It's an amazing set I've only just sold mine on but was an amazing set plus can confirm was sold in Australia.
You could try the adding heat technique to restote the original colours. Test it on something you don't mind going wrong. There are videos i believe.
As a kid I went from Brio to Hornby so it's cool to finally see this stuff.
