Some excellent choices. Tommy was always one of my favorites. I recently picked up a copy of Genesis', The Lamb Lies Down On Broadway. If you like early Genesis, it definitely is something you need in your collection.

Great video, I really enjoyed this. My favorite album in my collection is the Velvet Underground and Nico.

Killer collection of albums there. Some Girls is in my top 5 Stones albums . Rock Me is a great Steppenwolf song from that album. That Alice Cooper album is from his early 80s blackout period but I enjoy it a lot. My dream show back then would be to see The Doors with Velvet Underground.

Good shit. Got a little intro to dadaism, looking forward to this next rabbit hole, thanks. And oddly enough, been listening to that Airplane album this week. I digg it, technically their most diverse album. Got congas to a steel chicken, kinda bizarre but a trip

Hello 🌞 .. That's a first edition of Some Girls as the estate of Marilyn Monroe sued to have her image removed from later pressings. I will go there .. We Built This City On Rock & Roll by The Starship is one of the worst songs ever .. a long way from the brilliant Surrealistic Pillow days. Crimes Of Passion is my favorite Ken Russell film. Solid job by Anthony Perkins & love the smoky voice of Kathleen Turner. Pretty harsh film ..respect the odd candor it has. ✌️

Hello, those were some pretty cool albums! It's funny but you mentioned two movies where there was a cover that was really awesome! Like Elton John doing Pinball Wizard, and then in the Sgt. Pepper movie, Got To Get You Into My Life by Earth Wind & Fire! Anyway I also loved your outro, where you were like "ok that was fun, go home!" :-D

Favorite album Exile on main Street, Rock radio stations in Cleveland would not play miss you from the some girls album because it was considered a disco song when the album first came out,

"The Who Sing My Generation" "Freak Out" (Frank Zappa and The Mothers of Invention) "12 X 5" (The Rolling Stones) "Between the Buttons" (The Rolling Stones) "The Kink Kronicles" (The Kinks) - Venus, you have great taste in sound. Take care, dear gal. -- W

I have Crown Of Creation on tape and it's pretty good- it doesn't have any of their big hits, but it's a nice mellow piece with a pretty good production value

Your music videos are good and your thoughts on each album you show are worth sharing. 'Let It Be' is more of a rocknroll album that highlights the musical progression of The Beatles from their earliest recordings. It is the band coming full circle and made for a fantastic final album. Check out The Rolling Stones 'Exile On Main St.' This might be the greatest rock album of all time! Ken Russell is a bit of a bizarro film director. I'm assuming you are into the films of David Lynch!

Do you have Alice Cooper’s LOVE IT TO DEATH album? That’s my favorite of all his albums. The songs “Second Coming” and “The Ballad Of Dwight Fry” are amazing. As for my all time favorite in my collection, my choice changes by the minute so right this minute I would have to say RUBBER SOUL by The Beatles. Call me again in a minute and I’ll let you know my new favorite.

I didn't buy the original Some Girls with the actresses on the inside sleeve. That was my mistake. But I was able to find a 2nd hand copy at a record convention for $6. I also have the vinyl version of Let it Be before I bought all CD versions of the Beatles albums. Do you have a copy of the Stones Sticky Fingers with the original real zipper? I think the re-issues don't have the zipper any more, only the photograph.

Unfortunately DaDa is maybe Alice Cooper's worst album. I mean he had a few real stinkers in the early 80's when he was probably drunk 24/7. You should try to get your hands on all of the albums from before Alice went solo. It's all just pure genious. The first one is maybe a bit rough if I remember correctly. And his first two solo albums (Welcome to my nightmare and Goes to hell) are also insanely good. After that it's a bit more hit and miss. Some stuff is great and some is not. Raise your fist and yell from 1989 is really good.
