Do they really not know that Harris was a bad pick? I am not being anti woman or anti color as I believe the only worse pick was Walz. As for Harris, the only reason why she ran for president is that she was riding the wave of opportunity that she started when she first got into politics. I do believe she is and would vote within her progressive ideology, but she ran for her first and foremost not for her agenda.
@susiew5687 Yes! If you have witnessed her entire career, you realize that she has never stood for anything but her own ambition. She thought her empty charm that won over S.F. elites would translate to the big stage.
The race wasn’t winnable for Harris. She was simply the worst candidate ever to run for POTUS in my lifetime. Hardly comparable to Bill Clinton or Obama, both very skilled politicians.
100 days? She had almost 4 years to create opportunities to shine. She could have positioned herself for a run either for 24 or 28. First woman VP could have rocked it but she bombed there and as a potus candidate.
@@mns8732 agreed. But they are too far left on social ideologies and, at the same time, “too far right” on war. False - her goal in 2019 was to be president which meant she should have been prepping for the job from Day One as VP. She had a geriatric boss who could have kicked off any day of the week so she had no time to waste. In the end, she had almost four years - enough time to become a wizard in the role. Instead she just partied hard until suddenly she woke up for final exams and flopped like a drunk freshman. No excuse whatsoever. She may be lazy or she may simply be stupid either way she proved who she was when the test came - a loser is a loser.
This was a perfect example of why DEI is a horrible policy. In 2020 she was picked based on gender and being non-white. Yeah, the media was able to fan the flames of the initial excitement--and, of course, she won (rather: Trump lost) the debate--but aside from those peaks, her campaign always seemed to be on a glidepath to defeat. The most surprising thing to me was that she couldn't even pull of canned interviews with Democrat assets. Terrible policies, terrible candidate, terrible campaign.

Harris' 107-day campaign was largely irrelevant. The only two times in the last 150 years that a sitting vice-president has won the succeeding presidency has been when their president had been wildly popular. Vice-presidents cannot win when they're rolling off an unpopular administration. No sitting vice-president has been able to separate himself from an unpopular administration...and Harris didn't even try. She said right off that she wouldn't have done anything differently. In the meantime, Trump had been campaigning for the entire four years, and he used every far-Left act during that time of the Biden Administration against them. Harris could never and didn't really try to separate herself from the far-Left Biden Administration.

His continuing Trumps privatizing schemes in social programs and gifting the fossil fuel industry 650 MILLION acres of federal land?
