I'm surprised at the low stock of raw lumber they have on hand. Tom has said in other shop tour videos that they are exceedingly picky about the wood they source though. My build should be completed this month, if they're running on schedule. She'll be the second Anderson I've owned. I find it a bit shocking how they can turn out such stunningly perfect instruments in such a cluttered workshop. Eccentric genius woodworkmen at work, ha. The Fender Custom Shop floor isn't any better though, lol. PRS has one of the more fastidious operations here in the States that I've seen. Not a fair comparison, granted. Anyway, thanks for the factory tour video. I can binge-watch this genre of guitar-related videos all day.
Genius at work for sure. Stock of wood is down to a science, hand selected and no more on hand than what is needed. One of, if not the most efficient guitar factories around.
