I’ve attended many concerts in my long life. Huey and The News was the best, hands down. Their musicianship, skill and enthusiasm are unparalleled so sad that they will tour no more due to Huey’s health.
I saw them do this at a concert at the California State Fair grounds. It was one I hadn’t heard them do before, and I LOVED it! It turns me into a puddle of butter every time I hear them sing a capella❤
It's also so great to hear a male band covering a girl group song (the Shirelles made this famous in 1961, if you can believe it). Huey & the boys were beyond musical--and plenty of fine attention to vocals and harmony.
Sometimes it’s hard to pick out one harmony line in a recording. But I can hear Chris Hayes pretty well in this one. His harmony line is subtle but his voice is so lovely 😊
A cappella brings out the awesome talent of Huey Lewis and the News. They do it so well.
What an outstanding group. Pure talent.
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤LOVE HUEY & THE BOYS!!!❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
One of the most under rated bands.
God I love Huey Lewis and the News. What other band could seamlessly blend new wave, rock n roll, and doo wop harmonies together like this?

Love this! I've told my family I want this played at my funeral. No tears, I want people to dance their way out of the church.
