My baby girl Harley, was born without a left arm and her intestines on the outside of her body, had spinal fusion surgery on 10 disc it was hard but we did it.Harley graduated high school Saturday and we just started a family youtube channel together she loves all the support in the comments. ❤congratulations on your baby boy.😊
My little sister had three prem babies and decided to put herself through University to become a NICU nurse, she then went back and is now a ward nurse and is able to be the one who goes into labour/delivery if theres a problem with someones little one... amazing job they do. Anyone else cry when Lucian first came out and first cried?! Omg I’m sitting here drinking my coffee all choked up because I know that feeling and it’s indescribable. Jade your birth story is almost identical to mine except I was 2 weeks early. Otherwise almost identical with my son going to the NICU with similar issues. I know the long days waiting for him to get well and staying the whole night in the chair next to him. You were a champ in labor!! You were made tough to take on this situation and you make such a great boy mom. Having a son is so special 🥰

My second son was a c section baby so his face and head weren't smushed or coned, and he had no birth marks. Just depends on the birth and what happens during.

So many cute moments. I went into labor and felt the same way about the lack of contractions. Went to work filled out maternity paperwork boss kicked me out, made me go the hospital. First of all, congratulations! I too didn't think I was going to be a mom, but here I am honored to have a spunky kiddo. The mom in me kicked in the other night at The Cure show when two teenagers were being treated a little rudely, and I stepped in to help the teens. So happy for the both of you.

I have been following you (and your pregnancy) for a long time. I was also due in May, however, I had to give birth a little earlier at the end of April due to pelvic complications. I also gave birth to a baby boy ❤😊 seeing your son being placed on your chest after he came out of you brings back a bunch of emotions, there is nothing like it! The warmth, the happiness and the anxiety, and of course the love. I wish you all the best and hope that you will all be doing well!

Honestly it was a team effort that kept me so focused. Between Dallas holding my leg and cheering me on, the amazing nurses, and my doctor’s soothing and encouraging voice I was in such a positive space. I pushed for 2 hours 😂 but it seriously felt like 20 min.
I’m so glad things went well, the same thing happened to me when I was in labor with my daughter. I’m glad Dallas was so supportive and helpful during everything.

I had a faulty epidural with my first too. I couldn't move, but I could feel EVERYTHING!!!! It was torture!! I wouldn't trade it for the world! And I went on to have 2 more gremlins. Congrats on that perfect baby boy!! Lucian is more loved than he will ever know by the spooky fam!! 🖤🖤
I totally empathize with your NICU experience. My son was born in December and came out unable to breathe. I didn't get to even hold him before they had a team of people around him trying to revive him. Luckily he has made a full recovery! But it is hard to mourn the postpartum experience you expected when it seems like everything went wrong. ❤️ Love you Jade!
Best video you have made!!!! Love that lil boy if yours! You had me laughing, excited, and crying….. but it was all worth it! Lucian and Neens make an awesome team. I had a daughter with a heart condition and spent a lot of time in the hospital for her first year, always checking her heart beat at home and taking care of what needed to be done. Cardiologist talked surgery and by the time her first birthday rolled around she out grew it. She still has a faint murmur but can do what ever she wants. By the way she’s 33 years old now and it was all worth it. Keeping you in my prayers and thoughts! Love your new little family!!!

I literally cried when the heartbeat was playing and then when you cried while holding him for the first time because it reminded me of when I experienced those moments. I had my spooky daughter end of December and it’s the greatest gift I have ever received!❤

What a wonderful video! So heartwarming to see Neens sleeping with the baby!..I felt the same uncertainty before my son was born. I was sure I would love my Siamese cat more than the baby! Ha! When we got home, we put our new son in the middle of our bed and let Ichabod the cat sniff and explore him. After about 5 minutes the cat fell in love with him, sleeping next to the baby whenever he had the chance! And our dog, Sassy, the Dalmatian, made little whining sounds at him, the same sounds she had made to her puppies 2 years earlier. So smart, she knew he was a baby! Now I knew we’d be one big happy family! 👨👩👦🐈⬛🐕❤

I am an RN & I worked in the NICU/Maternal Newborn & Labor & Delivery & your shared story brought back so many memories of not only working up there but when my 1st son was born almost 28 years ago! I wasn’t a Momma yet when I worked up there but I do knew w, being a Mom now, I just couldn’t work in the NICU now because I swear, I’d be bawling coming home everyday. Like when You were explaining that You never thought you would ‘be’ or feel like this, becoming a Mom; you can’t explain it & once you do it, if ‘you know; You know’! I had a hell of a time getting pregnant, carrying my son to term & 1 hell of a delivery. I was induced at 37 weeks, had FIVE STRAIGHT days of labor & he was shrouded from head to toe as he was caught up on my back bones; my son literally had a black eye for well over a month after he was born. He had to stay in the hospital for just over a week & still to this day; it was the longest week of my life. My heart went out to you & Dallas when you were trying to explain what it’s like, going home without Your baby & there aren’t words to explain what it feels like, again my heart melted for the 2 of you. I will say, I feel like I’ve literally blinked after he was born & now he’s 28 in August! OMFG, how absolutely adorable is LUCIAN?? That close up that Dallas did in the hospital with his eyes open, soooooo cute! (But how could he not be cute? Look at his Momma, his Daddy & Big Sis Neens!) I didn’t know Your fav show is ‘Paranormal Caught On Camera’! My last house was sooooo incredibly haunted; my partner Del was thrown 15’ across the kitchen; the pix I have as well as EVPs are absolutely insane! This is true vulnerability and transparency … There is no typical social media facade they front. Instead of them putting out a story of how everything went perfectly, leaving out the hardship, they fully embrace true life which always throws unexpected curves balls. I had a faulty epidural with my first too. I couldn't move, but I could feel EVERYTHING!!!! It was torture!! I wouldn't trade it for the world! And I went on to have 2 more gremlins. Congrats on that perfect baby boy!! Lucian is more loved than he will ever know by the spooky fam!! 🖤🖤

