- Learn this fast and easy method for creating unique half-square triangles using Beth Helfter's Accordion Sewn HST Method! This is for week three of the Cheeky Churn Dash Quilt Along - details at kustomkwilter.com
I sqw this after watching Beth Helfter's tutorial, so glad to see it again with a much, much larger accordian than the one Beth demonstrated! I agree, I would not use a rotary cutter after putting all those squares together! thank you!
Isn't it such a fun method?
Very clear video, thank you. I will definitely use a ruler and rotary cutter to separate them though. Much faster.
good tutorial - but I would use SHARP shears/scissors to cut with one stroke/snip along the drawn diagonal line....
So cool!
It is! I love Beth's technique for scrappy HSTs!
I still don't know what projects I can make with this method. I enjoyed your video.
Pretty much any project with scrappy half square triangles! Here's an example: kustomkwilter.com/product/cheeky-churn-dash-pdf/
I would think that it would also be very very easy to cut off all the dog ears while still in a tube?!??!
