This is a great example of Canada and Canadians' hospitality. This kind of generosity is rarely seen in the world. Those who have lived in other countries know that for certain. @@skopa1223 It's a fine line though, between kindness and weakness. Don't get me wrong i am not saying anything bad about the video, the driver seems to be a cool dude but in general by Trudeau calling Canada a post national state he is saying that Canadians have no identity, it is why nationalist backlash is starting to build traction.
As long as the balance is both ways, people come here want to learn and become Canadians. Canadians equally want to learn about the people who come here.

I currently live in Brampton. I go to a French immersion school which has a decent amount of Indians, but when I was younger literally everyone either spoke English Hindi or Punjabi. I remember in grade 4 I was taught to sing an entire song in Hindi. I actually didn’t mind. But it was when the neighbors would kind of force their language a bit on me. I remember playing cricket with the neighborhood kids when an Indian aunty started speaking in Punjabi. I personally thought she was talking to someone but she was actually talking to me. Honestly after she left I just went home. I know this isn’t related to the video but I felt like saying that.

It is super nice and very admirable when White Canadians take an effort to appreciate other cultures respect it and even to learn the language is just amazing. We live in times of Trump and Trumps like, we have to take a step back and treat each other as human being, not as Hindu or Sikhs or Muslims or...

Ahah I learnt a whole lot of Hindi, Punjabi, Somali, Arabic, Spanish , and tangolog, also stoney. From living in Edmonton. For the past few years. Only reason is cause I’m a talkative person and just love socializing. And I pick up on things quite quick and fast. Although since I live in the North i try and talk mostly in Cree and avoid English. Except when I go to the nearest town I do enjoy going inside and talking with the gas station and corner store workers.(they are usually one of the above.)
