Some things get better with age and one of those things is voices! The Osmonds here singing a medley of their most famous hits sound a lot better than they did back in the seventies. Their voices are richer with more character. The song keys have been transposed several semi-tones lower but their voices are like fine wine here. These are also some of the finest pop songs ever written.
This 58 year old still gets excited to watch these wonderful true entertainers now as I did in my childhood and teenage years. I had the pleasure of seeing Donny and Marie in their Vegas Show at the Flamingo in 2014. FANTASTIC!

Merrill and Jay basically called it a career on October 14, 2019 when they appeared on the tv show “The Talk” for Marie Osmond’s 60th birthday. It was announced as their final time performing. The end of an era.
If EVER I feel down and blue, all I have to do is watch The Osmonds on youtube and I too have a huge grin on my face, tears streaming down my cheeks and the blues are gone.

I love them so much. I love the whole family and I will listen to them the day I die. They are the most talented mostgracious and talented people in the world.

I went to their concert in Glasgow (50th Anniversary) It was fantastic, I had my 2 daughters with me, but I was heart broken when I saw Alan. The last time I saw them was in the Apollo, I think was 1974/75, not 100% sure of the date. I guess we all age with time, my friends who love The Osmond's are all in their 60s now. It was a bit of nostalgia though! Brillient!

The osmonds were my first real group i loved in the 70s my late mum used buy me all posters and magazines with them in i miss her so much you only get one mum i miss you mum the osmonds were part of my life i used to buy the imports from hmv in 1974 my favourite lp was my best to you donny osmond and paper roses by marie osmond thank you the osmond family for my memories
The latest news I’ve seen (as of 8/6/2019) is that he’s fairly healthy and enjoying life. This is not his first stroke - he had his first one 16 years ago - so whether he ever performs again is up in the air.
This song has a different meaning to me. I am divorced and still haven't gotten over her. She passed away 3 days after my birthday. I wish I was there.
I love the Osmonds soooooo much, and Ive been very lucky to have met all the brothers and many of their wives and children...and I have to say every one of them have taken time to talk and have photos taken with me and I really feel like they are my friends and I think thats what make them soooo special..they love the fans as much as we love them. xxxxx
as far I understand, it really was classed as a top secret appearance, and at the time, no one knew that the Brothers would be appearing. think its true to say, it was even a lovely suprise for even the most devoted fan. Think I remember alot of "wish they'd have known" comments, but obviously it had to be kept "under wraps"(secret) because it was a suprise for the Queen!

It's not aging. He has Multiple Sclerosis.
I know he has MS. He still looks older from the first time I saw him. I know what MS is because I have too!
