Beautiful young ox. I've always heard highlands were a bit stubborn, but your guy looks great. I have a Brown Swiss single ox. He is sweet tempered, huge, strong, but slow.

Should put a rubber end cap on the pokie thing. Ball shaped in different colours will make everyone go: ahhh, how cute.

From Oban Scotland first time Ive seen anyone making use of these beautiful beasts other than tourists taking pictures of them-looking good well done! Give my regards to Hector Scotlands too hot for him these days...Angus

Why the need of an uncomfortable wooden yoke? Jus right there on its hair- skin.
Another stuff could be more suitable and easier to pull or bare at last.
    Highland cattle are very nice

I do admire the use of the cow instead of killing it. Coulda loaded 'im up a bit more. A tractor would be essentially useless in this situation. Even an offroad vehicle.

@@judy3460 Have you given a cow your attention and care before? They drink 30 gallons of water a day... they're better off making compost and managing property!
