Absolutely love it!!!! Thanks for sharing!
Thanks for watching! Cheers BM
Pro tip : you can watch series at InstaFlixxer. I've been using it for watching loads of movies during the lockdown.
@Alessandro Daniel yea, have been using InstaFlixxer for since december myself :D
Severe noise hazard ??? No, music to my ears !!!
Spot on Michael !
pure
Very fantastic footage 🤩
The F18 is such an attractive aircraft, unlike the F35 which just looks like some sort of bloated fish.
Sadly true Rosie but we had better get used to seeing more bloated fish in the future!
@@NigelWoolleyaviation I dont get that, I think the f35 looks far superior than all aircraft. Hmm weird.
@@Bbouy1HD Fair call as we each have own thoughts on aircraft looks. For me it just has an extra large fuselage compared to other sleek fighters despite it's obvious superiority. Thanks for watching and commenting.
@@NigelWoolleyaviation I literally think the f18 classic hornet might be one of the ugliest American fighters ever. Superhornet is better. But F35 is by the sleekest and cleanest with best shape and looks the best on ground and in air. F22 is number 1 overall though
@@Bbouy1HD I'll come around to liking the 35's and totally agree about the Raptor factor.
Great stuff,Nigel,love the variety!!
Hi John and thanks. It was refreshing to see such a range of aircraft at one base rather than only 1-2 types.
Great video, looks like its good for spotting!
Absolutely good for spotting 👍
Kool. Was that a classic hornet??? We still flying those????
Yes Paul it was a classic Hornet and whilst the RAAF are still flying some classics their days are numbered as you suggest. Super Hornets at RAAF Amberly will soon be our only Hornet versions.
Awesome.....Thanks Nigel....How you doing my friend ?....Lt. Shoe...Axel over and out....!
Yes sir Lieutenant! I'm well and hopefully the same for you Steve. Let's keep acclimatising the new world we are dealing with. Cheers
Excellent video! Well done!!!
Thanks GF and happy YouTubing yourself too!
You've got a good job, Nigel
Wish it was my job Alex but happy for the passion with military aircraft. Cheers!
Sweet!
The F-35 needs sexier landing gear. It's pretty boring compared to an F-16 or F/A-18. It needs something that's got some flex in it.
Nigel, nice video, do you have special access or is this all over the fence?
All over the fence Steve. Cheers
How many individual F-35A's did you observe actually flying, that day?
Good question as I'm not a recorder of aircraft movements/registrations plus some of this footage was over a few days. Each time I have visited Williamtown the F-35s have taken off in the morning with anything between three to six F-35A's at least (and occasional more) and similar numbers in the afternon session. Whether they were the same aircraft I don't know but with at least thirty F-35A's based there there is always a chance to see plenty of the Lightning II's.
Those Hawks with the big nose and wing tip rails kinda ruin them for me. But, like they say, military aircraft is not to be pretty, but efficient, so...
I agree Magoid...... but you have to keep in mind that the extended nose is perfect space for pilots to take their lunch, thermos, folding chair and sun shade! 🙃
Mmmm is this pritty normal or a bit of a step up in training
Hi Helix. The F-35s, Hawks, PC-21's, Wedgetails and a few remaining F-18's being based there were doing their usual morning and afternoon flights during the days I was there. The other aircraft visiting Williamtown were recorded over several days so they are not daily users of the airbase. Thanks for watching. Cheers

Those F35 are ugly ungainly looking things with their wheels out.
JSF ugly I agree But these people that buy a house nearby and then complain about aircraft noise? Morons!
Yeah the f35 is ugly
F-35s so ugly.
