your seat multiple times.
I think i know why you could rapidfire the tank. As long as the timer's first pixel is on, and you spam the button, you can shoot. The game doesnt let you only shoot when its entirely on, it just says you can fire when its on.

Do one where you choose terrible designs for races to each other,you can not take too much blocks off,only add more to try and fix it,have tests for races,and battle
Scrapman's design is deceptively good. I once build the same style vehicle in crossout, and no one expects a cannon shot from the side
should try a camoflouge contest or something, you could have a mod that has a painting tool and have a color changing tank (or use the color blocks from the modpack)
Hmm... a Kanouflaged antitank (fixed turret, ykno) , a pink pirate ship and a guerilla warfare browncoat thing enter a bar... and do stuff.

They removed the Remote control glitch. The mod is also not super easy to use
There is the wireless router mod now that can send input signals to a different creation than the sender is in. Color coded was able to make one myself. We'll worth a look dude.

Do a fight like this, but with no rules about vehicle creation, just see who can create the most ridiculously lethal vehicle within the time limit. Add a few mods for things like explosive spawners and auto-aim/homing weapons.
Next Multiplayer Monday needs to be a two vs two tank battle like what you did then, however instead you have a second person manning the turret
do something like this but with multiple creations to make it different every time

You guys should make a race with a more realistic driving system. With a smart engine and a "gearbox" (different power/speed settings) where lower gear means less speed but more torque/power and higher gears for more speed but less torque/power. Also cars have a adaptive power steering where higher speeds means less aid while steering.

You guys should use the wings mod to make fighter planes and Have an in-air battle. To make it easier, each person's plane could have a bomb on it somewhere

A 5 sec reload believe it or not is actually really good compared to a real tank. At least WW2 era. Nowadays the average cannon is around 100mms and I do t know how long it takes to load one.
Lots of modern tanks have auto loaders, so they can have reload times at 2-3 seconds. The ones without auto loaders take 5 seconds or so like WWII-era tanks

Scrapmans wasn't even a tank. He had an unfair advantage over you two because he could shoot in two directions. Also he didn't have to turn his entire " tank " around if y'all got behind him
