The Strymon Brig, the best-kept secret from Strymon. The least expensive, yet superb-sounding analog-type delay emulation from Strymon. This thing is fantastic. I've owned BBD delays in the past, and everything I liked about them is faithfully recreated here, with tap tempo and Multi as a bonus. I was hesitating between a Boss DM-101 and this and, even though I could afford either one, I went with the Brig and so far I'm delighted with it. As a bonus, this pedal saved me over $220 USD compared to the DM-101.

About to get a pedal as soon as my Reverb clears.....I am leaning toward this or a Deco. Main delay is a Volante.
I think el cap is better than this one
@@theflamerising1767 I am sure they are both good, I did end up getting a Deco V2 and I absolutely love it. I will have to try an El Cap some time.

This is all Im looking for in a delay, dont like the other kinds of delay...this is musical if you play lead lines....oscillation is like adding noise...this doesn't do that

I disagree heavily with this pedal. Could have been implemented into the Brigadier easily.
Has been 3 years since the last flagship pedal being nightsky. Before that iridium and volante.
If strymon will continue pushing out existing pedals in small form factor they will lose a lot of their experimental mojo
Don't get me wrong, I think these are a great idea but everytime they release a oedal I am excited for a creative flagship box and then there is something I have anyway on my timeline.
There are so many things I hope them to do: Multivoice pitchshifter delays like the meris hedra. Orchestra vst reverbs, like a mix of reverb and mel9 - which they showed they can do with coloudburst - why nit expand on that? Pure tape nodulation machines - many types like the mods on volante but on dry? Expand in a microcosm like direction?
I think strymon dismisses their freaky core audience atm.
This pedal is NOT Brigadier light. Very unique pedal. Same with cloudburst. NOT BigSky. Both work extremely well layered with Timeline and other pedals.
Dude, yes!!! Especially the pitch shifting. If Strymon made one I’d absolutely ditch my Boss.

No seriously, how can I have the audacity to critizise strymon once when after all I had only praise for all those years that I wrote down in forums, advertising strymons to frinds and other guitarplayers that bought then strymons... And owning 8 strymons myself
DANG I should feel ashamed that I voice my opinion on the new overpriced recycling of their old effects in new boxes. I should shut the fuck up and buy more instead
@@Markuson3nightsky is my favourite reverb pedal but I sold it to pay sone bills plus I had issues with space on my board!! I eventually got the cloudburst!!and it didn’t disappoint! it’s not the sane but different but at it’s core! Has the same quality in sound of that makes sense? and covers my main needs :)
