Regarding the logo and the placement..
I ordered one months ago (in Elmax) and as a result have been getting email updates from Urban EDC and one of the emails shows a picture of the logo being on the inside of the knife on the liner

I dig the design and that brown micarta is really nice. but I think that in the end I've reached a point where .15" is a bit thick for my tastes. Excited to see the reviews though

Any size comparison to a large Pilar or a Suru? I own both and love them, and really like the idea of a micarta liner lock version on these. How does this compare to the Ace Biblio (which I’m also considering)?

You missed that liner locks also look better in my opinion because they have two matching scales made of whatever material whereas frame locks need at least one steel or titanium scale (with a few exceptions). So it’s a nicer look with a liner lock I think.
I really like this, but, I have 7 others I'm debating about. Maybe you could help me out? Most are Copper(vs another handle choice). Let's start with "Civivi Elementum in Copper, black stonewashed, D2 blade vs Elementum Natural G10 Transparent, S35VN blade that is also thinner at 0.10" vs 0.12".
Next two is "GiantMouse Vox/Anso ACE Clyde, Copper vs Green Micarta (that is very nice, but sold out for the moment)
Then," We Knife Banter"
Another Copper Slipjoint, "MecArmy EK3R", very nice.
And here comes the 3 last :
- Kizer Copper Mini Sheepdog
- CJRB Cuttlery Rampart Copper
- CRKT Pilar Frame Lock Copper.
What could and would you say about these knives? Anyone that's just going straight out. And are there some interesting knives, good quality ones?

I like the look of this, but that forward finger choil looks tiny esp. compared to the para 3 & 2's choil. I like a forward choil, but it needs to be dedicated and this looks like it's more of an afterthought. Some times flippers can help out with giving more finger room like it's an extension on the choil, but this doesn't have anything like that. This is just from looking at it though and I could be completely wrong and this could wind up being a solid choil in 3 dimensions vs the 2 I'm looking at it in, but that also means I'm not going to really want to buy it without getting it in hand first. Solid vid though.

I'd prefer liners to frame 10 out of 10 times for the reason you first outlined. I'm sick of flippers and framelocks myself. Love to see some variety.
I just both of mine. The segima edition and the brass editions and the brass one has a very weak detent you think the company would exchange it

Really nice looking. I'd like to see one next to a Pilar Large. I'm not a big frame lock fan, for the reasons you mentioned, but with the exception of a slight difference to the curve of the back of the blade this looks like a really deluxe version of that knife.

Are they adding a steel liner to both versions? That might make the Ti one pretty heavy. You also said the Ti one was approx 4.25oz. but Urban EDC says it's 3.25oz - did you happen to weigh it yourself? Thanks for the info!
I did weigh it myself, yes.
I love the blade shape but both liner and frame locks are dangerous for left single hand use. I had the same issue with the Pilar, if only they made a left handed version... I also looked into ambidextrous locks like the AXIS or even back locks but never found anything below 3 inches to use in my state :(
Are you looking specifically for a sub 3” ambidextrous Vox knife or just a sub 3” sheepsfoot blade with a hole opener? The MiniGrip 555 might be an option.
@@John.VanSwearingen sheepsfoot in general but I find the one in the minigrip particularly ugly :) Other than that I love the default minigrip, but their sheepsfoot version has a weird spine bend that I find hard to like.
Why would liner and frame locks be any more dangerous for lefties? I use my knife left-handed about 40% of the time and I have no trouble opening, closing, or using any of my knives.
Maybe I just have long fingers, but my experience with liner locks is that my thumb knuckle is closer to the blade when pulling on the lock with the left thumb, I had a couple of instances with the CRK Swindle when I didn't move it away fast enough when fidgeting and sliced my knuckle
I am a little worried that I am going to judge this knife due to the fact that I own an original Vox F5. I only need an F9 and F11 to finish my Vox Knives library. There will also be a coin with some of the orders. While quantities last.
So I ordered this back in the end of July, and now the pre-order is available again? So any clue what's going on with that original order from almost a month ago? Guess I'm confused on these drops.
They just opened the pre-order back up. The original order was placed with the OEM. This is a separate order, I believe. It explains it on the site.
