The RG line is pretty good! It's the perfect mixture of both the HG and MG series, and what appeals to me the most with these kits are the level of detail on them along with their size being manageable. I've been holding off the wing zero custom unable to decide between the MG or RG version and this vid is definitely helping me lean more to the RG type, thanks!
I just started building and what I plan on doing is cutting the face of the box and putting it in a binder with the manual in one of those clear single sleeves. I saw it on reddit, really cool idea.
hi Gunpla Meli, I really love the way how you do reviews with this kit. It's clear and very Clear. Wide in my ears as I hear you say step by step, Compared others you're so soft that I can understand well..More reviews please..:)
Hi Gunpla Meli! I'm a returning Gunpla builder and for my first Gundam for this month is the Full Mechanics Barbatos Lupus Rex! I love the Wing Gundam endless waltz too...more power fellow gunpla builder 😍
I have this model too and yes the plastic is very soft. After three years the joint of the backwing just snapped off. Its my favorite gundam so i hope i can repair it.
Hi meli, just started building Gundam, I’ve known about these models, but recently just got a few ,and love the look of them, and will be getting the Gundam wing zero EW
I recently picked up building mecha models as a hobby, I'm currently working on my first one it's a wing gundam Ver Ka. I've built the arms, legs, and upper body, I still have the waist and other minor pieces to attach until I complete it finally. I find building these models quite fun, also I find it funny I have big fingers, and it's quite a challenge to handle each part with care. I messed up the head of Wing Gundam, but it will do for now, until I get better working more on these models. Nice collection you have!
i hate getting rid of my Transformers packages too. iI figured out a trick. Get a baseball card (of similar) and i use it as a template to cut a card size piece of the artwork out. I even got a corner rounding punch from a craft store. They look like actual collector cards and I can keep them in a binder.
I just got the real grade kit, the only other real grade I built has been EVA Unit-001 and so far I've found RG fall. Apart a lot lol, I had to super glue the entire chest pieces together on the EVA and parts of the arm, making sure to not cement the motion in place, just to get it on it's platform took me 20+ minutes without it falling apart lol, the torso and legs seem to be sturdy on these, everything else Is for display purpose only lol
Gundam wing zero model is always beautiful I've always loved it since it came out in the series beautifully I love the zero wing model and its details😉
I actually think that RGs are good for beginners, mainly because I think they look the best just straight out of the box. They take less effort to make them look good on the shelf. They also prep beginners for dealing with inner frames for when they move on to MGs
First vid that I see of yours that actually on the gundam instead if you, G gundam and gundam wing are the only two I like, most of the time just here to see you and support your vids. Great vid keep it up, a Dios😊
Wing Zero was my first MG and RG kits. He's going to be my first PG, which I'll build once I get the courage to build a Perfect Grade. 😁 I bought the Seraphim effects stand for this kit and it looks amazing!
The Seraphim Feather stand is what sold me on getting one of these a few weeks ago. I am working on my first build right now, a Real Grade 00 QAN[T], and was looking around online for something that could be my eventual second build. I figured it would probably be one of the RG Wing suits (Wing Zero, Wing, or Tallgeese) or maybe the RG Red Astray. When I saw the Seraphim Feather base and saw how good Wing Zero looked on it though, I immediately bought the kit and base. I'm really looking forward to finishing up this 00 QAN[T] so I can start on this suit.
@@nicholaseskridge82 I heard that the 00 QAN[T] is a good kit, but I haven't decided if I want it. I knew that my first RG kit would be Wing Zero, but when I sae the Seraphim base, I pre-ordered one on that day. It looks amazing! The feathers can be organized and posed in whatever way you choose, and it comes with a double sided background to put on the base. It's definitely a must have for the Wing Zero kit.
