    George seeks his mother's affection by doing what she wants in the beginning even then he didn't get her love. Mary instead gave it freely to Sandy causing George to envy her. In some ways Mary is responsible for what George become at the end.

      exactly, she turn her own son in a power hungry villain for her own ambition of power, wealth and position, no one's fault of his fate but her thats the price when you play the game of power, there is no middle ground

      Good take. I didn't look at it that way. You're absolutely right. George hated Sandy and taking part in her death just shows us viewers how much.

      It's not lame, it is just different. The thing to appreciate is a young actor who can do both roles, so far apart in emotional demands and style, so convincingly. That is brilliant and versatile character acting for you.

      @@Belaugh well, you think it's not, I think it is. Mainly because that role (IMO) is lame. He does what he can but there isn't much to work on, except on the singing and the whole August Moon band thing which I loved
