    Hi! You state this is to be kept at room temperature in an airtight container. How long would it last? Would it last longer in the fridge? Thanks for the recipe, can't wait to try it! :)

      Hi. You can in room temp area aroung 20 - 24 °c like air condition room. It can last for around 1 week since this is a home made recipe.. Not ideal in the fridge because It could become at crystalize sugar but you can try some then check it😊

      Yes, you can but I would suggest to boil your glucose mix for a bit longer so it will form bit sticky. In that case it can hold your pastries and cakes.

    • @DailyCakeTVbyRaymondCepillo
      @DailyCakeTVbyRaymondCepillo  2 года назад +4

      Hi, by overnight it will sticky but this not good idea to use in fixing flowers to fondant. You can use water only or if big flowers, use toothpick to stick your flowers into fondant cake.

    Wat is Creme of tartar?

    • @DailyCakeTVbyRaymondCepillo
      @DailyCakeTVbyRaymondCepillo  2 года назад

      Cream of tartar is a white powder sold in the baking aisle that’s commonly used to stabilize whipped egg whites in meringues and cakes, prevent sugar crystallization in candies and caramel, and act as the activating ingredient in baking powder.

    But that's glucose-fructose-syrup, not pure glucose syrup. A 50/50 mix.

      He’s using a cup of sugar for one tablespoon of juice, so it’s more like a 97/3 mix

    • @MoxxoM
      @MoxxoM 9 месяцев назад +1

      Sugar is sucrose, a disaccharide made out of one glucose and one fructose molecule. In water with an acid catalyst, it hydrolyses to form those two monosaccharides in equal parts. So a 50/50 mix. It's also called invert sugar syrup. @@zedudli

      @@MoxxoM since you seem knowledgeable about this stuff, may I ask you: i made the recipe to use in a ganache. Will this works fine even if it’s not pure glucose syrup? I also have cream of tartar in my pantry so I’d prefer to make the syrup again instead of wasting the chocolate. Thank you 🙏🏻

    • @MoxxoM
      @MoxxoM 9 месяцев назад

      Ah sorry, I know more about chemistry than actual bakery..I would think it will be fine though, but if you want to be 100% sure, you might want to look into it further. But I don't see why it shouldn`t work. If you want pure glucose syrup, you can buy dextrose/grape sugar and cook it into a syrup without acids. Dextrose is just glucose.@@zedudli
