Spindashing as Modern Sonic and Shadow should be Free RLC, because I am not an overachiever, and I want to let people who have forgotten to write down their PS passwords, a chance to experience what lost world taught them/us.
It really doesn't fit, it feels so forced and ugly. I feel like there a much better alternatives like giving Slide the same properties as rolling (Since it's intrinsically tied to it and basically is a reskinned roll). Or for speed maybe just rework Generations's Drift into being a mini Drop Dash in 2D or when not holding left or right.
The physics of this mod need to be changed a bit as sonic slows down way too fast after the inital spin. If its going to be momentum based, the speed needs to be carried forward with sonic until stopped by an upward slope or wall. If its flat, sonic should still be going until he runs out of momentum.
The only thing I find weird about this mod is the sound effect for the spin dash, It sounds more like an airplane

That spindash is so weak at least frontiers lasted for a long time and gave such a boast. This is good but a little bit more speed could be added.

If they added for Frontiers after it released, who’s to say it couldn’t happen again for Sonic/Shadow Generations.