This 00 kit is my first kit since the early-2000's when I hastily built some HG Wing and G kits. I'm treating this as my first build since it is the first build I'm serious about and taking my time with. So I can't really compare it to anything else, but I like it a lot. I think it looks really good and it has been fun to assemble. I haven't really ran into anything too difficult with it. The RG inner frame has blown me away with how pose-able a gunpla kit can be, especially compared to those cheap HG kits from years ago that were stiff with little articulation. It looked like impressions of it were pretty favorable too when I bought it; I was at a game store for board game night and no one showed up, so I started looking at the gunpla kits while bored and thinking that maybe I could buy one to assemble at work on night shift. They had an MG Dynames, this RG 00 QAN[T], a Full Armor Unicorn kit that I think is an MG, and then a bunch of HG kits that I didn't really consider. I looked for reviews of the 00 and it seemed like a good buy. Plus I watched all of 00 earlier this year at work and liked the show well-enough, so I figured the kit would be nice to have. Wing Zero will be up next, with the base. After that I'm not sure what I'll go with. The RG Red Astray, RG Tallgeese, RG Wing (non-Zero), MG Epyon, RG Strike Freedom, and MG Dynames are all on my list for consideration. I'd like to get all of them at some point but I'm trying to take things slow and not jump into the hobby too fast.
The MG Epyon is beautiful! I have that one, too. I'm a huge Wing fan, so most of my kits are Wing kits. If you want to ease back into the hobby, I suggest going with some HG kits to sharpen up your skills. I recommend the Build Strike Full Package. It's a great kit to start with, and affordable. Comes with some good gimmicks and accessories and because it's a newer HG, the articulation is pretty good. Actually, you can't go wrong with any of the Revive HG kits.
Hi, would you mind sharing what kind of rotating base it is that you're using? I've been looking for a decent one but haven't found one that has an acceptable price to quality ratio for me.
Hey Meli I haven't watched the vid but is this RG better than the HG? I think the HG has no inner skeleton frame like the RG, and the RG i think has more gimmicks, articulations etc (based on my first RG kit). But the problem with RG for me are that the parts are way too fragile and delicate.. I guess I just need to take care more. But bottomline, RG or HG wing zero? Cuz I know I'll get the ver ka for the MG if I can afford it.
Wing Zero Custom MG was my first Gundam build. Gundam Wing was my intro to the Gundam uni back when it showed on cartoon network. I would rank my favs Wing Zero Custom, Freedom, Unicorn then Barbatos Lupus Rex
I just got the master grade Gundam wing zero custom ver ka I already have this mobile suit that your reviewing it's a great build though the ver ka dose transform into a jet plane well two different jet modes your model can only wrap the wings around the zero the ver ka can do that aswell
i got the RG Wing Zero EW kit to and that kit is a fittaky gunpla and got it in a old collector card container for right now in till i can displayed at some point in time and i recommend keeping an eye on it, those feathers will get loose at some point and also don't put the beam saber hilts in the wing connectors, cause i broke one of the pegs on mine.
I have a RG Red Frame I did recently. Great articulation but pieces have a tendency to fall off. The thumb or pointer finger tends to come off when closing the fingers around something. I have begun using super glue on certain pieces that I have found tend to come off and have no reason to come off again. I want to start looking into some type of material to use at ball joints to strengthen them to stay in place better and still get articulation from them.
I actually have this one as a gift for my birthday last year and it was my first and possibly only RG. It's a good kit, though the wings are pretty backheavy without a stand, but the wings are useful to use as a support. Some joints need some tighten a bit as it loosens overtime.
I built the MG Wing gundam Zero EW, I really like it, im now building me second kit, and it is the MG 1/100 Gundam AGEII, and I have a third kit for after I build that one, and it is the MG 1/100 HeavyArms
I don't know if I have to be excited or disappointed 'cause I got it yesterday as a birthday gift. I love Wing Gundam alot, but... As a RG I can't say anything good except it looks amazing! Wish i got the MG instead... Still great overall!
This set looks pretty dope, Meli. Never actually saw Wing Zero but it looks pretty cool from what i can tell. I'm usually all about the classics, (And IBO) currently watching Mobile Suit Gundam: Origin, which also looks pretty litty at the moment, learning more about the Zeon and the Zabi. (no spoilers please i just started) I'm absolutely, freaking, astounded by the Gunpla collection and memorabilia as well, keep up the awesome work. :) Edit: its nice to know someone else who listens to Lakey Inspired too. Some of these songs are in my my SoundCloud playlist. New Sub Btw ^_^
My wife helped me build this kit. She was on the nippers and i was putting all the pieces together. For some reason, the backpack is extremely loose and falls off the back of Wing Zero, every time i adjust the wings. Krazy glue is an option, but i would much rather not have to use it. Any suggestions?
