In this video I’ll be reviewing the Samsung Galaxy Chromebook 2 360 and seeing if it’s still worth considering in 2024.
The exact model I have is XE525QEA / XE525QEA-KB1UK (UK model) and XE525QEA-KB1US (US model) and as you’ll see in the video this has the optional LTE connectivity and 128GB storage, over the non-LTE models with 64GB storage. All models have the 12.4 inch WQXGA IPS Display (2560 x 1600 resolution), 4GB RAM and the Intel Celeron N4500 processor. The model without the LTE option is: XE520QEA / XE520QEA-KB1UK (UK model) and XE520QEA-KB1US (US model).

You're welcome! Samsung have had a bit of an odd run of Chromebooks but I'm really interested to see what comes next in 2024 from them, hopefully I'll have more to share.

Thank you! Yeah, quite niche use cases for this one in 2024 and very price sensitive. At the right price could still be great for that light user who will benefit from the great screen, convertible form factor and optional LTE connectivity on this Chromebook.
honestly i wouldnt buy anything with an Celeron inside
For a single light user the Celeron N4500 is the oldest processor I feel OK to recommend for comparison to alternatives in 2024 in a Chromebook - updates to June 2031 is still very reasonable, but as I say in the video the price has to be right (for the little I paid it was a bargain - ruclips.net/video/1dPPZDTxbTc/видео.html) and the competition needs to be considered as there will nearly always be a better option, especially with this Lenovo available - ruclips.net/video/nc6RMm7Z9JQ/видео.html Just a shame Samsung didn't go for the Pentium Silver N6000 of the same generation as this Celeron N4500, I think it would have given it the performance edge more inline with the display it's running.
@@MergeDroid yeah an pentium silver would have been alot better. And heard about the release of the Pixel 8a?
@Oxide53115 let's see what Samsung bring us in 2024. As for the Pixel 8a, yes, looks decent to me. Seen it's getting similar comments as the 7/7a last year, in that for the price just get the regular 8, but I think we'll have to see what discounts and deals become available on the 8a. I'm still running my 7a, wouldn't mind an 8 or 8a but will likely be waiting for the 9/9a before I look to upgrade.
