"Airplane taking off" This noise level is quite good
Thanks man, exactly what I was looking for!
You are welcome!
Thank you for the review, after your review i purchased the Llan and it works 😀
I just got the IETS GT600 RGB and so far no regrets, the foam around the base seals the bottom of the laptop very nicely and prevents air filtering out.
The USB hub on the left side is not very good, so don't waste your time using it.
The back filter is a double filter, a thick washable foam one and a thin white one, perfect to keep dust and lint out.
The adjustable hooks to hold the laptop from moving have 3 positions and multiple heights, so the laptop cannot slide down, also a bonus.
I have not had the need to increase the speed of the fan above 800, temp stays between 60/70 C on both CPU and GPU during gaming and at that speed level the fan acts like white noise. 👍
Bro, where did you buy IETS GT600? Im from Philippines
@@Ranymabanag Amazon Mexico here.
It's on Amazon now in the states.
I'm on Mexico, Amazon MX did have it in inventory, I do wish they also had spare filters too.
@@Ranymabanag Dude, we have Lazada and Shopee. Did you even try searching?
Thanks for the great review! Points added on having the same laptop :D would you combine this with the added cooling mode on the msi stealth?
I have a Razer Advanced 15 in withh a i9/3080ti. It gets HOT.
This pad cooled it off very well. I love it.
Thanks!
AMAZING, I am glad it worked out well for you.
Great review.
-- I suggest you add tables or graphs to your videos. Easier to follow.
Great video, do you perhaps know the voltage of the power adapter is it 110v or 220v? Thanks.
Could you use MSI Afterburner utility on the GT500 as well? Last time you measured temperatures with fraps (I think). Not exactly the same representation. Readings could be off by 5-8C
Thanks ❤
Great analysis...I'm considering it for a 5 bay NAS but even at 60dB my plan to locate the NAS in another room, but be my answer.
Good review. I recently bought the IETS GT600. Pretty much the same as the LLano, but I like the IETS laptop clips better. It can get loud, but I've found my Legion Pro 7i 4080 will run at 60 - 75 during heavy gaming, with a fan setting of 800-1200 and very reasonable sound levels. I've never had a cooling pad that comes close to this one. Who says cooling pads don't work.
Facts. I couldnt get my hands on the GT600. I do get comments here and there saying they dont work... Those are the same people that can see a fact and turn a blind eye to it.
These videos are awesome man, well done. But I do have a question. Would you, or maybe anyone else in the comment section, happen to know of a decent laptop cooler that may be a little cheaper? I need a laptop cooler, but can really only afford to spend about 40 on it.
just get an elevated stand if you can't afford the ones with industrial grade fans like iets or llano. There are tests showing that the other brands who uses normal fan does almost no difference than putting 4 bottle caps under your laptop.
I have a HP elitebook G10 with 214.7mm length. I heard someone said it is not fit IETS G600 or this LLANO. Can you suggest me a cooler fit 14 inch laptop. Thank you.
Have u also tried iets gt626?
on the IETS GT500 are you not spoused to remove the red cover which is there to hold the piece of foam for smaller laptops ? i feel like that blocking the most important space where you want the air to go on bigger laptops ?
Would this help out when DJ ing outside in 90-degree weather or just using a laptop stand would work just as well? 🤔
lol great this video would appear as soon as I buy the IETS GT500
Hi Bud! I see you have the Version 12 there. My gf Wants to get one but we noticed there is a newer verson. Whats the difference between this one and Version 13? Thank you very much Turahok! :)
just got the 500 and it does the job well. but if it needs replacing(hopefully never) then I might go for Llano if there are no newer alternatives
Something told me that you would make a video of this cooling pad and I appreciate that you share the experience, it seems to perform well but the main problem is that it makes a lot of noise compared to the iets gt500, I would like to see it vs the iets gt 600, I have been able to buy it It's been a few days but it hasn't arrived in my country yet.
In the test, I turned down the cooling pad below the GT500s dbs and it still cooled down the laptop better.