Nice Job - very honest review - showing us some of the Headaches that we all get from trying to pose our gunpla😆- thank you 🙏 - keep up the great work:) also will be downloading APP
The detail on the RG version is really nice, but honestly the MG version holds up well for its age. It came out in 2004 but it has fantastic articulation and balance. I'll pick this one up eventually just because I love building RGs, but the MG is just such a champ.
i have that kit it's really nice kit but the only problem on rg kit it have some loose plus soft parts , when its comes to do some poses u can do it on rg wing zero especially the famous shooting pose i have trouble doing that pose but a little patience i just finally put it
The one that make me dissapointed is about the snapping hole on the mechanical arm doesn't fit with the twin buster rifle, but works fine with beam sabre. How bout yours?
Awesome review & build. The RG line is just to finicky for me personally. Master Grade / High Resolution is where its at. It would be cool if you hitup the Hi-Res Astray Red kit & review. Its amazing.
The Endless Waltz designs are apparently smaller kits all around; the old HG Fighting Action kits were TINY - I still have my Deathscythe-Hell Custom; even the already tiny HG Universal Century Zeta Gundam (2017 edition) is taller than that. The MG kits seem like they're about on par with typical HGUC kits in terms of size, they're definitely smaller than typical MG kits (the MG Zaku II S and the MG Zeta Gundam are both way bigger). Not sure at all about the old HG 1/100 kits, as I never had the chance to get them, but I don't think that they're as big as the likes of the regular series Gundam Wing kits (I had the HG 1/100 Gundam Deathscythe) or even the HG 1/100 God Gundam/Burning Gundam from G Gundam...those were some big boys!! And as for Perfect Grade...I'll never know, I only had Wing ZEROCustom but was never able to get it finished due to several missing parts in the box. It does, however, seem like it would be smaller than the PG Zeta Gundam... And I had a fun time building the MG version of Wing ZEROCustom. It was Wing Gundam ver.Ka that gave me fits!! Granted, it's just a retool & repaint, but I had to sacrifice some of ZERO's foot components from the right foot to complete Wing...yup, missing parts AGAIN. However, I like Wing ver.Ka more overall. 🤷🤷🤷
I was considering buying this, exia, qant or 00raiser This one pose review... Idk man Can someone help me on which one is worth it pls 😙noticemesenpai😙
Exia first, he has good pose on many angle. Very fun to assembly and the weapon make you more excited because special like chrome coating. And after you finish exia you can go next for qant, wing ew and 00 raiser.
Hey guys any idea where she gets her display cabinets from? I m new to this channel but I have a Zaku II sniper w big gun from Gundam Thunderbolt December Sky I want to display properly

Awesome 😊❤️❤️
So gorgeous 😘
Hi crush
hello Meli
"Something fell off again."
*laughs in RG*
The RG Exia is the only RG that never let me down at all
Gundam Wing has always held a sweetspot in my heart..the series reintroduced me to Gundam growing up. Nice to see it reviewed.
Meli, ripped the back pack. Meli needs to learn to control her Strength. Clearly to buff for gunpla
That's not "bazooka rifle thing"
that's the Epic Twin buster Rifle :D
And I Have one of this at home.. that's really cool
Satria Pratama It was cool
the way the wing zero holds it
while destroying the bunker
busty rifle
The RG line is pretty good! It's the perfect mixture of both the HG and MG series, and what appeals to me the most with these kits are the level of detail on them along with their size being manageable. I've been holding off the wing zero custom unable to decide between the MG or RG version and this vid is definitely helping me lean more to the RG type, thanks!
The RG is definitely the best choice of the two. I had the MG before and it became very flimsy in the wings over time. The RG is solid as a rock
I just started building and what I plan on doing is cutting the face of the box and putting it in a binder with the manual in one of those clear single sleeves. I saw it on reddit, really cool idea.
You keep rocking these videos!! So happy to see your channel is crushing it. Love building RG’s.
Yes finally i was so looking forward to this one, wing zero will always be my favorite. I agree meli the design is so perfect.
Wing Zero Custom will always be my favorite Gundam. I only got the Master Grade for it
Get the RG :)
I definitely will! It’ll be so much fun! >u
Mine is Victory Dash, it's my first gunpla (1/144) and very nostalgic to me. Looking forward to getting the MG KA Version of him :)

hi Gunpla Meli, I really love the way how you do reviews with this kit. It's clear and very Clear. Wide in my ears as I hear you say step by step, Compared others you're so soft that I can understand well..More reviews please..:)
i didnt expect to find this RG kit in Hobby Lobby and i love it and its also my second RG kit
I love that big Red Zaku at your background.. looks awesome!
