I've found this kind of thing usually happens with Connects and the app because the app has given it incomplete or corrupted data to work off of; a glitch known as the "Static glitch" has it rapidly flashing what seems to range from sprites from the app assets to images from the user's photo gallery\the user's profile image for something connected to the app(?) In the eyes, which definitely weren't supposed to be sent to them 😯 furby connects having such advanced hardware but lazily-programmed software makes for very interesting bugs like that
Furby booms do that. He is probably not registering the Bluetooth properly. Either that or you have a faulty tablet that can't handle the app. (It's okay my iPod does it too)

Edit: I do actually remember my polka-dotted boom randomly making a very similar noise to that at a point, but it wasn't due to the app if I recall. I played real rough with my furbies when they didn't have batteries in, so she was probably just worn out 😵 and these things can just happen on such technologically-advanced toys too, when my Boom did that it went right back to normal after it made that sound and blanked out; acted like nothing even happened!

Here's an update: I tried updating the furby (I think that's the reason of the glitch) but it won't work. So I got a new pink furby for the teal furby to talk to. It will be coming in 1-2 days. Here's another funny glitches that happened a minute ago. My furby 2012 because his battery cover is lost (he was grumpy at the time) was turning into the chatty girl personality because he was talking to my furby BOOM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. I took the batteries out as a joke and when I put them back in in his normal position he looked like he was sleeping while his eyes were on and he could still talk. So I took it out again and NORMAL FURBY! Good Night Fans! Crispy M&Ms Are Back!
I know this vid is from 5 years ago but if you still have it then someone must have hacked into your Furby, the black and white eye thing is basically it's debug menu, hopefully the Furby isn't broken cause if you jack it in the wrong way then you can break the whole thing. Btw hacking into it the right way allows you to play custom audio, turn on the debug menu, turn it's eye off, change it's personality, change it's name, and change it's antenna color. That's all I'm aware you can to do it by hacking them.
Oh, don't you worry. That eye glitch is very common. It usually means low battery or that its system malfunctioned a little. Try putting in new batteries. If that doesn't work, turn it off and on. If THAT doesn't work reset it. And if that doesnt work do a reset (can't remember what its called) by holding its tail, and I think feeding it. Look it up just incase. Now, if that doesn't work.. im sorry
If your furby is broken, I suggest contacting Hasbro company of the country where you bought your Furby. My furby was broken for no reason, I sent them e-mail about te issue, described everything and showed them pictures, also the picture of receip. They sent me a new one. That one got broken for no reason too (I mean, it never fell on the ground and everyone was always gentle with it) but I guess I cant turn to them again. Anyway, this is an option. I heard that they sent a new one to many other people in same situation too.

The reason for that problem is probably because you didn't update the app and the program is wrong and it is a unactive program so you need to update the app every time there is a update

Yes, the update the Furby recieved may not compatible with the app version. As long as you didn't update the app, the Furby will keep doing this.
