- The Harley Benton MR collection looks a little familiar, maybe because it is HEAVILY influenced by Mosrite guitars and, I think it looks pretty cool. These guitars have never been my personal cup of tea but I really like the efforts Harley Benton are going to to give their customers what they want. Oh man, I really hate to hear comments like "I know some companies are upset with HB right now, BUT...". That's just adding undeserved validity to Casino's "boycott". It's not even worth mentioning IMO. It's a backwards, hypocritical take by Casino, and "boycotting" makes no sense because there was never any chance of them working with HB in the first place.
Imagine if after Gibson's lawsuit against Warwick/Framus, we were like "I know Warwick is under scrutiny right now, BUT here's their new instruments". Nah, fuck that. Warwick did nothing wrong, and neither has HB, and tempering HB news with just a mention of Casino's (unjustified) anger is perpetuating Casino's mudslinging.
Mosrites are the guitars of the gods - anyone wielding one is instantly the coolest MF'r in the postcode (tho I've never even seen one close up to be honest)

@@googleboy7 for shure, but this will take until next weekend. I dont have experience with mosrites, but I have a whole bunch of guitars, from very old till nowadays models. Let's see what goes with it!
Yes mosrite aka the Johnny ramone guitar stainless steel frets tusq nut I believe locking tuners humbuckers love it I can’t stay up have to work tomorrow but I will watch the replay I’m interested in hearing Dave’s thoughts on them

Looks like the baritones also on come in sunburst. Seems like a great price for a baritone to experiment with, I just wish there were more finish options. Really digging the pearl white.

I have not watched the whole video,but the HB MR Classic looks a lot like the Univox Guitars that Kurt Cobain Played in his early career.
As a lifelong Ventures fan i have always wanted a Mosrite guitar, but the original Ventures ones sell for far too much.
I might be tempted to buy a Modern one which has a better spec, at £305 with a good gig bag the price is not bad.
My only reservations are the Arctec pickups, but at least they can be upgraded.
I will wait for the reviews, RUclips will be awash with them soon.🙂

It definitely sucks a lot. At least you acknowledge this horrible fact. More aptly, it's like going to a high end strip club and lap dances are only for right-handers.

Man those Mosrites are awful looking guitars,I know they're good but deffo not my cup of tea! So I wouldn't buy a HB version either,just saying. Now HB's new Telecaster with double binding.....I am tempted by
I was about to say the same! Everyone puts #Mosrite on a massive rockstar pedestal because a certain Ramone played one. The body is fugly, the headstock is fugly - the neck “might” be passable at the most, lol. Maybe Batphink and I are in the minority here, but we are absolutely correct in our assessment!
But, everyone has their thing. If people like these HB renditions of the original Mosrites, then go for it! If they sound good, I’m willing to overlook the world’s bad taste and/or visual impairments! 😉😂🤘🏻🎸
