All you and your family take time to film all that you do on the homestead. You are always thank us viewer's. . I want to thank you for your time it is such a pleasure to to get in the morning a watch your. Thank you for sharing. .
Gary Feltus when I started watching their channel Al had a full time job as did Gina, As their channel grew he was able to quit his job and do the utube channel full time. And now Gina has quit her job as well. Don’t get me wrong, it’s lots of work and time making these videos, but as their channel grows it makes them more money and we are able to watch their homestead grow. It’s one of my favorite channels and he’s thankful for us all! ❤️💕 as we are with them sharing all their knowledge with us.
Not sure what I would do without Lumnah acres. You folks bring so much peace and relaxation in our lives, even in times of sorrow. Thanks again for sharing with us.
Hi Lumnahs. I’ve been watching for over a year and watch every new post with joy. I’m 70 and have a small veg plot. Every year I rotate crops and try new things. I’m using Agralan netting for first time this year after previous years cabbages broccoli and cauliflowers were all destroyed by caterpillars. Spuds are doing well this year. Carrots parsnips and beetroot growing well but will have to wait to see how good crop is. I had a new greenhouse this year, it’s only 6foot by 8 foot but plenty big enough to start seedlings
Al you are so organized! everything looks amazing, I can see you are putting everything back into your homestead. cant go wrong with that at all. youve got to be so proud !
Always such great videos and you are a lovely family. The harmony between the three of you is so obvious and you are perfectly suited for the life you live.
I don't know if you like wind chimes but some of those leftover pieces would make wonderful chimes. I love wind chimes!!! Happy you are so close to being able to plant your garden, love the green house it's huge!!! God bless you and your family, your home and animals. I love New Yolk City!!!
Another great video showing the viewers what is possible with some forethought and some hard work. You are all very blessed. God bless our troops and stay safe. God bless America and I look forward to other great videos.
The greenhouse was so worth it! Give those onions a 2nd chance. Give some compost tea, and cover them. They should bounce back. Dinner looked awesome! Next time y’all make Shepard’s pie, can you post them recipe? It’s still on my mind from yesterday! Have a blessed day!
I've got to put up a greenhouse, its a small one from harbor freight, but I am happy to get started growing, the sun is so hot here, plants really suffer under the heat! Glad your greenhouse has come together! Stay blessed and healthy guys!🙌🙏👍🤗💞
Finally we see some sun! Since Monday night we've had 7.5" of rain. Rain is also in the forecast for the next 10 days but we are planting anyway! That greenhouse looks amazing, Al & Gina, you did a great job! I love pork tenderloin! Blessings to all.
I'm always amazed how temps are SO different from one side of country to another. My broccoli bolted weeks ago. And yours isn't in ground yet!! I enjoy all your projects and wish I wasn't recovering from back surgery so I could do projects! Our place has fallen into disrepair sadly.but I am anxious to reclaim and rebuild!
Lots of Vit c , msm , (collagin, Knox gelatin etc ) and boron , have had a couple of bulged disc but have managed to avoid surgery , will say a prayer for you .
It will be nice to see you growing veggies without all the snow. In my garden, for the 1st time ever, I am growing asparagus. Can't wait to eat it in a few years. Have a Wonderful & Blessed Day!
Your meal looked delicious, Gina. You remind me so much of a cousin of mine. You look like her and make some of the same facial expressions she did. She passed away about 6 years ago. I miss her.
Good morning Lumnahs... beautiful morning on the homestead and the animals are full of joy as they have breakfast. The veggies are looking good and high tunnel will have enough air flow now that you’ve fixed the side vents. Excellent video today, from the egg gathering to the goat cuddling. Dinner looked divine as usual and I bet them piggies will be tasty as that pork tenderloin you made. Have a blessed weekend and stay safe🤙
Good mauhnin Lumnah Acres! My egg count today was 14! Oh well! Dinner looked soooooo good Gina! Going to try your marinade Gina. The greenhouse is almost ready! Woohoo! Take care and have a great weekend.
Congratulations on the completion of the greenhouse. Its amazing. Now to see it grow amazing vegetables for your family. And maybe even for you to sell to the neighborhood. LOL I can just see Oliver's selling the vegetables at a stand at the end of your driveway. With all the vegetables I heard you had growing. What I didn't hear that you were planting is any kind of potatoes. Did I miss that? G-D Bless and have a successful growing season. Thank you for taking me on your journey called life.
We rent so I wasn’t going to grow anything until we buy later this year, but then I started drooling over everything everyone was growing. I bought 8 growing bags off Amazon and going to buy some dirt and getting fresh mulch from my SIL’s goats & chickens and giving this a go. I’ve been reading that tomatoes, snap peas, green beans, and peppers do well. So perfect we can make some healthy snack food until I can get my big growing beds
I hear you. : ) Even if it's only a few containers.. it's good to plant something. Today I'm planting some basil at my porch. I love the smell it gives off when I brush past it.
