Collecting Quartz and Fluorite in Central Arizona

  • Went rockhounding out to in new area my friend and I have never been to before in Arizona and it went really well!
    -We start pulling out some cool crystals from the pocket around minute 4 and around minute 6:30 we start pulling out some pretty awesome plates!

    DUDES!! I love seeing guys excited about digging and finding quartz crystals!! lol licking and sucking crystals clean!!😁 The walk in there would wear me out, but the walk out, loaded up with crystals, would kill me!!! Yall scored some amazing crystals there! Awesome! Very cool!!

    I was out of Tucson walking and found aqua marine crystals sticking right out of quartz vain.

      Thank you! We really do love to find crystals and different deposits. The view out there is beautifal but it's a long hike to get to that beauty. Happy hounding out there!

    I live in az. Where are some good places to hunt for quartz? I went to the date creek location and it was pretty good but I need more ideas!!

      Date creek is what I was going to suggest!! There's crystal hill out by quartzite and washington camp. Don't forget daimond point at payson AZ!!

      Well basically when you start seeing cool things on a hike then they just stop and you see no more then you know you went past the source that was producing those cool things
