To be fair, Taylor Swift does always write about love as well.

Thank you so much for sharing Jane The Virgin! I am absolutely hooked and I have such a hard time focusing on watching TV (I'd prefer to read a book) but this show is beautifully written and so so dramatic! You are a gem! 🤗💎

I have a feeling I'm going to love her romance ones, actually all of her back catalogue. I LOVE reading recent historicals and I'm so curious to see what she does next!

I first found Taylor from YOU! You were raving about Evelyn Hugo and I went out and read it that week and was blown away!! I read Daisy last month and loved it too! but I think I am more partial to the Hollywood story over the 70’s music story, so I like Evelyn better... but that’s just me 😉
I do intend to read her other books even though I have heard they aren’t as good... just not sure when. Great video!

Another way Phase Three ties in is through Mick Riva. He's one of Evelyn Hugo's husbands, he was at one of Daisy Jones' parties and Carrie's husband listens to his music.

of her books that I've read, my order would be:
    -Maybe In Another Life
    -Evelyn Hugo
    -Daisy Jones
    -One True Loves
still need to get to her early works! I like this idea that she's writing books in thematic pairs

If I remember rightly when I went to see TJR talk about Daisy Jones she said her next book was set In Miami in the 80’s and started with a woman at a party and then something happens to her... I can’t wait for whatever she puts out next!

Love this video. I just read Evelyn Hugo last month (THE best ❤️) and am gearing up to read everything else. I picked up Daisy Jones and Maybe In Another Life - not sure what to dive into next but I'm officially obsessed with her writing, stories, characters, etc. Can't believe it took me this long to discover her books 🙌🏻

I've never met someone who has hated a Taylor Jenkins Reid novel. I feel like she can't write a bad novel. Also I've only listened to her books on audio - Daisy Jones and Evelyn Hugo. I want to see how different it will be to read it physically

I’ve seen quite a few here actually, including me. But I get what you mean, if you’re in certain circles everyone raves about her. This is how I picked up Daisy Jones & the Six. There’s no doubt she can technically write, but her elemental handling of story is very loose. It’s like she doesn’t write beyond an idea- her stories always feel underdeveloped as do her characters. I lost my trust in Instagram and Tik Tok reviewers because of Taylor Jenkins Reid

    • @pucksandpaperbacks
      @pucksandpaperbacks 2 года назад

@@officialmkamzeemwatela I agree, obviously this comment is very old, so my opinions have changed on TJR. I'm not planning to read anything by her again especially since Carrie Soto came out and was very harmful toward the Latine community. TikTok does tend to hype up authors who don't need the hype.

Have you read Supernova? Her first one and the one I have read from her. I loved that story..!! After the first time I read the book years ago the story always had been in my head. It was a perfect mix of love and heartache, so well written!. The story got me, and I always thought about over the years..recently I have read it for the second time. Still a beautiful book! I don't know any other book of her, I will look into it! She can write really well! One true love is a book that speaks to me as well, similar story about heartache and grief..so sad. But if they are well written they are beautiful stories💖

I had to google that as I’d never heard of Supernova but apparently that is the international title for Forever Interrupted! So yes I have :)

@Drinking By My Shelf Oh! Really? didn't know that! I thought it was the english title as well;) sorry! I guess after reading the book titles in the descriptionbox I typed this and missed the first synopsis you were telling what apperently was the same book 🙈. I am going to look for One true Loves after hearing the story..! Or whatever the international title is haha. Thanks💕

I've only read Daisy Jones & the Six so far but I really want to read The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo and probably the blue books as well as the premises sound so intriguing to me! 😊
