After a really bad day she was lying in bed and nearly dozed off, while I listened to this on the speakers. After the song finished, she said: "That was beautiful". Yeah. Killed me.
I know. I listen to every QOTSA album repeatedly but this one, it feels so perfectly put together like this beautiful work of art and I just sound full of cliches but saying anything else doesn't do it justice. This album is made with something that's in me, I guess idk

By the time it gets to 2:35 and Josh sings triumphantly "im alive" then immediately follows it with a somber "hooray" that sounds cold and empty. Chills every time. Ive seen them live and its always great but its not quite as brilliant as the album. I appear missing on the other hand....
Fucken love how Mr. Dean gotta flex his guitar play a little here! I feel like in between Josh's and Troy's monster playing, he rarely gets to be heard..... Love this song so much - overtime I've come to love this song a lot more!
