If it is a synthetic woven satin fabric, yes. In the past Satin was made strictly from silk, but that is rare now. If it were made from silk, no it would not cut well with a hot knife, it would burn.
@@marshallbingham9587 you still have to charge the battery. so you would much rather pay more for something you can diy for less. I wish I had the type of money you have to burn, that would be great :D
The Dremel has problems if its own, as many people are now complaining that they're no longer producing replacement tips for the Versatip. Plus the Dremel hot knife blades are not on par with this thing, they're smaller and not able to do everything a dedicated hot knife can do.
Well done, Mr. Grant.
Looks like a dandy set up, especially for those that have commercial-needs.
Thanks!!!! I love this new Edge Cordless Hotknife.

No it cannot.
Get a 200 watt soldering iron and a piece of copper wire, much cheaper
Do u have a video on that!?
A bike will also get you to work everyday but i'd much rather pay the price to drive a car.

@@redtrain5 I just made a video for you
No need for this. A simple Dremel Versatip has at least two hot knives and has no cable. And I bet is cheaper than this.
