Was Tuomas laughing at Emppu after he messed up the solo. lol Must have been payback for that time Emppu was laughing at him when he messed up his keyboard solo in Shudder Before The Beautiful. 😄

People, please put your phones away, apart from being incredibly rude to the artists, it is annoying if you are standing behind someone who has their blaring lights through their phone, and the sound will be shitty but seriously folks, take a pic or two if you must, but just live in the moment and enjoy the music and let others do the same. Just sayin.

@@ebbenielsen7 Isn't that just the result of the mixing on the Wacken recording? I mean choral elements that follow the melody of the vocals are barely audible throughout the whole concert, as far as I remember. And this one is recorded with a phone. Dynamics and levels are all over the place.
First time in my life I see Emppu playing the solo wrongly. He was doing something to the guitar before he started playing. This solo is not complicated so I prefer to think he experience something with the instrument. Anyway they are still humans and can fail one in a million.

I think def string or tuning proplem. The notes were not in the right key and some of it sounded like loose string or broken and trying to replace or tighten.. Tho I only played guitar for 6 months some time back so could be he ducked it, but i think not.

I loved the solo going wrong. I've never seen Emppu muck anything up. The magic of live performances.
It's king emppu ladies and gentlemen. Even when he completely f's up a solo he does so with style and emotion like no one else

You are right. For instance at 3:07 + 3:36 there is an upper voice that is not heard in the recording from Wacken.