Al, You & your followers should check out Deep South Homestead video today. They have the screening on their high tower G/H & fabric floor. These 2 people can teach you what is right for them in the deep south. Your needs will be different as your G/H sits on the land differently. They have a shade cloth on theirs from the start. The heat will become a problem for you. Lots to learn on your part!
Olivia amazes me more and more with her willingness to help on the homestead. This video showed her cleaning out the birthing stall. I know that was pretty nasty but she hung in there and did the work. She will be a good farmer in her own right one day.
How Wonderful to start planting, Take a big rest from building projects. Well desired. Zinnias, Mary gold, Nasturtium, Lavender all help with squash and zucchini bugs and others for the garden. Everything looks great
Great concept for the sides..I think it’s just going to take a little getting used to. I like that you didn’t edit out the first attempt so others will know some times, ya gotta work out a kink or two. If looks had a smell...that dinner smelled DEEEEELICIOUS with my eyes!! 🤣👍🏻 you are mastering that pellet grill!! We prefer our char wood grill....takes a bit more time but, love the flavor!!
Those metal tubing pieces can be cut up and used to make handles for things, like cabinets or bins or drawers, etc. They would look cool with wooden end pieces on a refurbished chest of drawers or nightstands, etc. Or a cool windchime to hang on one of your buildings or even somewhere on the greenhouse since they are technically from the " bones" of the greenhouse!! Just some thoughts, since I too love to repurpose leftover parts and things!! I can usually think of something that is outside of the box. Good luck with your plantings and God Bless!
Gina: not sure if you can or want to use this dressing mix but when I make mom's garden salad we use Miracle Whip mixed with Kraft Zesty Italian Dressing with a tad bit of sugar. We also use small shell pasta, green onions, peas, cucumber, diced tomato, diced bell pepper, diced celery, pineapple tidbits and a can of tuna (drained). A huge bowl only lasts about 2 days here (we eat it as a main meal and snack on it when ever we want - we have some in the fridge all summer long as all veggies come from our garden except for the celery till ours is large enough to start harvesting).
I'm in SE Qld Australia and we are having a cold snap....5am and its 15.5C ( 60F) and we've had to get out the blankets and house sox to keep us warm. My son loves the heat and he is miserable with this chill. While I don't like the real cold (I know you guys would say this is not at all cold) I mean below 10C (50F), after the last few summers of 30-35 C (86-95F) constant temps day and night, this chill is a bit nice.
Al you should think about maybe putting some half inch hardware cloth on the Roll up sides to keep on wanting creatures from getting into your high tunne
I've been watching both you and Living Traditions Homestead. Borrowing ideas from both your videos. Al your construction projects are amazing to watch. Just starting my "mini" (100' X 100') homestead. Today put down garden ground cloth...phew! just missed the wind! Tomorrow the drip irrigation system. Unlike New Hampshire (where I grew up) and Missouri, here in Western Colorado don't get much rain, so have to irrigate. This Summer, plans are for establishing the gardens (2) 30 X 60. This Fall a hoophouse (16 X 32), starting all the plants (400 plus) in the house and transporting out onto the deck each day and back inside at night is a nightmare. I'm putting a 800 gallon plastic tank and painting it flat black to see how it will work as a heat sink in the hoophouse for early Spring seedlings. I'll be able to draw water out of the tank to start the seedlings, until the irrigation water starts April 1st each growing season. Thinking about animals and manure for fertilizing...I hesitant on goats, but have been thinking of rabbits for their manure. I have the area for goats, but it's all dry, no grazing for them, so would have to constantly be buying hay. By the way, I'm a single retired woman in her 60's, so don't let age stop you.
Morning y'all looks, awesome... Poor onions... Baby goat jumping-off up down bucking haha too cute.... Love it. Don't know why commericals galore today every couple minute's they taking advantage of your good channel...
The greenhouse is looking good. You must be so pleased it’s pretty much ready for planting. Will you be finishing off the loose plastic at the bottom of each end? I’m assuming so, as that would let out a lot of heat in winter. 🙂 The baby goats are just so adorable especially the little girl. She’s a bundle of energy. ☺️🙂
That pasta salad would have been even better if it had chunks of ham in it. We do that a lot down south. Cube the smoked ham into tiny cubes and mix it in. Give that a try!
Have you watched Arms Family Homestead? Daniel has a green house and grows everything almost year round. He has plants in tubs, lots on benches, and some in raised beds. He also has some fruit trees inside it.
Back in the day, we'd make tree stands, for deer hunting, by cutting a 4" wide by 4" deep "V" in either end of a short length 2" x 12" pine board. We'd stick these in the fork of a tree and a couple of stomps of wedge them so tight you'd have to cut them out with a saw.
I hope you all take Monday off ! Have you two discussed creating a patreon page , I for one would be one of the first to sign up . Do the math 5 videos a week , 20 a month , I know your the first channel I watch in the morning , I hope consider it .

