Don't let em sailing in South CHINA sea
don't worry its west Philippines sea
@@danilomaynite3606 Never heard or seen a west philippine sea on the world map! Only the "SOUTH CHINA SEA". Keep making up BS names and selling your women to pamper the Chinese!
you cant go in south china sea because its our west phil sea
This appears to show Philippine fishermen dropping cyanide tablets to stun the fish mostly sold as aquarium fish. This has been practiced in Southeast Asia for years and the Philippines is cited quite often in this practice which is harmful to corrals. CGTN did not specifically say this is what's going on, but it is likely that businesses in aquarium fish know this practice quite well. It would have been more informative if CGTN provided a narrative that is not overly accusatory yet educates viewers about illegal fishing practices. I hope this explanation helps.( FYI, I have, in the past, fished with the Badjaos, known in the Philippines as the Sea Gypsies, and in conversations with them learned about fishing practices in the Sulu Sea of the Philippines.) BTW, I am Filipino.
Best report to the Phillipino Coast Guard then
@@Andy-PChances are the Philippine Coast Guard knows about it. I am not being overly pessimistic, but in my country, people do things to survive, that just the way things are. As the saying goes, in countries like the Philippines, with its dynasties and regional elites " The big thieves jail the little thieves."
@@onestraw-zx1ph That is unfortuneate
US embellishing a corrupt government for its own selfish needs. Sadly contributes to this problem.
@@onestraw-zx1ph
With a US embellished big thief Bong Bong, expect no less . . . sadly for the little thieves Phillipine people's !
Get the Phil out. Don’t let Phil fishy men polluting the area.
Yes. China should take proactive approach and claim back one of the Taiwan formal military outposts Island occupied by the Phillipines. It should be part of China, deport all those invade people.
So disgusting
There is a saying in Chinese: "You live there, and you don’t shit there." Obviously, these people didn’t understand that their livelihood depends on the sea. Water flows!
What the heck am I seeing? I'm on China's side all the way but CGTN really needs to up its game in storytelling. Only showing footages without any background story about what is being shown does nothing to get the audiance on the same page. Okay they were Philippine fishermen but what were they doing? I'm sure I'm not the only one puzzled here. Give us context for God's sake!
Come on CGTN, you are a giant well-funded media organization but your storytelling game is at an amateur level. This is so sad! Smh...
How are you going to win the propaganda war against the US and all its vassals? Are you going to let Philippines win more sympathy than China about this maritime border issues?
Well if you don't understand this, this usually means that the information if for those they want them to see/expose, i know this is confusing for non chinese, but this is how chinese do things, is the way we engage communication and even propaganda.

China sells high-end eletronic products while Philip's men still stuck with with old livelihood.😂
They had good fishing grounds and fish fetches a good price... until China stole it.
@@Andy-P LOL do your research and then explain why PH can out do China in fishing, also please show us evidence CH stealing fishes in PH waters. wag ka mag paka tanga, ginagago lang kayo ni marcos para making next ukraine. wag kayo paloko sa pinas.
@@Andy-Pyet there is NOTHING you can do about it now is there? How about to up to the highseas and do something useful instead of barking on the internet?

Chinese Propaganda.
Philippians fishermen are bombing the fish too
comparing to the large reclaimed area and the dead corals, we are surely a sinner 😂
So what's the point?
South China Sea.
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂.
China's claimes go back to the Qing-goverment, over SCS.
When only China, JPN and Thailand were independent countries in East Asia.
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
China claims may go back to Ancient History where the CCP would like to take us... back in the good ol Imperial Days. In the modern world those sea's if in Phillipino EEZ are the Phillipines. But China has a far larger navy and in the Chinses GCI that is far more important. Like Putin army bigger than Ukraines
You know NOTHING of history
This video footage lacks sufficient context or evidence to substantiate its claims or purpose.
Please consider removing it promptly. I am very disappointed in you CGTN, I know you can do better than this!!
China is showing the clip was recorded from very distant away. Maybe from satellite 🛰️.
What is it ?!
Whats happening??

Culture, education,... survival...⁉️
The infamous very split seconds video clips.. by state controled media😂😂😂 where's the video of over fishing of giant Clams, puffer fish, and coral reef destruction.. and ilegal fishing of endangered species such as green turtles..hope you included it..( but because its chinese fisherman and millitia did it) it wont showed.

Who caused more damage, construction of artificial island damaging hectares of corals and fish breading grounds, thousand of big fishing vessel, that could cause over fishing?, or this vedio, with out prof only fishermen?...

We in China would like to apology to the Philippine for spreading Covid-19 from Wuhan to your country.❤

Hahahaha shame on u.😂😂 U claim it like yours. But basically its not urs 😂😂
Who are damaging the SCS? In 2016 more chinese dredging vessels destroyed hectare of islands and corals to make artificial islands
And the reason why they have to do that is...?
@@chriscain7333 Because they have invaded and need to garrison their new conqured territories like best friend Russia in Ukraine.
Why??😂it is not theirs anyway.😂
Yes. Spitting in water cost pollution 😳😳😳😶
spitting in the sea is bad??
You know birds and fish piss and shit in it, right?
😂😂😂
And no, thats not what they are trying to show you, if you don't understand, it usually indicates that this particular piece is not for you, its for those who dose, unfortunately thats how chinese do things
@@chriscain7333 please explain to me what you mean by "how Chinese do things".
I only wish the best for china, I just find this particular part odd. There's plenty of reason to spit at sea, for example if you've got sea water in your mouth and you want to get rid of the salty taste. I've head there's cultures that frown upon spitting, but still... I'm ok for "oh look they are throwing trash in the sea" but not " oh look how bad they are, they are adding a few Ml of liquid to the sea, like most living creatures on earth". common now...
@@krymz1 what i meant is, the chinese like to show information for whom they want to show to, so its completely normal for anyone to be confused about what they are trying to conveyor, simply because they are not talking to people outside a specific audience.
This is how they do most of things given its diplomacy, communication or even propaganda.
@@krymz1 this particular short is to show that the Philippino fishermen are using chemicals for fishing btw, in turn destorying the surrounding eco system , while the Philippinos accusing the chinese doing that.
