I liked Chicken little. I wish the dad wasn’t in the movie because chicken little is a fun and cute little guy, always working hard and a brave kid. Not for fighting aliens but for getting back up in this town of horrible of animation and persevering through bullying and not giving up. I would’ve been in the fettle position and a shut it.

It would be cool that Chicken Little came back for KH4 as another summoning, and seeing him in Zootopia with a cameo would be hilarious and sick as well.
You know, a lot of people like to bash this movie, but if you go into it seeing it for what it is - a weird movie that Disney made when they didn’t know what to do and were trying to be like Dreamworks - it’s actually an ok movie. And this opening sequence is the best
I honestly loved the original concept for the film with Chicken Little be a girl and coping with her social issues as well as physical ones. I think a lot of it bleeds into the overall product but it's definitely one of those films where I think there was truly and amazing film in the overall design that didn't see the light of day.
There was another movie that came out around this time that was trying to have that Dreamworks feel or be like Shrek. And that movie was "Hoodeinked." I forgot who made that but it a little bit better recieved than this. But not much. I guess after Shrek all these companies wanted to make animated movies or fairy tale adaptations to have that same feel to them. At least some.
It is kinda ironic that I'm the only one that enjoyed this movie and yet the bashers never bashed me for it even if I were to be called a fake fan instead, why is that? :/ Man, I should've went back to watching Paramount/Nickelodeon media, that way both Disney or DreamWorks' elitist-bases won't be around to bully me for enjoying this movie or The Wild anymore-
This. This is what it’s like to be Neurodivergent. Working a million times harder than everyone else and STILL ending up barely getting by. When I saw this scene for the first time at 10 years old, I bawled my eyes out. And any time I heard this song, I had the same reaction because I resonated with it so much. I am 27 years old now and only recently found out I was neurodivergent. My family punished me my entire life and I felt so misunderstood and like I didn’t belong anywhere. It’s crazy how one song can bring you right back to a certain time or headspace. Anyway. I’m so glad this exists on RUclips and that I was able to look at all the process I have made since then. Thank you, random OP. And ty BNL for an honest to god BOP 🙏🏼
i am neurodivergent too with autism and savant skills. yeah i feel that way too like I'm not understood kinda an outcast and some things are very hard for me so I have to get creative and kinda "fake it til you make it"
It's pretty dam relatable the more you have struggles in life through factors that you don't feel are faults of your own. I really commend Chicken Little for that and I do feel like some in the future might end up finding Chicken Little's overall adventure to be very important in the long run. I don't think it's an amazing film but it does have deep themes with scenes like this.
I can never forget this underrated and epic piece of nostalgia. As part of my childhood, the moments are so unforgettable and it changed me forever. And also, today is a new day.
Same, it's too bad however that the hatebase of this movie full of classic 2D Disney purists and DreamWorks elitists still runs rampant so that the hatebase was also the reason why I'd have to focus on Paramount/Nickelodeon content for now on lmao.
@@alexglass2927 I think as a concept it could work, but the film imo focuses too much on the comedy and pop culture references (neither of which made me laugh personally) and not on Chicken Littles redemption arc. The most we get on updates is "he sucks, he continues to suck, and oh, he sucks" Even the baseball scene, which does redeem him, does nothing to advance the story. He does not use his baseball skills to stop the aliens, nor is it used to save Oakey Oaks. Its a satisfying filler, but sadly just filler... I think as a concept its great, and it has some fun moments, but you can tell its flawed. I loved the movie as a kid, so I have some nostalgic ties to it, but it dud not hold up well imo. (Opinion, not a fact, opinion!)
Chicken Little's intention is precisely to make a social criticism about the cruelty and ignorance of the people, the characters who live in that city are detestable purpose, the protagonist is bullying victim for a small thing , just to portray how cold our society can be. It is a film that talks about bullying , social exclusion, and parental neglect , society was not to be "nice " and " friendly " as it is a critical satire of the REAL WORLD . I 've never seen anyone saying that Dumbo is terrible, because of the bullying he suffers in the movie. Or saying that hates The Hunchback of Notre Damme by "mean spirit" who humiliate him at the festival of fools , because they understand that this is part ofthe film. Why criticize it when it happens to Chicken Little ?
Garotão Abobado Because none of that was intentional, Disney made this movie only because Dreamworks made Shrek. And this is DISNEY movie, there really isn't any room for child neglect and attempting to murder the main character.
"And this is DISNEY movie, there really isn't any room for child neglect and attempting to murder the main character." If you have this vision of Disney, then I think you do not know it very well, because Disney ALWAYS touched on such strong themes like this and even heavier, as I mentioned earlier, the situations Chicken Little goes through in the film, the protagonists of films like "The Hunchback of Notre Damme" and "Dumbo" ALSO pass. Disney always make social criticisms like this, ans ALWAYS portrays the cruelty of the real world in his films, they acctually did it recently in Zootopia.
What really annoyed me was how the father said "earn my love" at the end, when love had Nothing to do with it. It was about TRUST! Chicken Little mostly wanted his own father to BELIEVE him. Terrible.
Unironically one little mistake that you make in your school years can change how you are seen for the rest of your life until you move to another place. As someone who has graduated last year, I can say the song got everything right. Nobody forgets and everyone can be cruel. Be careful kids, don’t make any mistakes like me.

