Every one needs to do the cross country trip. We want to do a second coast to coast and maybe even to coast trip. Hitting all 3 coasts would be awesome

Rarely do I buy bottled water, straight from the tap since I can remember, when I was driving I would fill 4 empty milk jugs (4Lt) almost every day especially in the summer and still drink a gallon a day, safe travels

I would do tap water, but our tap water tastes like chemicals. The Brita filter takes that out. So for the truck we go to a refill station for a few bucks. There's a spring in the lower mainland that we want to test taste and we might just fill up there in the future for free

By the way, at 0:11, that is part of Markhor Peak which connects to Needle Peak but it's a climb. At 0:24 that is Yak Peak which I plan to hike up this summer. It's always nice seeing you drive through the area.

From what I remember, the rail road companies that built the tracks out west got 10 miles either side of the right of way. I don't know if that is how it was across the US. Rail roads dropped people off in the middle of nowhere to start towns. They also needed water every so many miles so a town usually started there. I was told that is why towns are spaced the way they are across the Highline in Montana.

Yea, makes sense, train is stopping here anyway to fill water and we just passed some nice land, let's homestead here.