God bless .
Not sure what I would do without Lumnah acres. You folks bring so much peace and relaxation in our lives, even in times of sorrow. Thanks again for sharing with us.
I started my first vegetable garden! Cucumbers, bell peppers, green beens, tomatoes, and beets, all staples in my home.
Water the onions and they will come back up. Just the tops are dead. 🧅🧅🧅
I was going to say the very same thing :-)
Us 1MT net a long the greenhouse it keeps the wind out and lets the heat out we did in the summer mouths

Straight from winter time to summer time. Welcome to South Carolina. You're still missing the 100% humidity. God Bless.
Looking really nice, can't wait to see you planting in it. It's awesome to see Gina opening up more in front of the camera😊
Thank you for continued tenacity and great attitudes. You folks are a wonderful example.
Al you are so organized! everything looks amazing, I can see you are putting everything back into your homestead. cant go wrong with that at all. youve got to be so proud !
Always such great videos and you are a lovely family. The harmony between the three of you is so obvious and you are perfectly suited for the life you live.
Super greenhouse! I could smell the pork tenderloin, yum. Congratulations on almost 200,000.
Yahoo, the greenhouse is done and ready. Great work!! 👍 I love seeing the time spent with the baby goats and other animals. Dinner looked so good. 💖🐐🐔
What an amazing greenhouse kit! Can't get over how little's left once completed.
I don't know if you like wind chimes but some of those leftover pieces would make wonderful chimes. I love wind chimes!!! Happy you are so close to being able to plant your garden, love the green house it's huge!!! God bless you and your family, your home and animals. I love New Yolk City!!!
Another nice addition to your pasta salad is diced Granny Smith apples
You are moving along to growing most of your food....so excited for you! Good work!

Wonderful job and great idea on reversing the roll-up so as not to trap water as it runs off the roof.
Can wait to see some plants in the greenhouse! That tenderloin looked good.
I love watching your videos. I find myself watching the calendar and clock to see when you’ll post your next video.
I just love the baby gots.its just like trying to clean up around kids in the way.great job Olivia
I’ve gotten attached to every one of your 🐐’s definitely puts you in a good mood for the day thank you.
Love your videos, my favourite is baby goat/ play cuddle time, is it possible to see a bit more of buttercup and babies now and again 😀🌻
I don't think I will ever tire of seeing the baby goats play. Take Care. God Bless
The greenhouse is looking good and that pork tenderloin got me really hungry. Have an amazing Saturday, Andreas from Off Grid Sweden 🇸🇪
Finally we see some sun! Since Monday night we've had 7.5" of rain. Rain is also in the forecast for the next 10 days but we are planting anyway! That greenhouse looks amazing, Al & Gina, you did a great job! I love pork tenderloin! Blessings to all.
I'm just starting out, have about 15 vegetable plants out, and about 20 egg layers coming in a couple weeks. Revved up to start my small homestead.
I'm always amazed how temps are SO different from one side of country to another. My broccoli bolted weeks ago. And yours isn't in ground yet!! Sunflower seeds r verry nutritious-good in salads/sunflower butter, etc. Also, animals love them. Nothing gets wasted.
Cool look Al, sweat shirt, vest & short pants?????? you young-ins are sumpthin else!
love the new videos they seem like i am right there on the homestead with you and the family
Well done!! That build was not for the faint-hearted. Chapped lips and sore thumb to boot, lol. I think a day off may be in order....? It looks great.
The weather has been really weird this year.. Very hot and dry this week. Can't wait to see what you grow in there.
Nice job on getting your high tunnel finished and now on to planting
al and gina i like that the way you roll up the side plastic good job
Another Outstanding video thank you and God bless and be safe. Jim
Yum on that delicious meal.