Fun fact. When i was a kid. I loved this song and intro so much. I payed to see it on Comcast On Demand so many times i had racked up a 80$ charge to my grandfathers credit card. They fixed it right away cause they saw i had only seen the first 5 minutes of the movie then stopped 😂
This song feels like it was composed by the filmmakers to voice their resentment for how the movie turned out. Like the theme song for Pinky, Elmyra and the Brain but a lot more subtle.
Ok seriously, does no one else think it seems wrong that Chicken Little bumped into that bull and ruined his work papers?!? From my perspective, the bull did absolutely NOTHING to deserve that, and here comes Chicken Little knocking his paper and not only that, but he returns the paper like a nice guy first, but changes to how an asshole would do it. Seriously!? What the fuck?!
Shotaro Ikaros i'm so glad i'm not the only who thinks that. and as chicken runs round the corner,he makes the ol' "oops sorry about that". that smug son of a bitch. one of the many reasons i hate this film now

I used to really like this movie as a kid. But when I look back at it now, I just think to myself "Why Disney?" This still brings back good memories though.
They were going to but when John Lasseter got the job as Chief Creative Executive of Disney in 2006 he ordered all new chapers to every Disney Movie not from Pixar to be cancelled and never allowed. He only allows new chapters to Pixar movies. This was why Chicken Little 2 among other new chapers such as Dumbo 2' Aristocats 2' 101 Dalmatians 3' Lady and the Tramp 3' etc are no more.
@@moatguy that even Disney bought Pixar in 2006 to replaced cancellation Monster Inc 2, Toy Story 3 (original idea), Finding Nemo 2 and maybe A Bug’s Life 2 sadly it was scrapped. It was going be made without Pixar using Circle 7 Animation
I remember the drive back home from the cinema after watching this with my parents, I remember my mom carrying me cuz I fell asleep in the car, I remember the warm sheets I was lying in bed thinking about how cool this movie was and humming this song slowly falling asleep. what I wouldn’t give to relive that night just one more time
This song makes me remember toy story 2 and all the other good animations that were made and it felt like we were all in an hallway of noon light falling on all of the characters
Little chicken was my favorite movie like 15 years agi. I can not describe how hard the nostalgia hits rn. And i relate the song too much as i keep fucking up so many things in my life like academia, empoleyement, relationships etc. the song just made me cry... actually i cry too much these days i hope everythings gonna be okay but kinda starting to feel like it's not
i had Chicken little Over the hedge Open season Nemo Ice age Scooby doo and Madagascar playing none stop growing up. so many memories. real ones remember chicken little and over the hedge on the original xbox. put many hours on those games.
I absolutely love this song💗 The lyrics are just so fun to sing. It popped in my head today, and a million other days too, but I only bothered to listen to it today. 😄😄😄
Yes, it's very funny how he tried to run as fast as possible to avoid people but when he arrived, he ended up in front of all the cheerleaders, made them scream, stole a pompom from them and possibly the formation collapsed.
Honestly? Every "bad" Disney film from early 2000's has at least some good/inventive/original things in it This scene and this song will never not be perfect
Oh yeah sure and y'all who are either born in the 80's or 90's think I'm not a real Disney fan for enjoying Disney movies in the 2000's like this just because I'm born in that year y'all hate so much🙄
