you'd have to build a huge canopy over the vaporization pits to catch the water, to reuse it for the next batch, in that way you could reduce the amount of water you take from the environment to do so...but idk the process ....but its something that could help

      Andy Smith,
That capitalist tale is older than humanity.
That was what they said to Bolivia, when it had a monopoly on the then strategic "tin metal". And Bolivia sold a pound for $ 0.50 ctv, instead of selling for 7 British pounds ($ 17.-). Bolivia, he ran out of tin and money and he was poorer than a rat ..., when his tin ran out.
However, tin is still important and irreplaceable and its price continued to rise through the roof.
MORALEJA: "..If you don't know the story, you'd better shut up ..!"

Currently Lithium has approximately 80 industrial applications and every day more applications
are found, because Lithium is an element that is just beginning to be incorporated into the industry.
Of course in some applications it will be replaced, but always ..., there will always be other applications.
But in the Batteries ..., I doubt it ..., because the world car industry is pouring all its effort and "Billions"
      of dollars into Lithium.
Maybe 200 years from now, but I have no plans to be here and worry

That Bolivian lithium factory was obviously built by someone other than the Bolivian government and it looks like a skeleton crew of workers there, for the size of the operation. Originally, private industry was set up to mine and process their lithium, but then their President decided to take advice from the president of Venezuela, and he nationalized the mine, as Venezuela did with their oil industry. Good luck with that policy.

Simon Boliva would be so very disappointed with South America's recent history.
So much potential. So much corruption.
One would think the people have suffered enough. But it never ends. Poor Bolivia.

      michael allen.,
Corruption is imported ... we Bolivians have an expression that reflects this situation:
Bolivia just wanted to imitate the American way of life, with all its risks such as:
..., ignore the electoral vote, complaints of fraud, bribes, Assault on Congress ..., etc, etc.
It's not our fault. We didn't want to be a republic of bananas anymore, we just wanted to be like you ...!

The Coup in Bolivia is not as bad as it seems. It's a country that can't develop or produce and grow, so USA will come in and help the world grow by taking what they can't extract. I know it sounds bad, because Bolivians won't be compensated, but the rest of the world will strive. For someone to gain something, somebody else needs to lose is, that is the law of Equivalent Exchange
