I will say, I really struggle with resellers, for people who really love the items and want things for their home and collection and to have resellers to buy things up to turn around and make a profit kind of stings, some people can’t afford things otherwise so when resellers go to thrift stores, yard sales and such and buy everything up it may be taking away from someone who can’t otherwise afford it! I mean I guess I’m just not a business minded individual! Loved all of your finds!! Love watching and getting excited along with you with all of your treasures!!!❤😊
I teared up at your flower frog story😢I think we all have been there. The blue bowl and the candle mold were gorgeous! My friends don’t thrift either….what’s wrong with our friends! 😂😂
Tonya a wonderful haul. I love all the old photos especially the young boy who was called Little John. We called our son Little John probably until he went to college and one of our friends still calls him that😊. The shadow box piece had great things in it and what a buy on the candle mold. I can feel your disappointment - I was No. 1 in line at one recently - I wanted this huge old basket - there were antique dealers there - and I am also directionally changed and they got to every single thing I wanted first and that was it. Usually if you are No. 1 at a sale they let you go through first and alone for a min or two but I got held up mentally at an item that caught my eye and I snoozed...so I loozed...I still came home with nice things...for which I was thankful. You got some nice things too - I love those old washboards too!

Love the jingle bells, I'm always looking for jingle bells. The cards are great! Great find of the bundle of letters, l would love find a bundle of letters. I can relate to your flower frog story. I almost gave up hope on finding a lot of them but I didn’t and I got 2 great lots of flower frogs on eBay (with reasonable shipping at that) so hang in there, you’ll get them!
Girl don’t feel bad God will lead you nxt time w/ a better deal I truly believe that 😊 I went to 1 bout 2 wks ago went the 1st day got the large stained crazed pitcher I went after & the smaller 1 however I left the middle size 1 so we went bk that Saturday got there @ 7.30 was 1st in I told Eric to go the garage to get the big jelly crock & I went to the front door where I’d gone in before however there was a side door @ the carport that wasn’t supposed to be open I went straight to the kitchen area where the pitcher was & low & behold there stood a woman she had it in her hand girl I was like you heartbroken 😢 had to pull myself together Eric knew by the look on my face then he seen her w/it 😮 so I was in the garage & I was looking through the bottom self & there was a beautiful stained to the helt ironstone bowl w/ the lid that I’d over looked before 🤦♀️ but hindsight it was just God ❤ so I ask the lady about the pitcher if she was keeping for herself or selling it she said very snotty she was selling but didn’t know what for which was fine it’s just the way she said it & I told Eric it’ll come bk to bite her sure enough the 1 I went to this past wk I was 4th in line sale started @ 11 got there 9.15 i went after a child’s Jadite set let me tell you I went straight to it got it in my hands & there she was right on my heals she was so mad I never flinched then I got a primitive huge traul she was big time mad I wouldn’t never be that rude to someone it’s just not worth it & it will come bk to bite so long story short it Gods got your bk girl friend ❤ you ended up w/ amazing things @ great prices ❤ i love everything you got I also collect primitive candle molds there all over my house 😂 gottem all @ great deals you’ll find more ❤ anyway I’d went w/ you in a ❤beat Lord we’d have a ball but I live near Johnson City Tn in a sm town of Elizabethton 😊 I’ve got a pretty good haul to flim 😊

@@jannasmith7937 I like the goodwill in Nolensville, it may actually have a Brentwood address. Down the road into Nashville is Music City Thrift and Thrift Smart. I go there as often as I can. I love the Goodwill Bins I just don’t get there enough.
You found some great pieces. I went to an estate sale last year that had hundreds of pieces of jadeite. Like you, I made sure to be there early and was 5th in line. I get inside and start going through the jadeite and a worker informs me that the entire collection was sold. I asked how did that happen so quickly because we all went in at the same time. She told me someone who lives over 3 hours from there saw the add for the sale and the day before called them and bought the entire collection over the phone! Needless to say I was not the only one that was so disappointed. I’ve also had that happen with milk glass pieces too.
You really got some great items! I know the disappointment, but maybe god knew it was someone else’s day to be lucky. You always get such great stuff. I would have to travel to another state to find such good things. I live in the antique desert of Oklahoma 😏
Sorry you didn't get your flower frogs. On the bright side maybe the person who bought them will list them for sale in your area and you will be able to still get one. If not hopefully a better deal will come along. I love all the other things you got.

