I haven't been to a Kingdom Hall in about 2 1/2 decades, (THANK GOODNESS!) but watching videos of meetings like this it seems they have gone deeper and deeper in mind control and their messages and rules have become outrageous. I cant believe alarm bells are not going off in people's heads hearing these messages. I am so grateful i got out when i did!

A while back, I watched a behind-the-scenes video about the audio visual department on this channel. For the first time ever, I saw Lett actually speak and act like a normal person. And then, during the same video, he read kids letters at the meeting and he started acting just like he does in this video. I first though that he addresses himself to the kids of the congregation in these videos to make sure to indoctrinate the next generation. And then I realized: he thinks anyone not at bethel has the mental capacity of a kid and so he talks to them like they are one. As for the weird eyes, I think he’s been preaching for so long that he’s used to 40 years ago when people in the back of the Kingdom Hall needed to see his facial expressions. He genuinely doesn’t get that it looks seriously weird on video. This guy is just disturbing on so many levels. Also: My tongue weighs 2 1/2 ounces. So, to get this number, did they have to dissect a ton of people to get an average? Why is this even in my head now? I need brain bleach.

Thanks for doing what you do for those that can’t. My parents and brothers are out but my wife and daughter are in so I have keep the peace. My wife and daughter had a shepherding call the other day. I was able to stay downstairs in my little room and over heard the whole thing. They were treating her a single mum and how hard it is without a husband to take the lead. They praised her for being so strong and to keep the faith and for being an example for others. But I was shocked to hear my daughter was recently baptized. I had no idea or was told about it or even ask if it was okay for her get baptized, she is only 15. Thanks again love your videos and the detail you put into them.

My daughter was my biggest motivation to turn in my resignation letter. My love for her was grater than my love for the organization. I will never put my child through what i went through. I can imagine being genuinely outraged at some kind of human rights abuses, caused by the church, and him attempting to console me with some semi- relevant scripture verse. I've noticed the JW church relies almost entirely on biblical precedence. The context is utterly irrelevant to them though. Like, if I'm angry, they'll say something stupid like "Moses got angry and was denied access to the promise land; therefore don't get angry, especially at us, even though we're coercive."

Great video!! This religion has broken new ground with this talk on murmuring. They look more culty and frankly, stupider than ever. I've worked in "the corporate world's for 25 years and i can tell you, there is little to no 'murmuring'. This is because employees have several avenues to raise issues and have their concerns addressed. Most companies now do twice yearly employee engagement surveys, have open door policies, and strictly enforce a no tolerance policy for any sort of retaliation against a person who raises a concern. The JWs have nothing but fear.

Granted, I'm sure she'll avoid gossiping in the future, but...is that really the best way to teach a lesson, let alone sound like a 'loving' and 'wonderful' teacher?! In the example Lett gives, the 'greatest teacher who ever existed' decided to teach a lesson by infecting Miriam with leprosy, for something as petty as discreetly questioning Moses' authority. Not talk to her, not send her a message in a dream or something - but leprosy. What a great teacher, lol!
So basically what Lett is saying is "keep your mouth shut even if you don't agree with my speech or the speeches of the ones' we chose to lead you, no matter how stupid, crazy & controlling we appear"

I did not fully understand why his family would not talk to him and they why shut him off. Then two JW's came to live next door to him. He was not happy. Now I know why. They were very nice people. However they had a Tuesday meeting every week at her house. I had come out to go shopping and called out 'Hello!' to her. A woman coming out of a car gave me such a peculiar look. However, in defense of the Old Testament (and Yahweh), I'd like to argue that Yah didn't kill the murmurers, but that their punishment for murmuring was not being able to see the promised land. So they spent the remainder of their years in the wilderness. They were not "killed". Furthermore, Yah had demonstrated through miracles that Moses was His chosen leader, so there was no reason for them to question Moses' authority in the eyes of Yah. After witnessing all of those signs and wonders, what was left to question? With that being said, the Watch Tower has no such authority. No religious organization does, since Jesus gave us a New Covenant and told His disciples that they were all brothers, and not to lord over one another. We're to teach and discipline, lead others to Christ. Not lord over them. In addition, the Watch Tower has proven time and time again that they are not Jehovah's mouth piece, but that their theology is heretical, false teaching. I know that this is a small point within your greater message, but I just wanted to take the time to bring some clarity. I'm always open to further dialogue.