I grew tomatoes, peppers, broccoli on my apartment balcony in the 80s
Grow bags are great! Just watch the soil. The bags tend to dry out the soil

Your meal looked delicious. I can smell that pork tenderloin. Yummy. Best wishes for the holiday weekend.
sounds yummy we are going to grill out at our farm land tomorrow and I will get to see the garden for the first time
Get a drill attachment for the green house curtain winder mech, it will be so much easier for Gina with your Dewalt!
James T I think you’ll see Al’s Yankee ingenuity kick in later in another video! He’s a pretty smart cookie!
They do a similar thing with a semi trailer called a condastoga , all the DVRs I know carry a cordless drill.
Hope you all are doing great
Can’t wait to see the green house journey now!👍🏾
Olivia amazes me more and more with her willingness to help on the homestead. This video showed her cleaning out the birthing stall. I know that was pretty nasty but she hung in there and did the work. She will be a good farmer in her own right one day.
We’re expecting snow today in Colorado. Oy. So good to see Pluto.
I didn't realize Pluto was a girl 🤦😁
How Wonderful to start planting, Take a big rest from building projects. Well desired. Zinnias, Mary gold, Nasturtium, Lavender all help with squash and zucchini bugs and others for the garden. Everything looks great
Thank you for all you do! God bless!
Watching the little black goat baby. So cute. Perhaps call her Spring.

Awesome job on the greenhouse

Wow on the pork tenderloin.
It sure seems like a well engineered structure, the greenhouse.
But I'd not want to undertake such a massive project! Very impressed by your skills!!
Wow great on the hoop house looks amazing
I screamed when you placed your hand on that wasp!!! (When you were attaching the wind up gear)

Try lowering your upper anchor point, on the upright pole of your winch, for raising the sides.
It's almost like the chickens unionized and demanded to get fed first.
Baby goats are looking good.
Al you should think about maybe putting some half inch hardware cloth on the Roll up sides to keep on wanting creatures from getting into your high tunne
I just subscribed, newby but, I've watched several videos. God Bless all
Gina, your hair looks amazing. So shiny and pretty
Really enjoy watching your progress on your different projects .. thanks for sharing guys

Happy Memorial Day to your family from ours...
The pork tenderloin looked delicious wish I had a camp chef
Looking forward to having enough veggies for my family and my friends too!
don't forget the bolts for the ropes holding your sides. on .
That pasta salad would have been even better if it had chunks of ham in it. We do that a lot down south. Cube the smoked ham into tiny cubes and mix it in. Give that a try!
wow epic!! nice job guys. I'm gonna have to add-on to my greenhouse now! haha
Have you watched Arms Family Homestead? Daniel has a green house and grows everything almost year round. He has plants in tubs, lots on benches, and some in raised beds. He also has some fruit trees inside it.
Nice touch with the working intro.
You should add screen to the sides so insects wont get inside the hoop house when the sides are rolled up.
We did that back in the day before hunting out of trees was legal , used to leave the board at the base of the tree , easy to conceal.
Evening Al, Gina n Olivia. Stay safe
I hope you all take Monday off ! Have you two discussed creating a patreon page , I for one would be one of the first to sign up . Do the math 5 videos a week , 20 a month , I know your the first channel I watch in the morning , I hope consider it .
He has a patreon page. Hit Luma Acres, then about, scroll down.
Nice fix!
love the little black goat I would name her ebony. just seems to fit. that name came to me when I first saw her.
Looks really yummy
Don't forget, if you feed the marigold flower petals to your chickens, you'll get deep orange yolks. Doesn't effect anything other than color.
Oops, Olivia I commented too soon about you cutting your meat. I commented before the video was over. Good job. Was glad to see you do it. Nicely done.
