I absolutely love this commercial. I can't say I remember seeing this after 9/11, but I am so glad I saw it today.

Thanks for uploading this. My sister has flown for American as a flight attendant for almost 40 years. Its my favorite airline.

As a New Yorker, I can say with a heavy heart, and deep pride in my beautiful city... I never, ever held it against United or American Airlines what occurred on Tuesday, September 11th, 2001. Even then, I understood that a bunch of lone psychopaths took something beautiful and turned it into an ugly, horrific scene. The loss of the buildings didn't bother me, the loss of people? That's a pain which will never subside! As Americans, we took pride in knowing that despite our differences, we're all in this together. I recall shedding a tear after seeing that commercial originally airing. I understood the deeper message. Souls may leave, yet their spirits will soar on to the heavens and guide us, the loving and living. Hate won the battle, yet lost the war. We are one race... the human race. May Good bless and keep you. 😉🇵🇷🇺🇸📽🗽🦂😎

@Infamous Grizzly so stupid. Thousands saw the planes along with probably 100 home video films of the planes, and the people talking about seeing the planes in those videos.
Along with the airlines of those planes conforming as well

@Infamous Grizzly A tornado can embed blades of grass and pieces of wood into concrete walls, they wrap cars around trees like they're made of paper, and lift and throw concrete slabs for miles.
Why is this relevant? Because a tornado is not a "physical" object, it is a rotating column of air, it is just wind, and it's doing all of that.
A jet moving hundreds of miles an hour on the other hand had momentum, weight, and explosive fuel. If a tornado that is just wind can embed wood and grass into concrete, there is simply no way a jet can't penetrate solid concrete and steel.
I don't think that you are capable of comprehending that if something is moving fast enough it will go through whatever is in its path.
To add, under heat metal turns into spaghetti. You can demonstrate this yourself, chew a piece of gum, roll it into a cylinder and freeze it. You will find it has become stiff. Let it warm up however, and it becomes flexible and extremely malleable.
This is elementary level knowledge btw....
The steel was so hot that it didn't melt, but it glowed and became malleable. The weight of the floors on top in addition with the already catastrophic damage to the towers is what led to the collapse.
There is an up close video that shows the beams of the south tower bending and bowing inward just before the collapse...
I know what I'm saying is pointless because your head is so far up your a$$ that you think the government hired an entire city to act like there was an attack going on....
