I’ve only been aware of transformers lore from a distance, seen some of the cartoon, seen people talk about it. I wanted to watch this film when it came out and people were saying it was good, but I didn’t find out about it until after I had seen Wild Robot, and didn’t get a chance to go back Just watched it the other day on streaming, and it is a beautiful piece of media. I don’t think it beats out the Wild Robot in terms of emotional beats, but I do think I actually enjoyed it over Inside Out 2. And Inside Out 2 was beautiful and great, but for different reasons. That movie had a lot to say, it Transformers One had a lot to DO, and it did it well. I regret not buying another ticket to see it, because I think this movie deserves a good follow up and a good fan base and it’s sad it didn’t get the box office money it deserved That said, the Wild Robot is still the best animated film of the year, perhaps one of the best films of the year, and I highly recommend it, I don’t want people sleeping on that either. It’s gorgeous, and made my dad cry 4 time.

I enjoyed wild robot as well and think it will win the Oscar but I’d just like to say “You know the Oscar winning transformers film?”