A while back, I watched a behind-the-scenes video about the audio visual department on this channel. For the first time ever, I saw Lett actually speak and act like a normal person. And then, during the same video, he read kids letters at the meeting and he started acting just like he does in this video.
I first though that he addresses himself to the kids of the congregation in these videos to make sure to indoctrinate the next generation.
And then I realized: he thinks anyone not at bethel has the mental capacity of a kid and so he talks to them like they are one.
As for the weird eyes, I think he’s been preaching for so long that he’s used to 40 years ago when people in the back of the Kingdom Hall needed to see his facial expressions. He genuinely doesn’t get that it looks seriously weird on video.
This guy is just disturbing on so many levels.

Thanks for doing what you do for those that can’t. My parents and brothers are out but my wife and daughter are in so I have keep the peace. My wife and daughter had a shepherding call the other day. I was able to stay downstairs in my little room and over heard the whole thing. They were treating her a single mum and how hard it is without a husband to take the lead. They praised her for being so strong and to keep the faith and for being an example for others. But I was shocked to hear my daughter was recently baptized. I had no idea or was told about it or even ask if it was okay for her get baptized, she is only 15. Thanks again love your videos and the detail you put into them.

When kids get traumatized, have PTSD because they are afraid of Armageddon, or learn that they need to earn love and kindness and good things, instead of just being loved, for who they are....... that is heartbreaking and it needs to stop. When kids get abused and the abuser is protected...... that needs to stop. When families are ripped apart, mercilessly and children learn that they are only loved when they believe the same things you do....... that needs to stop. So thank you. Keep speaking out. I've spoken to many people who woke up because of you. I know a lovely kid who will never have to go through this as an adult because his mom woke up. Lett is incredibly patronizing when he speaks. I can imagine being genuinely outraged at some kind of human rights abuses, caused by the church, and him attempting to console me with some semi- relevant scripture verse. I've noticed the JW church relies almost entirely on biblical precedence. The context is utterly irrelevant to them though. Like, if I'm angry, they'll say something stupid like "Moses got angry and was denied access to the promise land; therefore don't get angry, especially at us, even though we're coercive."

Great video!! This religion has broken new ground with this talk on murmuring. They look more culty and frankly, stupider than ever. I've worked in "the corporate world's for 25 years and i can tell you, there is little to no 'murmuring'. This is because employees have several avenues to raise issues and have their concerns addressed. Most companies now do twice yearly employee engagement surveys, have open door policies, and strictly enforce a no tolerance policy for any sort of retaliation against a person who raises a concern. The JWs have nothing but fear.

It's amazing to me just how often JWs contradict their own fundamental beliefs & hyperbole. Virtually every 'talk' or article they make fetishizes Jehovah as the greatest, most perfect teacher in existence, however, in almost every story that follows such rhetoric, you'll hear the worst example of 'teaching' you've ever imagined. Picture this: a highschool teacher hates gossiping & rumors in class, so to teach one of his female students a lesson after hearing her gossip, he throws acid at her face, disfiguring her for life. Granted, I'm sure she'll avoid gossiping in the future, but...is that really the best way to teach a lesson, let alone sound like a 'loving' and 'wonderful' teacher?!
In the example Lett gives, the 'greatest teacher who ever existed' decided to teach a lesson by infecting Miriam with leprosy, for something as petty as discreetly questioning Moses' authority. Not talk to her, not send her a message in a dream or something - but leprosy. What a great teacher, lol!

However, in defense of the Old Testament (and Yahweh), I'd like to argue that Yah didn't kill the murmurers, but that their punishment for murmuring was not being able to see the promised land. So they spent the remainder of their years in the wilderness. They were not "killed".
Furthermore, Yah had demonstrated through miracles that Moses was His chosen leader, so there was no reason for them to question Moses' authority in the eyes of Yah. After witnessing all of those signs and wonders, what was left to question?
With that being said, the Watch Tower has no such authority. No religious organization does, since Jesus gave us a New Covenant and told His disciples that they were all brothers, and not to lord over one another. We're to teach and discipline, lead others to Christ. Not lord over them.
In addition, the Watch Tower has proven time and time again that they are not Jehovah's mouth piece, but that their theology is heretical, false teaching.
I know that this is a small point within your greater message, but I just wanted to take the time to bring some clarity. I'm always open to further dialogue.
