The look on Whoopi's face whenever he is telling a story is so adorable.
Whoopi is someone who truly loves and respects Sir Patrick. Their friendship is very strong. Every time they are together the dynamic behind them is just so perfect.

I've been listening to his autobiography on DVD when I'm out making deliveries and it really is terrific. It has the same quality he has when he's being interviewed on a show like this - an enormously likeable, intelligent presence who's lead an interesting life, and someone you'd be happy to hang out with.

The only reason I watch clips of the view is to hear Whoopi gush about her time on the next generation. And any time he pops up on the show. The rest of those ladies who have come and gone are all crazy bats. But that’s the allure of the show. It’s just heartwarming to see how much Whoopi loves Patrick. Doesn’t have a single bad thing to say about the man.

Normal for actors to be very serious. A frequent challenge of the Brady Bunch, because Robert Reed was a classically trained actor as well, and didn’t go along with the show being centered or pivoted around comedy. He wanted to do serious dramatic roles, as he was trained to do.