I totally empathize with your NICU experience. My son was born in December and came out unable to breathe. I didn't get to even hold him before they had a team of people around him trying to revive him. Luckily he has made a full recovery! But it is hard to mourn the postpartum experience you expected when it seems like everything went wrong. ❤️ Love you Jade!
Best video you have made!!!! Love that lil boy if yours! You had me laughing, excited, and crying….. but it was all worth it! Lucian and Neens make an awesome team. I had a daughter with a heart condition and spent a lot of time in the hospital for her first year, always checking her heart beat at home and taking care of what needed to be done. Cardiologist talked surgery and by the time her first birthday rolled around she out grew it. She still has a faint murmur but can do what ever she wants. By the way she’s 33 years old now and it was all worth it. Keeping you in my prayers and thoughts! Love your new little family!!!

Crying watching this I just had my babe two months ago and he’s seriously changed my life in the best way. I’m so happy for you guys and so proud of you.
What a wonderful video! So heartwarming to see Neens sleeping with the baby!..I felt the same uncertainty before my son was born. I was sure I would love my Siamese cat more than the baby! Ha! When we got home, we put our new son in the middle of our bed and let Ichabod the cat sniff and explore him. After about 5 minutes the cat fell in love with him, sleeping next to the baby whenever he had the chance! And our dog, Sassy, the Dalmatian, made little whining sounds at him, the same sounds she had made to her puppies 2 years earlier. So smart, she knew he was a baby! Now I knew we’d be one big happy family! 👨👩👦🐈⬛🐕❤

OMG, I laughed, I cried, and I had the most happiest tears of joy for you, Dallas, Neens & Little Lucian as I watched your birth story.
I am an RN & I worked in the NICU/Maternal Newborn & Labor & Delivery & your shared story brought back so many memories of not only working up there but when my 1st son was born almost 28 years ago! I wasn’t a Momma yet when I worked up there but I do knew w, being a Mom now, I just couldn’t work in the NICU now because I swear, I’d be bawling coming home everyday. Like when You were explaining that You never thought you would ‘be’ or feel like this, becoming a Mom; you can’t explain it & once you do it, if ‘you know; You know’!
I had a hell of a time getting pregnant, carrying my son to term & 1 hell of a delivery. I was induced at 37 weeks, had FIVE STRAIGHT days of labor & he was shrouded from head to toe as he was caught up on my back bones; my son literally had a black eye for well over a month after he was born. He had to stay in the hospital for just over a week & still to this day; it was the longest week of my life. My heart went out to you & Dallas when you were trying to explain what it’s like, going home without Your baby & there aren’t words to explain what it feels like, again my heart melted for the 2 of you. I will say, I feel like I’ve literally blinked after he was born & now he’s 28 in August! OMFG, how absolutely adorable is LUCIAN?? That close up that Dallas did in the hospital with his eyes open, soooooo cute! (But how could he not be cute? Look at his Momma, his Daddy & Big Sis Neens!) I didn’t know Your fav show is ‘Paranormal Caught On Camera’! My last house was sooooo incredibly haunted; my partner Del was thrown 15’ across the kitchen; the pix I have as well as EVPs are absolutely insane! We even shared Our story on The Travel Channel’s ‘Paranormal Survivor’, S4, Ep9, called Demonic Hauntings’

I never had this maternal instinct that most people talk about and I have been debating having children for a while. My husband and I have finally decided to start trying and I couldn't be more nervous and anxious. Seeing other people going through this and growing out of this experience has been so helpful, you don't even know! Something that might help is the owlet sock monitor! I used it with my baby boy to monitor his breathing and heart rate.
This is true vulnerability and transparency … There is no typical social media facade they front. Instead of them putting out a story of how everything went perfectly, leaving out the hardship, they fully embrace true life which always throws unexpected curves balls. It’s refreshing to see “REAL” people in social media today. Life is not for the faint of heart. It’s hard but we can find beauty in anything if we choose.
I commend them on being their true authentic self and allowing us the privilege to journey with them. I send peace, love, happiness, and high frequency to everyone reading this. May you all be altruistic to your highest form and self too. I love you all. 💜

Being 3 months post partum while watching this has been an emotional trip. I got teary eyed seeing you at the hospital. I cried seeing you holding your baby for the first time as you cried. I was ugly crying when you cried for your baby in the NICU while you were home. Then the waterworks continued when baby Lucian got home and met neens and your dad !