The GT636 isn’t available in my country and I’m unsure on how to get it
@@christopherdedeck
There is a little problem
When the laptop is on the pad it returns a quieter noise level since the it seals part of the cooler for a fair comparison you have to check both in same conditions so with the laptop on the gt500
@@etson32 Llano is still better than the 600. (It is a touch louder) but it cools almost an extra 5-10 degrees better than the 600
@@thefoxmoonlight It may be true, I would like to see it on a laptop with a TDP of 150w or more (in GPU) anyway if it cools better with more noise it is a good sign since if the speed is lowered it can perform like the GT600
Noise is no problem, normally when gaming, use head phones, with noise cancellation and mic with ambient sound cancellation . So this is good. I hope they invent laptop cooling fans with water or refrigerant cooling that also cools the circulating air, in the future.
EXACTLY, THISSSS
just wanna ask, i have a laptop with ryzen 7 7745hx, and while gaming it reaches to 100°C, and i know it's bad (obviously lol) but i was wondering how high the temperatures have to be in worst case to be ok ? like 85°C max ? that is why im looking at cooling pads (awesome videos btw)
the chips are designed to go well over 90c but 100c is not normal and 100c is almost the critical temperature for the cpu. usually for gaming laptops within 95c-ish is fine.
do a repaste.. it will improve the temperature
Isnt it legion 5 pro man?
@@hikhik6441 You are simply guessing here. These AMD CPU's are designed to run hot.
@@Leavenfish Stop saying its designed to run hot lol, its not designed to run hot, its designed to tolerate heat, just like any other brand of CPUs, and just because they can tolerate, doesnt mean its ideal.
Would this work well for a MacBook Pro that doesn't have an intake on the bottom like yours but only has the exhausts?
will not
Nope. Wont work. Better off getting a laptop stand
Which one at low speeds is acceptable to the ears and blows harder?, which one is quietest in the lowest gear?
Pls test iets gt626
Just got IETS GT626
awesome! how did it go?
i have the GT500 at 5000rpm and really is great. In full i have 62-72 Cyberpunk Ultra x1600 with Scar and i do only undevolting from BIOS -80.In half almost 75-85.
But also this cooler LLMO i can see is great too.More decibel in full from GT500???need headphones for sure but the games is better with headphones or earbuds!
is this the best of all?
Thanks for the review, went with the llano.
Very handsome guy as well, just saying :)
Does it work well against an Alienware 13 r3?
I would like to see some performance benchmarks too. Most CPUs and GPUs will run faster when they're cooler. The performance difference will be even higher if there's any thermal throttling without the cooler. Temperatures honestly are completely irrelevant without proper performance numbers. You may get better longevity on the laptop if it's running cooler, but realistically it should outlive it's useful life even running at maximum temperatures as long as it's running under normal conditions and you're not blocking the vents.
Nice
Will a 14inch laptop gonna fit on this or this is too large for it?
Thanks
Which one is quieter on low speeds?
Has probado compararla con la nueva GT600?
You’ve gotta put Shelby stickers on it for it to reach its full potential
Basically a gt626 copy but for the price of iets gt500 at my country, official llano store as well. Sadge but kindda unfair comparison since the iets gt500 has a smaller fan which requires higher rpm for same static pressure and air intake.
In my country there is a 750 pesos difference or about 13.5 usd. Do you think the gt600 is worth the extra $13.5? Or should i stick with the llano
@@abcdefghijklmnopqrstuvwxyz1979 go for the llano its a certified brand in china called 绿巨能. Theyre all copies in the end. The chinese dont buy them cuz they got many local brands to choose from which are cheaper
I managed to get the llnao for ₽2788 about $50.6 usd, during the Christmas sale lol.🎉
Almost half the price of iets gt626
gt500 has a 5000rpm fan and llano has a 2800rpm fan
Is it worth the 40 dollar uptick is my curiosity. I have a 5fan that doesn't do this much. Though it and my strix 17 fit in my laptop bag 😬
In case you are still wondering 4 months later, it is definitely worth the extra money for gaming- at least for me. This cooling pad essentially enables your computer to run at max capacity without having to throttle performance due to high temperatures, and will be really effective if you notice that your fps starts high but drops after some time when gaming, since that means your GPU and/or CPU are probably not able to continue to running at max capacity due to temperature issues.
Convinced me to get it
i got it, and love it
What’s the name of the program used for monitoring drive temperature?
MSI Afterburner, it can do a lot more than check the temps, one of those being the undervolting of the GPU and CPU to gain more consistent performance and lower temperatures, at the cost of negligible FPS loss (if you want to do it, there are several tutorials teaching how to do it safely).