The morals of this movie may have been awful in hindsight, but watching CL persevere and find his own way of getting by in a world that’s out to get him was very inspiring. Also this song is badass
It's not. This movie shows us the reality of our world being cruel and mean. But it also shows us that we gotta keep on fighting even if we fail because trying and failing is better than not trying at all. Chicken Little is real. And that's why people hate it. Because it tells you the ugly truth you don't want to hear. And most people get offended and miss the real message. Which is "This world sucks but let's still try and maybe it'll suck a little bit less."
@@SpiralPoliFemboy it’s not the portrayal of society that makes the morals awful, it’s the resolution. CL spends the whole film trying to probe himself to the shallow townsfolk for their acceptance and the supposed resolution comes when he finally does. He brushes off everything they did to him to indulge in his celebrity status. His dad, the man who could’ve shown the least bit of fatherly support, did nothing but perpetuate CL’s adversity in the home and got off Scott free. Cruel as the world may be, we shouldn’t be teaching kids to seek the approval of their abusers. If you aspire to be revered by shallow people than you will forever remain dependent on shallow people who will drop you like a hot potato as soon as you stop meeting their standards. Instead, the film should’ve ended with either the townsfolk learning how horrible they were and making an effort to change that or CL telling these abusive people to piss off once and for all.
@@nickdegugs7190 I mean I get what you're saying and you're right but at least it tried to be real. It got it wrong but it tried way more than any Disney movie ever did to teach a realistic moral.
Ok, as much as I hate this film, I kinda like this music. It manages to make me nostalgic for this film somehow. Maybe it’s the autumny atmosphere, maybe it’s the instruments used in the song, maybe it’s because I saw this film at 13 and then didn’t watched a Disney film on the big screen until Frozen, but something in there makes me feel that way.
0:11 subtitles: Foxy: Goosey, acorns. Goosey: Right here. Foxy: this is going to be good, (Sarcastically) oh look, the sky is falling! Have fun getting to school now!
Bro I absolutely loved this movie as a kid, I absolutely destroyed the DVD, I watched it so many times. I watched it again recently and while I think it’s a little overhated, this is by no means, a good movie. It’s a bad movie, but just because of my nostalgia for it I can’t hate this movie

@@theintrovertedaspie9095wasn’t hoodwinked wasn’t received when it came out due to its animation quality
@@mrmoviemanic1Chicken Little Dad: YEAH YOU SHOULD THOUGHT THAT EARLIER OR ELSE PEOPLE WOULDN’T HATE YOU
It is kinda ironic that I'm the only one that enjoyed this movie and yet the bashers never bashed me for it even if I were to be called a fake fan instead, why is that? :/
Man, I should've went back to watching Paramount/Nickelodeon media, that way both Disney or DreamWorks' elitist-bases won't be around to bully me for enjoying this movie or The Wild anymore-
I'm not autistic, but I have mental illnesses and can relate a lot to trying much harder than "normal" people just to feel normal and get by.
Almost everyone in this movie really REALLY hates Chicken Little

This is the most mean spirited Disney movie ever made. And yet it’s still one of my favorites.
Because it's _real._
Because it was real and taught you something important
This movie, tbh, is my guilty pleasure.
Is it weird that I find this movie charming and don't understand the hate
Nope. I like it too. 😁😁
The mean spirited is what annoyed me in the film where they bully the main protagonist, but I really enjoy everything else!!!

