Thanks for making my bad day feel not so bad! We had rain last night and this morning, took steps out the door and slipped and went down! Then while crocheting my hat had to redo 2 rows, only to finish it and discovered last time I worked on it I left out a row. So now I have a shorty bucket hat! 😂 😢

I've only had 2 vehicles with a manual transmission. One was a 1978 Jeep CJ5 and the other is a 1984 Harley soft tail. Love a manual trans.

The car my daughter drives lost its transmission this week. 7K to replace. Car blue book is 5K. Tough week for vehicles. Prayers to you - God will provide!

Have to agree about Honda. I’ve only had to do brakes and battery on my civic with a little over 80k miles on it. Eight years old and going strong, knock on wood. Good luck with the clutch. Hope you can get that resolved soon.

That bites. We had to replace the manual transmission on our first Xterra when our daughter tore it up one night. Very hard on the budget.

I have a 2010 Accord that has a brand new clutch +master and slave cylinder, new front hubs, new serpentine belt, new alternator, new brakes, relatively new battery that I am selling very reasonably. It is an older car with 236k, but impeccably maintained and I am selling super reasonable. I just bought a new Honda because it was simply time. If Sadie might be interested, happy to discuss. I was going to keep it as a second car, but don't drive enough. Anyway, not looking to take advantage anyone. It's a great car. I won't have issue selling it, just a thought if you want to discuss. I am basically selling it for well less than the maintenance related repairs that I put into it (thinking I was going to keep it). Happy to let you have someone look it over. It's a stick with a brand new clutch, does not burn any oil.

200k is a lot to get out of a clutch. I agree with her, manual transmission is way better. I hate they barely make them any more
