in order to animate justin-heavy bits you need two skills: drawing people trying and failing to come up with something to say, and drawing people absolutely losing it at their own jokes
It just occurred to me how stunningly good Griffin actually IS at improvising lyrics. You see Justin struggling to come up with these lyrics even before bombing with 'brown', and I'd say Justin is probably about average in his attempt. But then Griffin just comes out of the gate IMMEDIATELY with lyrics dumping on specifically how Justin fumbled.
It relates to their brains processing speed. Having a high processing speed is essential for live comedy. Griffin has the fastest out of them, and it reflects in a lot of what he does and says.
Justin is above average? I have no experience in comedy/improv and having done a few attempts just now I think I'm par with or just succeeding Griffin. Mind you, I wrote a lot of poetry as a kid so maybe I can only do rhyming/rhythm based improv
