you'd have to build a huge canopy over the vaporization pits to catch the water, to reuse it for the next batch, in that way you could reduce the amount of water you take from the environment to do so...but idk the process ....but its something that could help

Of course in some applications it will be replaced, but always ..., there will always be other applications. But in the Batteries ..., I doubt it ..., because the world car industry is pouring all its effort and "Billions" of dollars into Lithium. Maybe 200 years from now, but I have no plans to be here and worry

That Bolivian lithium factory was obviously built by someone other than the Bolivian government and it looks like a skeleton crew of workers there, for the size of the operation. Originally, private industry was set up to mine and process their lithium, but then their President decided to take advice from the president of Venezuela, and he nationalized the mine, as Venezuela did with their oil industry. Good luck with that policy.
