You did excellent work I would have come back but with some major price adjustments for that lady don’t blame you for not coming back though I’ve had a couple of clients like that I learned from a contractor early in my construction career to try to weed out those types it’s hard to see them coming sometimes commenting on part 3
This look is good although I don’t like the grass , I wouldn’t have left it plain, at least a seal, I can’t see it handling a delivery truck , all those weak points, corners, very good skills, although it needs strength improvements in design, each one of those slabs is not connected, instead of grass, polished stone in grout 20mm lower, colour & seal concrete.
Still gonna have grass and weeds coming up from the edges of the turf. And I would almost put money on one or more sections becoming uneven at some point.
I have very little knowledge of concrete, but have seen quite a few jobs done in my life time. I have never seen anyone put plastic down. What would that be for?
@@OdellCompleteConcrete The only thing that could stop it from working would be if the owners don't have the time to upkeep it. Corsican mint, thyme or Irish moss is also viable.
Impeccable work! But I visually find the diagonal layout butt ugly and would prefer a straight on square or rectangular pattern. And respectfully, I can't understand why Channel RUclipsrs find the need to include trash obnoxious music over time lapse or any of their great work and upload content. There's barely a ten second stretch of appealing available RUclips elevator garbage backround music worthy of accompanying your content that just silent time lapse would be far better and not blow out speakers and most human eardrums. So that's my opinion as a subscriber and still always love your work and content.😇

And just like that, the house has depreciated in value by over $80k. I would laugh my realtor out of a job if they showed me a house with this ridiculous driveway. My first thought is what it will cost to rip that out and put in a nice driveway.

Seems to me....the maintenance especially with cars rolling over it or sitting on it leaking fluids now and again would be a daunting task.
Sealer will solve that on any type concrete.
Turf may need replacement every 10 years
Or, change the grass for rocks in the future.

They looked like steel nails going into the turf which will rust and rot. Should be using galvanise nails. Apart from that great job.