I think as a concept it could work, but the film imo focuses too much on the comedy and pop culture references (neither of which made me laugh personally) and not on Chicken Littles redemption arc. The most we get on updates is "he sucks, he continues to suck, and oh, he sucks"
Even the baseball scene, which does redeem him, does nothing to advance the story.
Nostalgia at its finest omg I remembered this while at school and wrote is down in my book to come home and listen to

1. This song
2. Buck Cluck memes
Yeah buck cluck meme are hilarious 😂
The scene with the REM song I enjoyed as well
Never thought they would make a theme song about my highschool years.
Ahhhhhh childhood memories. :)
GIVEAPUNCH I saw this Movie in high school
Chicken Little's intention is precisely to make a social criticism about
the cruelty and ignorance of the people, the characters who live in
that city are detestable purpose, the protagonist is bullying victim for
a small thing , just to portray how cold our society can be. It is a
film that talks about bullying , social exclusion, and parental neglect ,
society was not to be "nice " and " friendly " as it is a critical
satire of the REAL WORLD .
"And this is DISNEY movie, there really isn't any room for child neglect and attempting to murder the main character."
If you have this vision of Disney, then I think you do not know it very well, because Disney ALWAYS touched on such strong themes like this and even heavier, as I mentioned earlier, the situations Chicken Little goes through in the film, the protagonists of films like "The Hunchback of Notre Damme" and "Dumbo" ALSO pass.
Disney always make social criticisms like this, ans ALWAYS portrays the cruelty of the real world in his films, they acctually did it recently in Zootopia.
Daniel Hernandez Disney has always had touches of adult themes/serious topics in their movies tf are you talking about?
my childhood movie, idc about the critics but for me it was good for kids

***** yeah, I hate the father a lot
What really annoyed me was how the father said "earn my love" at the end, when love had Nothing to do with it. It was about TRUST! Chicken Little mostly wanted his own father to BELIEVE him. Terrible.
This was low key zootopia before zootopia
I think they could share the same universe
Different animal human hybrid s like Sing 1 & 2 (Dream works)
my childhood nostalgia rests here🙃
Unironically one little mistake that you make in your school years can change how you are seen for the rest of your life until you move to another place. As someone who has graduated last year, I can say the song got everything right. Nobody forgets and everyone can be cruel. Be careful kids, don’t make any mistakes like me.
My mistake was trusting people

yes, we all heard the song, do you want a medal for wasting time typing out a whole song?
It really doesn't make sense why a lot of people get so triggered every time someone quotes something from a movie or a show?
I really liked the movie Chicken Little. I saw it a fair amount of times when i was a little kid. I liked it back then and i still like it now.
Fun fact. When i was a kid. I loved this song and intro so much. I payed to see it on Comcast On Demand so many times i had racked up a 80$ charge to my grandfathers credit card. They fixed it right away cause they saw i had only seen the first 5 minutes of the movie then stopped 😂
I loved this song so much when I was younger. Such a nostalgic movie.
One of the best parts of the movies. Seeing chicken little in his underwear is just priceless I think lol
This song feels like it was composed by the filmmakers to voice their resentment for how the movie turned out. Like the theme song for Pinky, Elmyra and the Brain but a lot more subtle.
Oh yeah I see it now! I wish this movie went in the way it was originally planned

They were going to but when John Lasseter got the job as Chief Creative Executive of Disney in 2006 he ordered all new chapers to every Disney Movie not from Pixar to be cancelled and never allowed. He only allows new chapters to Pixar movies. This was why Chicken Little 2 among other new chapers such as Dumbo 2' Aristocats 2' 101 Dalmatians 3' Lady and the Tramp 3' etc are no more.
moatguy well darn I would love to see them