When our hearts are broken, we can't help the reason, and not getting our treasures Is darn GOOD reason!😤 I would probably be mad then sad, then mad again.. seriously! I have the wash board with the metal, i want to get one with the glass in it too. That bowl is amazing! Now you know i LOVE old photos.. I probably would have spent spent hours just going thru the boxes, like i would have been in a little world of my own😄 Omgoodness that baby & little girl!! And the other little girl, the mommy & me.. the kids are my fav of all to find, those are all precious❤ Then the ladies.. that's why i love the regency/Victorian era so much, the ladies clothing, hearts & hair-do's are just amazing! Aww little John, so sweet! The outfits the Civil War couple were wearing..ooo just all of them are so amazing!! The Nashville soldier, was that a Navy or Air Force uniform?? I'm pretty sure it wasn't army nor marines, being that it was a white uniform. The store photo was very cool. The girl in the oval frame is A beautiful piece.. love those old oval frames! Those were pretty popular back then. Yes that frame was definitely and amazing! The shadow box was really cool! The candle mold is a rare find for sure.. it would have cost a nice penny in the antique store!! Great score! The Parasol is really pretty. Stooop it.. the baby & doggy oohhh how precious🥹I would try to google Lens, it may not work with real photos but its worth a try 🤷♀️ And the last piece in the frame oh goodness!! So awesome!! That may come up on google Lens if its just a painting, but it may be a painting of actual children & it may not come up in that case..but at least the frame might & that could be worth something or you may find a date! Those are all truly special, & such great finds..i could only hope to one day get so lucky as to find such goodness! Lord that entire sale would have been heaven for me! Photos, book, linens!!! I love old hankies, especially embroidered ones! Love the knitted pillow case/cover. As much as I despise the heart & sweating, i think i could have done it to dig in linens!!😁 The tree topper Is beautiful! The jingle bells & cookie cutters will be so cute to decorate with in the packaging! I've only found 2 old letters written by someone I the service in WWII & sent to their uncle.. you always find stacks😄 And I'm so glad you at least got one flower frog, and its the kind i haven't been able to find nowhere🥴 Hopefully I'll find one down here in one of these dozens of stores!!🤞🏼 I found a little history lesson & thought I'd share: The little square photo.. there's 2 kinds a 1)daguerreotype 1840-1860 & 2)ambrotype 1855-1865.. the first one has a reflective mirror look inside & the second one looks the same but doesn't have the mirrored reflection inside. Google "The 5 main types of Old Photographs". Its really interesting! The tin photo you have is a "tingraph"1856-1890's. And the ones on cardboard are called "cartes des visites" 1859. Then the "Cabinet Cards" were from 1860-early 1900's!! How cool is that! They're A few more differences in those first 2 but reading about each one is really cool! The tiny books are precious.. That's going on my hunt/wish list😊 They're "Bisque dolls" .. the head is off of a larger one, the little holes are where the wires were. I think they're cool! Maybe not dirty Mary😂 Girl you had an amazing haul! You'll find many more flower frogs, but those photos are so amazing & all one of a kind pieces girl!! Like I said, i would have been in heaven lol! Aww, Tonya don’t feel bad for crying. I have the same problems with finding the right spots. I look and look and think I know exactly where the area should be and still have problems. It’s frustrating. You got some neat items though. The photographs and books.. ❤️ A 1910 wedding dress 😳 Wow! I bet it was beautiful! I hope you go back and get it! 😄I love estate sales that have old old things. The stories those items could tell us! I love it!! We got home around 12:30/1:00 today. We definitely had a wonderful vacation and successful buying trip. It was so much fun but we are tired. Have a great weekend.
That would have been so much fun. I thought about it but didn’t know how far down in Tennessee we’d go. We’re hoping to be back in Kentucky again in Oct. so of course we’ll need to go to Tennessee too. 😄

The one with the baby sleeping and the dog looks like a death portrait of the baby to me. They took pics of their dead back then.
I believe those small pictures in the frame are daguerreotype.