Ola faça um do baseus thermocool turbo fan rgb. Não a video de review dele no RUclips
good info thanks but wont work on my alienware r15 since the laptop sucks in cool air from the sides and bottom this as i can see this sucks air instead of pushing in air from the bottom is there a way to reverse the air flow in these units ?
is this better than the klim everest?
ich verstehe eigentlich nicht wieso die Lautstärke nie mit PC drauf getestet wird?!^^ - wird doch einiges leiser sein?!
gt600 vs llano?
Is it worth upgrading from gt500 to the v12?
Does llano work with 14 inch laptop
15 inch above
let gt621 vs llano v12 ?
Get the Llano v12 if you want cooling performance & value
Get the IETS 600/626 if you want better height adjustment options and a bit lighter and high quality magnet foam
do you have to have it so loud to be effective? even 600 rpm sounds way louder that my asus strix 16 in performance mode. is it effectibe at 300 rpm?
I would say llano is better and i own one and iets gt300. Llano better not because performance but here in malaysia its 400.00 myr cheaper than any iets.
D: i just bought GT600...
👍🏻🌹💖
I wonder if all these LLANO reviews are sponsored because it sounds too good to be true🤨
I brought it last week as my i9 13900hx, rtx4090 hp omen was hitting high 80s for the cpu and the omen gaming hub was limiting power due to heat so the gpu was utilising about 60 to 70% with this it sits in low to mid 70s with no limiting of power and 90 odd % gpu usage so it definitely works, just a shame it's so expensive. I didn't use it the other day out of curiosity and my cpu hit the 90s.
Just use standard laptop cooling pad, but install higher rubber feet on your laptop. Create a bigger gap between your cooling pad and laptop intake to work as a buffer for cool air intake.
Standard cooling pads doesn't direct air straight into the intake. I have already tested it.
Duude. I need that legs link.
These are the legs: amzn.to/3tWbUTP very cheap and does great. I use them almost daily.
@@christopherdedeck Thank you so much, I tried to 3d print something like that and even laser cut it in mdf, but the poor things just cramble apart after some time.
Just want to point out the llano is nearly 30 dollars more
Louder than the PS4
I am a manufacturer of laptop cooling pads and stands, a supplier of Lenovo HP
Remember, shoving air into your laptop generally isn't desirable or needed unless the laptop's fans aren't working. Basically thermal dynamics tells us that there is a point of diminishing returns when it comes to increasing air speed to improve radiant heat exchange into air. It's probably physically possible to hotwire your laptop's fans to run twice as fast as they currently do, but that doesn't guarantee it will cool better for all the noise it'd make. The main goal of a laptop riser/cooling pad is that it should prevent the accumulation of heat under the laptop chassis. Prop your laptop up on a book or something and place a small desk fan where it will blow under it, you will see comparable temp improvements as if you were using one of these expensive products. JS
... and the other important thing to consider, if your laptop is new and it runs a bit warm that is one thing. But if your laptop has been having more heat problems with time, then you have dust build-up and it doesn't matter if it's only 4 months old (but that would probably indicate that it needs to be repasted). Gaming laptops are like Dustbusters, you WILL need to remove the CPU/GPU heatsinks/pipes and clean dust bunnies out once per year (and also repaste).
Appreciated for your input. But in reality, my Alienware with just a simple riser - laptop fan on full speed: still hit like 95 - 100 constantly while gaming. With this LLANO one : dropped down to 80 with laptop fan on balance, same on full speed but cpu clock hit much higher on turbo. So i'm gonna say this : this one and IETS line up done miles better than any cooling pad on the market.
300 with the llano is all i can tolerate😅
lol the noise levels are just unacceptable though
hmm so llano is better
Cant be better because they have 5000 rpm fan version
Don’t buy unless you are living in a barn 😂
Level of noise it’s just unbelievable loud and discomfort level high as fu,,,,😂
Or keep it at half speed, still outperforms the IETS500
@@blu6 even half speed it’s loud
Laptopfans are loud to tho... so.
There's nothing better than these stands, and the noise problem is solved with headphones.
It's better than a laptop overheating.
Llano wins cause they use usb A ports
Iets uses usb 2.0😂
