Oh! Here it is.. Nice video, man. Really liked watching, your videos are usually interesting to watch especially when the thing is a little tragic lol but all good, I guess.. It was all worth it! 😊.
Oh man, sorry about the drone. So far, I have crashed a drone a couple of times, one of which was completely destroyed. It's good that you managed to save the recordings.
Oh wow that is a bummer! Nice that you were able to recover the footage though. I can understand this one, I once crashed my drone across a river and had to wait until spring to recover it due to access!
Hi Mr. Zoomdak Please allow me to ...hahahahahahhaa No worries, mr. Zoomdak. You are not the only person had that experience: a drone crash into the water. Kayak7seas lost his first one into the sea. I think it is easy to lose GPS far from the beach. He was going to retrieve it but I discouraged him to do so. It is deep into the ocean. hahaha I am glad you are able to showcase the footage from heaven to xxxx It was stunning bird-eye view...poor drone.. Nice to learn you got it fixed with some expense. Lesson learned! Thank you for sharing.
Yeah, that was actually a lesson I learned when I crashed my drone into a tall tree while doing a quickshot and havent noticed how tall the tree was... I had to replace a gimbal, it cost me around 140$... but anyways Wishing nice and non-accident future flights my friend 👍
@@Zoomdak I got my first drone crash a few week ago @ Garibaldi lake. It crashed when I drove it back. Fortunately, it landed to a tree bush beside the lake. I spent 10 min to reach and it’s light still flashed. That helped me locate it. I did some home work checking RUclips video help, and self repaired it damaged gimbal and replaced wings. It is now back to mission. I am lucky..
@@raynor66 Garibaldi Lake such a beautiful place. Got to visit there in 2021 and made a hiking film about it. Glad you were able to recover your drone and repair it, well done!
pretty much the cost of a new unit- the two most important parts to the aircraft got damaged. not a big deal if you happen to have a ton of batteries.... but that's only 55... it stinks for sure
Have been tough 😢 I'm glad I was able to repair it.
I had the pleasure of continuing to watch your wonderful footages.😉
Thanks so much friend, appreciate it!
Oh! Here it is..

Thanks, appreciate it. A bit tragic true, but I’m glad it got repaired.

Oh man, sorry to hear. I had the thought ever as I was bringing it back of "well, this is my first drone crash, probably not the last."
Beautiful images, wow.❤. sorry about the drone, you entered the lake to get it.. great 💪👏👍
The things we do for videography ya! Thanks for watching!
Sorry for the crash, but glad you were able to get your drone back!
Thank ya! I was glad Sparks Lake is fairly shallow otherwise it would have been a much more difficult rescue mission!
Oh wow that is a bummer! Nice that you were able to recover the footage though. I can understand this one, I once crashed my drone across a river and had to wait until spring to recover it due to access!
Oh man, glad you were able to recover it later! I was glad Sparks Lake is pretty shallow.
Oh no man that sucks, do you think you could send it off to dji refresh/care or anything?
It happens about 4 months after DJI refresh expired, so just paid for them to fix it.
Shoot, the important thing is it's getting fixed~ Careful out there!@@Zoomdak
Agreed. Been much more careful flying now!
Rough stuff, glad it's repaired now! It is really interesting how it kept filming underwater.
Thank you. Yah, I was fascinated by that too!
That sucks but such a cute little video you got out of it though haha
Thanks ya, it's my creative little consolation prize.
tbh your voice is so calm for what happened. I am shocked brotha haha.. I would not be that calm lmao
I take on stress internally so it was more like whoop, we’ll I guess that happened :/
@@Zoomdak hey I might be moving to Washington!!!
Awesome! You've made some incredible PNW films already, so if you do, I'll look forward to many more!
@@Zoomdak that or CO!
Oooh both are excellent choices.
Ouch! I’ve been pretty nervous flying around water, now I know! I saw you could buy some aftermarket accessories that supposedly help it float?
Ooh that's a good idea. I do fly it around water quite a bit so may be worth doing.
What a bummer, but glad you were able to retrieve it!
Agreed, I'm glad too though.

And likely this is only my first drone crash, and not my last! Bummer to have lost one in the ocean too!
@@Zoomdak hahaha kayak7seas lost a Gopro 10 into the waterfall during the Rappelling haha a Guy thing?
Must be!
Beautiful lake
Indeed, it is beautiful lake!
did you just try swapping the batteries to see if it would turn on?
I dried it out for several days, tries flying it, and it immediately flew sideways and the camera was all blurry :/

Ah dang, that sucks! Even after crashing it, I was like well this is probably only the first time I'll crash my drone.
$276 repair bill for a $500 drone is very expensive..
Truly, but i guess it's less expensive than buying a new one.

Oh no! that sucks man. Im sorry.
Ah thanks, it was a bummer ya.
the title breaks my heart dude :(
Ah ya it was a bummer, could have been worse though.
Nooooooo!!!!!! Ugh, sorry man! You don’t have obstacle avoidance in it?
Mini 2 has that sensor only on the bottom, and apparently it didn't see the lake as a threat. C'est le vie.
Beautiful and refreshing scenery of the lake but your drone crashed thanks for sharing
Ya it was a bummer, but it is a beautiful lake!
Wow, what a story. I didn't know drones could also be submarines!
I didn't know either!
Great drone shots before the minus-money-shot. That is a bummer.
Thanks! Ya, it was disappointing, but glad I got the interesting footage from it!
Nice upload, thanks for sharing.📯🔔
Thanks for visiting!
Nothing.
Nothing?
Interesting it kept filming while going down. Hope the drone is recovering 😊
I thought so too! It even recorded for another 10 minutes underwater!
