I'm enjoying my K-Slim. I buy pretty good coffee & have no issues with it. If I use the 8 oz setting I have a good outcome. I do not however have another Keurig model to compare to. Tfs.
How is it? I'm thinking of getting it but kinda scared with all the site reviews saying it'll break down in under a year. Plus I don't want to buy a shitty multistream Keurig.

First of all, I don't trust these machines. I've been using a drip my entire life, and I love my coffee! However, I'm thinking of buying the Keurig slim, with reusable cups, so I can use my own coffee.
So weird. I just bought one and I've had to make my coffee on the 12 ounce setting because it was super strong. I used to use an aeropress to make my coffee. Mine has 5 needles instead of just the one yours has though. I think that's called multistream? Anyway, I've really liked mine. If I use a reusable cup with a filter and brew on the 8 oz setting it comes out pretty good too.
I was never a coffee drinker. Im 30. But now I'm starting to need it. And I bought this last night cuz I wanted a pod coffee maker. I wanted to cuz I had a delicious cup from a friends house. But when I used it this morning, it didn't taste the same. It's week and too watered down. I hope I can return it to target just by saying I didn't like it. Sucks. I really liked the shape but it was just toooooooooooo watered down. And this is from a novice coffee drinker.
My k slim worked perfect the first three months, then descale light came on, and I've tried cleaning with solutions several times, and it won't go out. Also, I've used the water filter since day one. Guess I'll eventually go back to drip filter coffee maker for 20 dollars or so. Not going to waste all this money on a joke of a machine!
Hello, I’m wondering if you’ve ever tried the K Slim + Iced ? It still has only the 8, 10, 12 oz setting and no strong option… however it has the iced option which I’m assuming would make a stronger and smaller quantity. Not sure. Please let me know if you’ve tried it! I’d like to know if this would redeem the machine. I use 4-6 oz strong on my old keurig to make iced coffee. But my machine finally died and I’m looking to upgrade. I like the design and price of this and the mini plus, I know you prefer the plus however I hate the idea of filling that up every single use 😭
What a pita. How hard is it to make a coffee cup? You would think Keurig would have it figured out by now. I was thinking of making the leap to keurigs but I think I'll just stick to my faithful coffee pot.

I bought it a while back and finally descaled it. I then wanted to change the filter, and then I was like oh, it don't have a filter.... I'm lazy, so one less thing to worry about. I am going back to drip coffee though, bought a old fashion mr. coffee one for $20
This is my first Keurig and I wanted something slim and quick for my crazy busy mornings at home and my limited camper counter space on vacation so it fills that role nice. I also like the bigger reservoir that I don't have to fill after every cup. It does feel cheap and has limited options but they weren't something I was used to before and therefore, don't miss, but I can see the drawbacks (like yelling at you for more water when there is clearly plenty) if you want more flexibility.
My daughter gifted me this K Slim model. Unfortunately, it was not make a hot cup of coffee.🙁

Don't worry, the 12oz setting will only give you 4 oz.

What type of water filter handle does it take?
It takes the Tall water filter handle. I just bought a K-slim along with the filters and handle.
K slim do u recommend any other on close to ot or that makes a decent cup of coffee