That collage sounds awesome!
Same thought dude ✌
Hi Gunpla Meli! I'm a returning Gunpla builder and for my first Gundam for this month is the Full Mechanics Barbatos Lupus Rex! I love the Wing Gundam endless waltz too...more power fellow gunpla builder 😍
Gunpla Meli a week makes my day... Saves alot money before I buy a new Gundam. 💓💓💓
I have this model too and yes the plastic is very soft. After three years the joint of the backwing just snapped off. Its my favorite gundam so i hope i can repair it.
I forgot how much I loved Wing. I gotta go back and rewatch 😄
Zero has always been my favourite Gundam!
this kit was my 3rd rg kit and i thoroughly enjoyed assembling it!
Ah gundam wing, the one that started it for me. I remember those days watching Toonami 😂
Just Wild Beat
Just bought this guy for my first kit. Super excited

Gundam wing zero model is always beautiful I've always loved it since it came out in the series beautifully I love the zero wing model and its details😉
I love this! I got the RG and its clear version! Best purchase!
my friend told me that if you cut the box cover, you can fold it up into a smaller box a quarter of tge size. might help woth you torage issues
I actually think that RGs are good for beginners, mainly because I think they look the best just straight out of the box. They take less effort to make them look good on the shelf. They also prep beginners for dealing with inner frames for when they move on to MGs

THIS KIT IT ACURATED IN ANIME'S DESIGN, I LIKE IT, THANK YOU MELI.

Idk if I have time to do every kit but ill try!
GREAT QUESTION!!!
MAY I HELP AND SPEED UP THE PROCESS ALILBIT??
My favorite gundam of all time. One day I shall get 1!!!
Where can i find a platform like the one you display your Gunpla?
Does it has cockpit and pilot figure?
Yea
Awesome review. Im really considering of buying this one.
the box collage is a great idea, I might do it myself. Gundam Wing is one of my favorite. Cheers
Nice build I just add a wing zero to my mech collection but customized it with real wings
The detail on the RG version is really nice, but honestly the MG version holds up well for its age. It came out in 2004 but it has fantastic articulation and balance.
I'll pick this one up eventually just because I love building RGs, but the MG is just such a champ.
If you don't already, try the Wing Gundam version KA Master Grade and see how you like the two. Personally, I prefer the KA version.
OH YES!!! ZERO MY BOY!! I love this!
Wing zero is awesome i have the perfect grade and the action figure that was released with tallgeese
im ordering this right now it will be my 2nd gunpla. :D
Hi meli nice review...do you also have the high res version of this? I mean like the PG one? 😊
The GUNDAM LIFE I love it
what would you recommend to tighten the ball joints?
i have that kit it's really nice kit but the only problem on rg kit it have some loose plus soft parts , when its comes to do some poses u can do it on rg wing zero especially the famous shooting pose i have trouble doing that pose but a little patience i just finally put it
Have you thought of painting up certain joint pieces that droop down?
Mission accepted . Gundam wing forever
I might have to pick this boy up after this video. I especially like the RG review since that's what I've kept buying as of late.
Well presented and fair review of a great looking kit
I was considering buying this, exia, qant or 00raiser
This one pose review...
Idk man
Can someone help me on which one is worth it pls
😙noticemesenpai😙
Exia first, he has good pose on many angle. Very fun to assembly and the weapon make you more excited because special like chrome coating.
And after you finish exia you can go next for qant, wing ew and 00 raiser.
It would be a pain to do but what if you used the box art to make a collage behind your cases?
I built the PG version of this... One of my best models :)
i just got this today and so many pieces just wont stay on its ridiculous. this will most likly be my first and only RG.
The master grade was also my first kit when I was 12 both the quality of the kit and my build ability put me off for 13 years lol
Brilliant kit...I hope they give us alot more Wing suits....Epyon RG would be on my list...
Hey guys any idea where she gets her display cabinets from? I m new to this channel but I have a Zaku II sniper w big gun from Gundam Thunderbolt December Sky I want to display properly
They are detolf from ikea
best looking gundam
